Good for one time visit. Luxury rooms with magnificent interior.Belongings of the family of king are stored efficiently.I loved the characteristic kulfi here. morover its very clean and well maintained.

One of the amazing architecture and which can only been seen when you visit the palace. Picture can't give you the feeling of these great peace of art and history. It's one of the must watch place of JODHPUR, even you have short time these can be visited as it's not far from any location and easily assessable too.

Awesome place historical building converted to luxury hotel

Umaid Bhawan is more of marketing then hotel. This property built by people of Jodhpur for Maharaja but now Maharaja is enjoying the fruits his parents and people who work hard. Jodhpur Maharaja is good business man and he has converted every property to hotels. Every property generating cash but he has not given much to society back.
Lots of people have died during construction of this place but no One talk about the facts.

One of best maintained Palace. Umedh bhawan is a rich tourist attraction.It consists of a museum and vinatge cars which is located on the outside .The Hotel is at the other side of the palace but it's too expensive. It's 5 star property.

Hospitality at its best!! What defines stay at Umaid Bhawan palace is the amazing staff who go all the way to fulfil your request whatever it takes. The staff do not have the word 'No' in their dictionary :-)
And then the Palace is magnificent to stay with the best part being the entry dome and the baradari restaurant overlooking the bouginvilla gardens...

You can't roam the whole nly museum is open nd vintage car museum there are nly 10 car but they are in good condition the ticket over ther is 50

Historic place, I don't personally enjoy it but the one who does can enjoy. And it has a good vintage car collection museum too.

Beautiful palace at the heart of the city. The creative work inside the palace are worth to see. Antique pieces of the royal family are kept in the museum. Outside the palace, the gardens are well maintained and clean.

An architectural marvel. Umaid bhavan palace is a must do visit while in Jodhpur. Although a major portion of the palace has been converted to a hotel the museum is worth a visit and gives a good insight on the prosperous history of the Maharaja.

If Royal & excellent service go together it's the Palace to be Staff steals away the Show from Receptionist Alka who is more than a perfect Host to Kush who moves like a Shadow with you to Caretaker Mr.Bhopal who takes care like a Home care taker.

The hotel is truly royal. Located right next to the museum palace it has rooms with beautiful view. The service makes you feel like a royal family member. The hot is expensive but is an experience in itself.

Umaid Bhavan is a luxury hotel run by the Taj group. This was the residence of Jodhpur royal family earlier and the bhavan was given to Taj group to run a hotel. Interestingly, the royals still live in a portion of the building which they retained. Bollywood Priyanka got married here.
