My first experience of this restaurant under the air of the new Chef David Bizet.
We came for the Les 5 menu by Yann de Queffelec.
An unforgettable memory by the farandole of exquisite and mastered dishes.
The food and wine pairings were precise and sensible.
The chef s dishes have a rare balance.
The land and the sea were really at their quintessence ...

I invite you to stop at this address. One of the biggest Parisian houses.

I LOVE everything about this place. Very sophisticated somm for their reputation for having the 2nd largest wine list in the world. Waiting was done with a nice and professional manner. Our waiter's english was also elegant and perfect. He was so nice that he even volunteered to kneel down to take our photos.

"OK. We admit it. This is an ""American"" 3 Star (referring to the majority of your dining companions) as my French friends say, but the quality of food and level of service compare equally with Alain Ducasse and other 3 stars. The Langoustines are an excell"

The food is obviously fantastic. Service, ambiance, etc also great. However, we did not find the total experience justified the price. We enjoy fine dining and don't mind paying for it. The price to value proposition was not there.

My American family had the best experience here. We were wow d with the service, food, & wine. The staff go above & beyond to make this the ultimate fine dining experience. I highly recommend getting the sampler of everything. I did not know levels of this food greatness existed. I never thought I was going to each pigeon before but even it was incredibly good. I will never forget it. Bravo!!!

Renowned and indeed very good wine list ... but expensive. Only one remarkable dish, the rest is just ok. Stuffed atmosphere (jacket compulsory for men). Overall expensive. The house is not worth its 2 * Michelin.

It was a wonderful experience. I want to visit other Paris restaurants.
The weekday lunch Le Menu costs 104 euros and includes amuse, appetizers, mains, desserts and even paired wines. This is probably the most reasonably priced restaurant in Paris with two or more stars. Toasted glass of champagne cost about 20 euros.
There were 3 types of appetizers and main dishes, and 2 types of desserts.
I was really impressed with the fact that if it was seafood, then the soup stock was mushrooms, and if it was mushrooms, the mushroom stock was firm. The cheese bread was also very good.
Sponge cake was very alcoholic, so if you are not good at it, you may want to avoid it by asking the clerk for an explanation. On the other hand, Eclair was very delicious.

The meal was an amazing experience, although the menu was on the complex side, we finally figured out a way to get what we wanted. The wine list was, of course, exceptional, and we were able to find a modestly priced (~200 euros) bottle of truly excellent wine. The only snafu was our waiter quite accidentally spilled a bottle of champange and some got on my suit jacket and a bit on my pants. They were so much more mortified over this than I was- and I must say, they cleaned it all up literally in 20 or 30 seconds, tops, rolling back the table and completely replacing our entire service- I really could have cared less. I suppose some of their clientele wiould't have felt that way as they gave us a different waiter! I felt really badly for the guy, accidents happen, and it wasn't like it all ended up in my lap. Sometimes adversity shows the true mettle of an organization and the way they handled this showed just how professional and dedicated they were.

Anyway, I will recommend the cheese plate, it was the best one we had in all of France. Be prepared to spend your whole evening there, things move at the right pace for you to enjoy everything fully and your reservation gets you the table for the whole night. If you don't do the cheese plate, do Crepes Suzutte, which seemed to be their specialty as most of those dining around us ordered this and the crepes are flamed in brandy right at your table. They smelled delicious! Even so, the cheese plate was truly epic, just an incredible assortment of flavors mild and strong. Worth the visit!

One of my favorite restaurants.

One of my favorite restaurants.
We go there once a year with friends, the establishment offering an excellent value for money lunch menu.
The service is very professional, fair and caring. We also appreciate the very friendly director.
A large and beautiful house!

Beautiful setting and service, kitchen level it was very simple, but good. It should be put into perspective because we have priced lunch at noon. The menu offers much more elaborate dishes.

Magnificent restaurant, one of the Parisian palaces, both for its very cozy decor and for its exceptional cuisine absolutely worthy of a three Michelin macaroons.
The food and wine pairings are absolutely perfect.
The extremely professional staff put themselves perfectly within reach of customers and are very attentive.
A great renowned chef who will soon be able to raise this restaurant to the top of French cuisine again.
A great culinary experience!

Service at the top but as far as the cuisine is concerned, we really wonder where the past glory of this establishment has gone ... Approximate cooking, variable seasonings and too little creativity ... All that for the price of a ** * from which we are very very far ...

Sad to see an institution in such a slump ...
