Some classes are great some classes are terrible, due to many factors including low quality course content. Some lecturers are fantastic and others are just okay. TAFE often lacks communication with students regarding class time changes at the start of the term, I had one pretty bad experience where not even the IT Office could tell me when the class was, I got told all these different times that weren't correct. Keep in mind I am studying IT, I can't speak for other study areas.

80% of TAFE lecturers are simply readers. They dont teach they just read what you should have already read yourself. Their teaching skills are non existent and their communication skills are very very poor - they need to tick their check boxes and are never present in the process

This is probably the best haircut that I've had in years. Just the head massage was worth the small fee. I would definitely recommend using TAFE if you're on a tight budget. Especially since there is no sacrifice to quality.

Waste of money and time doing Cert III in Beauty S...

Waste of money and time doing Cert III in Beauty Services. My daughter started doing this course 5 weeks ago and it was nothing but a disappointment. First of all, this course is spread over 12 months, 2 days per week, doing 2 subjects only and they call it "full time". If we would know that this course was only 2 days per week, we would never consider enrolling. My daughter enquired on the Information Night about how many days per week she will be attending classes and she was told that "they did not know". With such a gap between the classes, without many clients, it begins to become boring. Secondly, the make up lecturer for some reason acted intimidating and unwelcoming towards my daughter and she had leave the course. I would not recommend this course to anyone. Please do your research better than we did, before enrolling into this disappointing and below average standard course.

Fantastic, English department is amazing with a lot of experienced lectures who can give everything to speak English fluently, read and write whatever you like and enjoy listening to English.
Thanks everyone especially Anne, Veronica and Julie.

Studied an IT course at Tafe SA Adelaide. Content was good, as were the lecturers. However, their IT service desk is virtually impossible to get a hold of most of the time.

I have been trying to resolve an issue for over a year now - and despite having finished my course I am unable to get parchment due to this outstanding issue. I have been told ad-nausium for over a year that they are 'onto it', yet the issue remains unresolved. It doesn't take a year. It shouldn't take a month.

Their service staff seem to have no clue (on the rare occasion you can actually get hold of them), and are about as helpful as a box full of gum nuts. I'm at a loss as to how they get anything done besides (of course) enrolling new students.

What a joke.

I ve only ever had to go in for a few lessons due to COVID but the staff and facilities are impeccable

Would recommend for anyone looking for a short course with lots of support
Also great for people with disabilities
Parking is a bit expensive but you can get a bus going past Currie street almost anywhere from Adelaide

Would recommend

The office only being open until 5pm doesn't work when important documents need to be signed and I work 8-5pm myself.

What's the point of catering for full timers with night courses, when your office is only open for business hours?
