Very good fine cuisine. An extraordinary cellar. Hushed atmosphere a little outdated.
Very cozy dining room, excellent welcome and courtesy, very tender Easter lamb, choice of wines in harmony ... Chef's house, up to its reputation
Perfect welcome and service. Wonderful meal, quickly come back!
new management has keep up the world class standards. Best meal in Paris
Superb lunch the food and wine lunch menu is perfect as well as the service
It is sure that you will have a magic moment. The dishes, the refinement, the service, the decoration, the place, all are there ...... thank you again, thank you a thousand times ......
Refined cuisine, impeccable service, magnificent decor, up to its reputation. I particularly recommend the private salons, a magnificent experience of French excellence.
One of the best restaurants in Paris. An amazing place for food, for the environment, with very nice and kind people.
What a great moment we had there.
Thanks a lot to Taillevent.
Magnificent experience, delicious and amazing dishes, impeccable service.
My first experience of this restaurant under the air of the new Chef David Bizet.
We came for the Les 5 menu by Yann de Queffelec.
An unforgettable memory by the farandole of exquisite and mastered dishes.
The food and wine pairings were precise and sensible.
The chef s dishes have a rare balance.
The land and the sea were really at their quintessence ...
I invite you to stop at this address. One of the biggest Parisian houses.
Very beautiful establishment: an explosion of flavors, and sublimated products. Delicious moments
I went there for my 50th birthday. What a great experience. Excellent food and wine pairing
Duckling with spices is exquisite France in gastronomy I give a 20/20 it's too good to try it all this restaurant is fabulous I am a big fan the restaurant is at the top
An exceptional experience, a place steeped in history and fabulous cuisine! Very nice welcome and excellent service
I LOVE everything about this place. Very sophisticated somm for their reputation for having the 2nd largest wine list in the world. Waiting was done with a nice and professional manner. Our waiter's english was also elegant and perfect. He was so nice that he even volunteered to kneel down to take our photos.
Magnificent place, bathed in light. And exceptional cuisine. Amply deserves its awards. And honestly, prices remain relatively fair for this high level of service.
Awesome place with superb food and service!
Pricey but worth it for that special event!
2019 Michelin Guide: loss of 1 Michelin star. Google Cuisine: good enough! 2 Michelin stars (2018) One star in 2019
"OK. We admit it. This is an ""American"" 3 Star (referring to the majority of your dining companions) as my French friends say, but the quality of food and level of service compare equally with Alain Ducasse and other 3 stars. The Langoustines are an excell"
a cozy, slightly old-fashioned place with very old-school service. side dishes an exceptional entry land-sea foie gras eel then the big disappointment suite with classic dishes and desserts not at the level of a 2 *.
Superb service, some remarkable courses, (St. Jacques with apples, chevreuil in game sauce, Wild duck tourteau with authentic sauce rouennaise), deep wine list
Visited for dinner. It is delicious and has a good atmosphere.
Highly recommend to visitors. Highly qualified staff. Exceptional material. Very typical setting. Justified price. The
Excellent address Delicious meal from appetizers to desserts Very nice wine list
A really very pleasant moment
The food is obviously fantastic. Service, ambiance, etc also great. However, we did not find the total experience justified the price. We enjoy fine dining and don't mind paying for it. The price to value proposition was not there.
My American family had the best experience here. We were wow d with the service, food, & wine. The staff go above & beyond to make this the ultimate fine dining experience. I highly recommend getting the sampler of everything. I did not know levels of this food greatness existed. I never thought I was going to each pigeon before but even it was incredibly good. I will never forget it. Bravo!!!
Food was exceptional. Try the grouse if you get a chance.
A classic!
Superb restaurant. ...warm welcome .
The quality is always there.
Succulent, refined and true to its promises!
An institution!
Renowned and indeed very good wine list ... but expensive. Only one remarkable dish, the rest is just ok. Stuffed atmosphere (jacket compulsory for men). Overall expensive. The house is not worth its 2 * Michelin.
Too expensive for a zero quantity, For 5 we have 8X more
Magnificent location, superb decor, the delicious meal and the service really reflect this 2-star restaurant.
Excellent! A sumptuous mix of flavors and textures. Very pleasant staff.
First time in this establishment and it is a real discovery. A feast both for the eyes and for the taste buds, the staff is very pleasant and the cuisine a delight, highly recommended
Very nice restaurant, both in the setting, the quality of the service and the quality of the flavors!
Taillevent was amazing and I think they deserve their 3rd star again.
It was a wonderful experience. I want to visit other Paris restaurants.
The weekday lunch Le Menu costs 104 euros and includes amuse, appetizers, mains, desserts and even paired wines. This is probably the most reasonably priced restaurant in Paris with two or more stars. Toasted glass of champagne cost about 20 euros.
There were 3 types of appetizers and main dishes, and 2 types of desserts.
I was really impressed with the fact that if it was seafood, then the soup stock was mushrooms, and if it was mushrooms, the mushroom stock was firm. The cheese bread was also very good.
Sponge cake was very alcoholic, so if you are not good at it, you may want to avoid it by asking the clerk for an explanation. On the other hand, Eclair was very delicious.
Top-notch cuisine with impeccable service and a lot of friendliness
I selected this restaurant for my 40th Birthday. It was the absolutely best choice I ever made. The taste of the food was like nothing your palate has taste before - leaving you with burst of flavors for your palate to discover.
Service was OUTSTANDING!
Food presentation was SUPERB!
Food taste INCREDIBLE!
Interior Design MAGNIFICIENT
Thank you - for an amazing Birthday dinner
The meal was an amazing experience, although the menu was on the complex side, we finally figured out a way to get what we wanted. The wine list was, of course, exceptional, and we were able to find a modestly priced (~200 euros) bottle of truly excellent wine. The only snafu was our waiter quite accidentally spilled a bottle of champange and some got on my suit jacket and a bit on my pants. They were so much more mortified over this than I was- and I must say, they cleaned it all up literally in 20 or 30 seconds, tops, rolling back the table and completely replacing our entire service- I really could have cared less. I suppose some of their clientele wiould't have felt that way as they gave us a different waiter! I felt really badly for the guy, accidents happen, and it wasn't like it all ended up in my lap. Sometimes adversity shows the true mettle of an organization and the way they handled this showed just how professional and dedicated they were.
Anyway, I will recommend the cheese plate, it was the best one we had in all of France. Be prepared to spend your whole evening there, things move at the right pace for you to enjoy everything fully and your reservation gets you the table for the whole night. If you don't do the cheese plate, do Crepes Suzutte, which seemed to be their specialty as most of those dining around us ordered this and the crepes are flamed in brandy right at your table. They smelled delicious! Even so, the cheese plate was truly epic, just an incredible assortment of flavors mild and strong. Worth the visit!
Very good experience, 5-course menu not too heavy, well balanced and varied.
One of my favorite restaurants.
We go there once a year with friends, the establishment offering an excellent value for money lunch menu.
The service is very professional, fair and caring. We also appreciate the very friendly director.
A large and beautiful house!
Beautiful setting and service, kitchen level it was very simple, but good. It should be put into perspective because we have priced lunch at noon. The menu offers much more elaborate dishes.
so for a star, I was not a fan, especially the service.
Magnificent restaurant, one of the Parisian palaces, both for its very cozy decor and for its exceptional cuisine absolutely worthy of a three Michelin macaroons.
The food and wine pairings are absolutely perfect.
The extremely professional staff put themselves perfectly within reach of customers and are very attentive.
A great renowned chef who will soon be able to raise this restaurant to the top of French cuisine again.
A great culinary experience!
The Art of French Service has its Excellence, Fabulous.
A Chef Expert in the Art of the Alchemy of the Senses.
Wonderful meal and a fantastic, unforgettable instant.
Excellent restaurant with tradition and know-how. Thank you!
Service at the top but as far as the cuisine is concerned, we really wonder where the past glory of this establishment has gone ... Approximate cooking, variable seasonings and too little creativity ... All that for the price of a ** * from which we are very very far ...
Sad to see an institution in such a slump ...
hands down the best service that i have ever received. the staff attended to our every need. the food was excellent and the presentation was remarkable. reservations were relatively easy to obtain. i would highly recommend this place to experience dining at it's finest.
The French high class experience. Old style but connecting with the past is worth it sometimes
This restaurant is an institution! It was the first 3 macaroons I went in 22 years ago and my little finger tells me that he will win them back. He deserves it. Very attentive staff, magical surroundings, breathtaking cuisine: all the ingredients are there ...
An institution. One of the best Parisian restaurant despite the sad absence of Mr. Vrina.
Exceptional, fabulous deserves 3 Michelin macaroons.
Refined surroundings, impeccable service, beautiful silverware, a plate to dream about. Thank you to all the very professional team
Very pleasant as always, except that we miss Jean Marie!
Still one of the best fine dining restaurants in Paris Even after my 3rd time there, the food remains just as impressive!
Excellent food. Tastes, colors and flavors reach new heights. And no complaints about the service. I'll be back
