Table Bay Hotel Review

Well, I have been at The Table Bay Hotel 5 times in my life.
Each time I go there, I feel special.

Warm-hearted smiles upon entry.
The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful theme.

CUISINE:
I don't really like some hotels food, but each dish from The Table Bay Hotel is exquisite!

With a wide variety of activities, you will be sure to enjoy your experience.

This is my happy place. But big but... They need to look at their teapots which are too big and they fill them too much... how do we get a strong cup of tea then?

Spectacular setting and one of the best breakfasts in the world. Unfortunately, the staff is disorganized, sometimes at the limit of education. Too many people too many nationalities and the Italians are poorly considered. Exaggerated rooms with unclassifiable style drops for a 5-star luxury.
The location is great but if you have to go to the city center you need a taxi: it's far away.
Check out to the limit of the unbelievable with fridge bar control while you are still there finishing your luggage.
Light blowing missing light bulbs and bathroom cleaned but without towels etc etc ... Mah!

My Favourite hotel in Cape Town. Built in the beginning of the waterfront and connected to the Waterfront Shopping Mall. Excellent breakfasts - Fast internet. Great for late evening drinks overlooking Cape Town Harbour.

The hotel is super centrally located on the waterfront. Plenty of friendly staff, a sumptuous breakfast buffet. The rooms are well equipped. Any time!

The room with a sea view is the best!
Hotel amenities are great!

And I looked forward to breakfast!
There are many kinds, and you can enjoy oysters from the morning!
I got raw oysters and I couldn't count how many I had.

The fruit is also fresh and you can enjoy breakfast in the morning. Take a shuttle bus to Table Mountain, or if you want to shop, you are directly connected to the waterfront.

We were able to enjoy Cape Town in a very nice environment (^^)

I have tea at The Table Bay Hotel at least twice a week. I love the 2pm piano sessions. I enjoy having my meetings and quiet thinking time here. Its becomes habit to go to the Table Bay Hotel. When I am in city centre or waterfront I MUST go to the Table Bay Hotel.

A lovely hotel with an incredible spa. Very friendly and welcoming employees. I will definitely be back. Location is great and very central to the waterfront!!

The hotel is in the right place. Restaurants for "4".

Hotel with great design, conveniently located, great views. From the hall there is access to the shopping center. Restaurant in C grade: food, as in the dining room, everything seems to be of high quality, but you won t get any pleasure. The waiters are unfriendly. Somehow they are all on their own wave and do not really pay attention to visitors. Very helpful staff in the reception area. Near the hotel there is a promenade where restaurants are an order of magnitude higher in quality.

Do not book this hotel!!!Should be rated a 1 star overall . Rooms with ocean view can be defined as rooms with parking lot Totally mos leading!!Old style rooms which need an upgrade . Tvs do not work. After they changed my room took them an hour to get my bags
Receptionists are un friendly. The guest relations manager did try to make an effort, however it was not good enough for the horrid service. Would not recommend to anyone. If you are looking for truly luxury book the one and only hotel close by.

A large 5 star hotel with 5 star prices. Rooms I have stayed in have always been immaculate. One of the better hotels in the waterfront but for me (my personal point of view) it is just too large.

A wonderful experience, truly breathtaking!! The breakfasts were out of this world and the service was perfect!! I loved having such close access to the waterfront . One little thing was that the King size beds don't have sheets that fit the mattress, so you wake up sleeping on the mattress in the morning and there is no mattress saver between your mattress and the badly fitting sheet. An extra pillow would also have been nice to have.

There is only one word to describe this establishment, and that is WOW!

Excellent service. Outstanding views of the Table mountain or the ocean. Easy access to V & A Waterfront. Close by most amenities. Wonderful world class restaurants. Great decor and ambience. The pool area is amazing. Camelot Spa is a great treat at the hotel. The hotel is well suited to having children. The foyer is very elegantly designed.

Clean, classically furnished rooms. Good WIFI, very good breakfast, adequate fitness area, weak SPA

Good lication. However sometimes they not refilling the shampoos or necessary things that you need it in the bathroom. Also I asked them to bring the adapter because the rooms adapter But nobody brings it then I asked the reception also no responses.

Amazing and luxurious hotel! Clean and well taken care of! Ocean front view and of Table Mountain as well! Highly recommend it and very comfortable beds and amazing rooms! I will return to this hotel when in Capetown again!!!!!

What an awesome hotel! My favourite and I can highly recommend it!!

One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. The location was picturesque, the waterfront just amazing. The view was like something from a fairy tale. The room I stayed in was large and the bed and bedding extremely comfortable. Staff were top-notch, knowledgeable and friendly.

The breakfast buffet was out of this world. Bar none, the best I have ever had. Huge selection of western and local delights, and the most gorgeous and delicious fruits. I had a small issue on getting Halal Certified food, but the wide selection of fruits and vegetables on offer made up for that. The freshly pressed juices were amazing.

Lovely place, but for the price of High Tea i didn't find the desserts to be that great.

Everything is perfect. The breakfast is a luxury, super varied and everything of excellent quality.

A wonderful, comfortable and luxurious hotel, which emerges from the context of the city for its majesty; easily identifiable from Table Mountain (1000 mt). The hotel is located at the Cape Town harbor, where you can find everything: the mega mall, the Ferris wheel, the aquarium and the many restaurants and pubs full of people and life. A show!

The restaurant accommodated every dietary request, and suggested options that were not on the menu to accommodate the person in my group who had dietary restrictions. The quality of food at breakfast was comparable to any Four Seasons Hotel. Hotel staff were helpful.

This hotel is AMAZING! we stayed over for about a week. The service is unbelievable! The staff treat you like royalty! The breakfast buffet in the morning is superb, wide selection and tastes amazing. The hotel rooms are spacious and amazing. It is very expensive, but totally worth it!!

We only dropped in here to use up some time and avoid the rain but had a very pleasant time. We sat in a comfortable lounge in front of fire and were offered a large selection of drinks. Local sparkly wine was very good We were given a good selection of complimentary nibbles. Nice break from the busy waterfront scene.

Best Birthday Ever! Staff were amazing and the food and the service!

The receptionist asked my wife to pay for the stay and my wife thought i haven t paid that in advance. When i asked to refund they said we cannot, you need to speak with duty manager Mr. Darryn. I asked him to refund and he said it is out of my authorization but i will speak to my general manager and he would help in sorting out this problem and please share with me your credit card details to refund. Until now, no one approach me and I believe they will not. So please be careful from this hotel ...

The staff are brilliant!!!!!!!! They really make the hotel. The decor needs to be updated and a few things fixed but it is a friendly place. Well done staff

We had a memorable High Tea at The Table Bay Hotel! It was a wonderful time spent within a grand setting. The service is excellent and the food great! Not to be missed! This is the best Cape Town has to offer!
