An extraordinary experience for Afternoon Tea!! Beautiful setting, incredible service and unbelievably delicious High Tea. Truly the best I've ever had! Loved that they have a child's tea - - my toddler loved it!

One of the most amazing place in Canada. Great food (Chef Jason is really making the most of the local ingredients and its garden), great staff, beautiful space. I only have good things to say about the place. It is always a joy to go back.

My spa experience was very pleasant!

Most of what you need are already provided: a bathrobe, flipflops, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton pads, a hair dryer, and even a razor. You can keep your valuables in the secured locker. There are massage rooms, a manicure/pedicure room and a spa lounge on the second floor. On the main level, there is a sauna, steam room and whirl pool tub. In this area, you can get a reusable water bottle and get cold, hot or carbonated water or you can purchase alcohol. There is a little terrace area with deckchairs where you can sunbathe. I'd recommend that you bring a bathing suit, so you can rest between the whirl pool tub, steam room and sauna. You should also arrive a little early to get changed and wait in the lounge area if you have a massage appointment. Overall, it is a small spa with one tub, one sauna room and one steam room, but you can combine your massage session with the rest. Everything seemed to be clean and well organized, and staff were friendly and professional.

Great stay, including Tasting Menu and massages. Property is large and good to explore.

Langdon Hall is a beautiful facility with friendly and helpful staff. I went there today with a friend for high tea and we both commented that L.H. seems to be resting in its Laurels, though. Our truffle was slimy like a wad of icing with so much chocolate dust it actually caused a plume of brown dust when picked up and caused my friend to cough...no fork was given and it most definitely was not finger food consistency. The macaron was slimy goo inside showing it was obviously improperly baked, and my raspberry chocolate scone was still somewhat raw, doughy and undercooked. One of the little petit fours was very, very dry and tasted stale, and another little lemon biscuit was hard like biscotti and hurt our teeth so much so we both left it on our plates. We had both thought the server said it was supposed to be a shortbread? The tea was delicious; we would have loved the server to come around to ask for more hot water but we never got a check in from a server until the bill was brought to us. The savouries were just so so.

I ve lived for years in the UK and enjoyed many a fine tea at beautiful estates, restaurants and hotels. Today was not to par.

I also had an impromptu tour of the grounds with an eye towards booking a future wedding, but the room they showed me had been just set up for a future meeting, and it had such heavily spiked carpeting it turned me off.

Overall, still a lovely ambience and generally well kept facility. Friendly staff. But for the price, I d expect the food to be excellent and today it was not.

In past visits everything was top notch. Not sure why the blip today. Perhaps $100+ for tea for two would have been better spent on brunch at the Cambridge Mill (with Mimosas included!) for the same price.

Went for breakfast with my entire family for my father's 81st birthday. Was a great breakfast Wonderful House and wonderful staff had a great time. Thanks everyone for making it special

Gorgeous country side retreat. Afternoon tea was good but expected with that price range.

Nice hotel, very good service, very nice rooms with a "real" fire for once. Nice and attentive staff, room-a-manger and bar very nice but a little kitchen "overrated" and a little limited choice for a restaurant of this size. Expensive, but hey it's a Relais & Chateaux, so it's normal! Would stay again in the summer to enjoy the gardens and pool.

Attended Langdon Hall for a wedding. The staff was amazing and the food was great! Fantastic venue

So the chef won Iron Chef Canada.... went for supper. The foie gras was salty. The lobster gelee was adequate. Two pieces of lobster were chewy; one was perfectly cooked. I asked for espresso corto... it was bought in a aperitif glass with no sugar. I called re: dress code and told semi formal. When seated, a group of people came in... you guessed it dressed in jeans. I asked the sever what gives . She just shrugged. If you re going to have a dress code, enforce it... or are you one of those pretentious restaurants that just pays lip service to dress codes. I guess the inmates have taken over the prison....so disappointing....

I go annually for a retreat. The rooms and food are amazing.

The Half Day Retreat Spa package is a great way to spend a day. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The new spa is nicely appointed with a steam room, hot tub and numerous lounges for relaxing. I would highly recommend partaking in a Spa service.

Best country hotel i've been to in Canada. Amazing service, nostalgic decor and amazing scenery around.

Went dining twice in the space of two weeks with guests. Staff in both the dining hall and the Tavern were well trained and highly organised.
The Guests and myself really enjoyed the experience and were amazed at the good value for money that we were offered!

Poor service at the bar and in the restaurant, very tired bedrooms, expensive and disappointing.

Spa was kind of small and sauna was not hot. Massage was great!

Not worth the money....just an average Inn with average service...save your money and go somewhere else.

We had our wedding there on October 5, 2018. It was amazing. We love the food. Our guests enjoyed it a lot. Tiffany the coordinator has been very helpful as well. We love everything there.

What can I say? Give me a cozy robe, delicious wine and food and I'll be happy. They know how to be attentive yet you have your privacy and intimacy of the setting.

Beautiful grounds and delicious food! Rooms are a mix of modern and classic which some might like. Love the wooden fireplace in the room. There were a couple of minor oversights during our meals but nothing that couldn't be rectified by bringing it to the staff's attention.

While the setting is lovely, it is average compared to other Spa such as St Anns' or the Royalton . I personally will not return as I feel I was treated poorly due to my race. I have visited this place 3 times to give it a chance. Once for High Tea ( which they have no clue about). I suggest some proper research. Another for lunch with colleagues and the receptionist in the restaurant, was very cold and unwelcoming. Most recently I went as a birthday treat from friends for a massage ( which was very below average, again a demonstration of sub-standard training). The massage therapist asked me if this "was my very first massage"??? I thought what an odd question, but really did not want to waste my time with negativity. But a very condescending question to ask a client. Rooms at $1000 per night does not ensure class, it simply means you are a business interested in profit and aiming to secure these by pretending to be something you are NOT. Marci Ien, CTV news reporter, recently did an interview on racial profiling, interestingly enough Marci was also at the spa that day. I might reach out to her for a follow up story.

I'd give Langdon Hall 6 stars if I could! What an amazing place! The hotel room, the staff, the dinner, the breakfast - everything was superb! Many times when you go to a hotel or a resort, even if 95% of things are excellent, there are those one or two things that could have been better. Well, I just couldn't find any this time. It was all simply perfect. Highly recommended!!

Always have such a wonderful experience at Langdon Hall. They ultimate getaway from everyday life. I had the pleasure of experiencing the luxurious spa services. Such an escape from the everyday life. Had a wonderful lunch at the main house. The food & service, is always impeccable. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Gorgeous grounds. Rooms are big, quaint and have everything you need including a fireplace. The food and service here is also excellent. Everything is top quality including the hair dryer. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Afternoon tea was wonderful! Temperature of the room was a little warm, but it was a hot day.

Tonight we went for supper at Wilk s Bar. Somewhat disappointed as we were expecting much more from a so called 5 establishment . The food was overly salted. Do not recommend the Bar Green Salad . Overly salted. Pasta Mista was a great disappointment, taste was not good. The fireplace in the bar backed up, smoke causing sore eyes and clothing to smell like smoke. Probably won t go back for dinner.

Impeccable meal, service and settings! Always a go to favorite for mini retreat outside Toronto. Highly recommended!

me and my wife were looking forward to spending mothers day and celebrate my wifes birthday and it was 3 hrs before we were able to finish dinner for starters then we went up to our room and both got really really sick from the food and we tried to have a shower after because we both had just threw up and there was no running water in the bathroom at all we couldn't even flush the toilet full of puke down or brush are teeth then after about 2 hrs it finally came back on but there was no hot water!!!! and if this wasn't bad enough we had a ten am massage booked before our departure and they wrote down the wrong day and offered us to come back a few days later to make it up to us which didn't help our situation. as we had the baby sitter only for the night. so needless to say it was a disaster of a nights stay at a very reputable hotel and spa. and I had told the staff at the front desk about our whole ordeal and they kind of just shrugged it off and said sry there wasn't anything we can do.....VERRY UNHAPPY!!!!!!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK

One of the most unique and special get-away quiet locations in the area. Always good for the picky visitor and a nice quiet evening with good food and some ambiance - winter or summer.

I've attended to friends wedding at this place. Before i talk about the inside of the place, i have to give props to attention to detail including outside. The road quality driving into the place is super smooth and high quality pavement. Honestly I've not seen such a good quality road pavement in Toronto. The wedding ceremony take place at the outdoor but with roof top. Place is very clean and feels warm. Definitely a memorable place to have a wedding in. Food quality is good, and the staff are very helpful. According to the groom, the management had been very helpful and flexible to make the wedding go smoothly. Definitely one of the best wedding I've been to.

Quite a gem of a place that is not in the GTA. The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable with the food menu. The food was amazing and the combinations used was not usually what I expected, pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to dine there again. There was one thing that kind of bugged me was the road leading into the compound, it was in shambles. It definitely needed new paving for such a lovely and beautiful place.

I will never be able to eat another hamburger again. The Wilks burger was out of this world. Also the staff were very pleasant and polite. I would eat here every night if I could!

I've been more than a few times and it is never anything less than a stunning experience from start to finish. The staff are warm, friendly and knowledgeable and the food, well let's just say it'll ruin all other restaurants for you!

The garden and surrounding grounds are beautiful. The restaurant offers creative flavours, local ingredients and an excellent, expensive, wine list.

It was amazing once again. The food was over the top and just a delight to be there again.

Country luxury with spa, pool and walking trails. Upsacle dining or bar menu, both menus have some incredible choices that taste amazing.

Well worth the added cost, spend the day relaxing in the hot tub, sauna and patio area. Best manicures and pedicures with mom toxic polish that you get to take home!

Phenomenal tasting menu in a beautiful setting. We had a tour of the garden before dinner and tasted many of the garnishes that accompanied our dinner. Absolutely spectacular.

What a magical Christmas! We arrived on the eve of Christmas, staying Christmas day into boxing day. The meals by chef Bangerter were beyond exceptional, the decor in the home and throughout the property was Instagram worthy! Our room was decorated with a 7 foot live tree , complete with full decorations. We were welcomed with carolers and a gift package within the room with beauty essentials, goodies and more! A hand signed welcome card from the owners, and Santa was even on premises! Every last detail was taken care of and special goodies were brought to our room every night. My 10 month old baby girl had her very first Christmas! A crib was brought in for her with bedding , and specialty baby puree was made for her during dinner. I must give a special mention to Charlie, Charlie made sure we always had everything we needed. She was my goto for anything and everything her attention to detail and hospitality was remarkable, she was amazing! We will definitely be back next Christmas again, this has now become tradition. I can't say enough about how truly perfect Christmas at Langdon really was.

Went there for company meetings! Service is fantastic, rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Meeting rooms are spacious. Good variety of food options for meals. I would recommend for a romantic weekend or self pampering.

You get what you pay for.
Quite expensive, great service.
