Excellent place for family get together as well as business meetings

Always love going back to the coffee shop for the decor and the club sandwich.

The ocassion was to celebrate our daughter s 9th b day and they made it celeberatory!!!Rohit & Sriparna took good care of hospitality and food!!!Good ambience of the house so recommended!!!

This is one of the finest Five Star Hotels in Kolkata. It is opposite to Zoological Garden in Alipore. There service is too good.

Previously good food was served since year not visited

All amenities available. Valet parking lot provided.

Once again Taj honored us with its magnanimity. I had a letter with me that entitled two people to have free buffet dinner. But with the current situation, the restaurant wasn't offering buffet. Even then they gave me the offer and didn't charge for my kids! We had a free dinner for the first time in our life and that too in Taj! Thank you for making the evening the most memorable one!

The name is enogh to say about Taj Bengal , super hospitality and good services to their client.

Chinoiserie decor needs to liven up a bit. The grey and white decor is dull n boring for a chinese restaurant

The expresso coffee was not served properly. It was served in a wine glass. As well as the service was very late . It's not expected from a 5star hotel.

Very nice experience. There are several restaurant to try lot of dishes and various cuisines . The entrance is grand . Staff is good and courteous.

Luxurious 5 Star Vacation with Family and Friends

New Years at Taj Bengal was a wonderful experience, all thanks to the exemplary service and the courteous staff.

A group of 16, of our friends, along with their respective family decided to stay at Taj Bengal on 31st Dec 20 and 1st Jan 21 to give a fresh start to the new year, and the decision was not regretted at all.

The first thing which we noticed was the sanitization of the hotel, and the protective measure the staff took as a shield against COVID-19. Regular sanitizing, maintaining proper distance, use of protective equipment was spot on.

On arrival at the hotel, we were welcomed and greeted by Smriti Mohandas, who very smoothly facilitated the check-in process and made sure we faced no issues, and considered all our requests. Upon request, we were provided free room upgrade as a gesture of goodwill.
The rooms provided were form of true art and too spacious. I would like to mention the hospitality of Saurabh Mitra, the Front Office Manager, who attended us, and honoured us by arranging a meeting with the General Manager, Mr. Vijay Shrekent.

Mr. Vijay's friendly and courteous nature was a sign of his cheerful and generous personality.

The food served during our entire stay was, least to say, scrumptious, and was served hot and delicious each and every time, thanks to restaurant staff, Mr. Manoj, the restaurant manager, Ms. Ipsita, who hosted us, and Cruz Basu and Avik, because of whom we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

We availed the services of spa and gymnasium as well, and had a relaxing time there.

With our stay coming to the end, last but not the least, Mr. Abhijeet Sarmah, too deserves a mention for ensuring smooth checkout. It was a lovely start to our year, and the hospitality shown by Taj deserves an applause.

This for sure is one of the most amazing stay we had.

Signature Taj experience and service. All the restaurant serves excellent food. All good just that it has a horrible policy of not allowing residents of Kolkata to use their gymnasium even when you are willing to pay for it.

One of the best 5 stats in the most happening place, Alipore, love it interior's.

I went to the Cal-27 restaurant for dinner. The food served was delicious.

Frankly at the top, it is really not given pa compared to the country but sincerely the hotel is very beautiful and comfortable, super clean and the staff is very friendly.

My most favorite star rated hotel in the city. Have been going there since I was a child. The hub serves brilliant Italian. Sonargaon is an age old classic. Souk is brilliant too, one of the best brushes in the city. The atrium lobby has its own charm.

A great place with total ambience, exotic food & beverages. Hospitality at its best amongst Star Hotels at Kolkata....just loved it during an Official Meeting.. Take Care all Staff of The Taj Bengal.
