Imposing stone architectural marvel. Possibly the top tourist destination in town. The entrance and museum area inside are a bit narrow and may get crowded in peak times. Worth a visit if you're visiting Jodhpur. Spend some time and look up in the open courtyard area inside the palace.

It's basically a palace where Royal Rajputana kings used to reside....A part of it has been converted to a five star resort... staying here definately gives a Royal feeling to one...staff are very courteous.....they have a museum which is open for public on a very nominal fees.....it also incorporates awesome display of old vintage cars used by the Royal Kings...It's pride of Jodhpur City..

Amazing living palace with a luxury landmark hotel inside. The museum showcases the life and history of the current king HH Gaj Singh II and his ancestors. It also has history and architecture details of the palace and it's construction.

It was old fort cum residential palace of the king converted to 5* hotel by Tata group.

The area for public is also worth visiting for those who like to visit historical places. The development of over 100 years can be seen by you.

There are shops inside and outside the Umaid Bhavan where you can see different varieties of clothes, jewellery and so many varieties for women.

You will never know how you have spent more than two hours.
