Worst company I've worked for hands down. Wouldn't work for them even if they were the last company on the planet. Not even worth the job reference...if anything it makes my CV look bad with having them on it.

Total lack of respect for engineers. To them engineers are just expendables. I wouldn't even recommend my enemy to join this firm. A total joke of a company.

I would like to THANK Rachael and the other guy (missed his name). They have been very helpful specially Rachael who kept me updated. There was leakage issue from my nasty neighbour and T Brown fixed this probably. Please complete job tomorrow and get another 5 star review from me :)

I wish i did not even have to give T brown 1 star. last year from january - February 2017 we had no hot water or heating for 6 weeks. For 6 weeks we had to telephone and book appointments, much of the time no one would turn up. When someone did turn up they would always make an excuse to why it cannot be fixed. The problem originally started with a supervisor coming around and saying we needed a new part and he would order it. They said the wrong part was sent, then people would come around with different parts and there was always a reason why it could not be fixed. When I would phone the T brown call centre, i would always speak to young people and they would laugh at me if i was upset or angry. My mother has a bladder problem and I said we needed water for Hygiene reasons and they just laughed at us. every day and every week for 6 weeks i tried to get them to fix it. After we threatened legal action about the situation. A man came around fiddled with it for 5 minuets and it has been fixed ever since. since then we have discovered gas leaking from 3 different places and my mum has been hospitalised with breathing problems. when the gas leak was fixed we felt so much healthier.

Didn't have this company come out to help us with anything but you need to teach your drivers how to drive!! On the M20 and some prat in a T Brown Group van (number plate starting with 'LV15') kept undertaking drivers and then proceeded to NOT read the lane closed sign. Based on the other reviews and the driving habit I have just witnessed this company has A LOT of problems to sort out. If you can't be bothered to drive properly or fix boilers properly then maybe you shouldn't be working in this sort of field of work.

If (I stress this point) someone turns up, the engineers are mostly very pleasant and try to get the job done. Unfortunately, getting to that point feels like climbing Everest in flip-flops. I've had no consistent hot water and heating now for around 6 weeks, have taken 5 days off work in that time, 2 of which no one turned up for. I'm leaving this review as I'm currently off work waiting in for a booked appointment, having just been called to ask if I can reschedule... Utter nonsense

I had a good experience with the Engineer who recently serviced my boiler. Firstly he showed me respect by wiping his shoes before he entered the house. He then made all the appropriate tests and was polite and friendly. He had arrived early so I didn't have to hang around all day either.

Why are lambeth council still awarding the contract to this firm.? It beggars belief. I have been waiting over 1 year for a fault on my boiler to be repaired. Dispite numerous phone calls job reference numbers and no turn up appointments..blames lambeth by notsending e mails in time the work still has not been done .

This company is an utter disgrace. My aunt is 90 years old and her boiler packed up during the recent cold weather. That was 12 weeks ago and it is still not fixed. Further more during this period her gas oven developed a fault and has to be replaced. To install an electric cooker the gas pipe needs to be capped off. She has now been waiting 4 weeks for this to be done without means for cooking. She is forced by her housing association to use T Browns. They have made numerous appointments when either more parts are required, they fail to turn up, or they reschedule without notifying. When they cancel an appointment you are put back on the back of the queue. I would strongly avoid this company. Either they do not understand about customer service or they just dont care, or both. My aunt has suffered a lot of stress for a 90 year old. I have resorted to dealing with this matter through her housing association but it makes no difference. I have been given another appointment, but if this is not fruitful then the next stage will be to take the matter further. This is a disgusting way to treat an old lady.

Last week Dennis came and replaced our toilet, and though it was a really tricky job that had been botched by someone else in the past, he stuck at it until he had solved the problem [old imperial to new metric had been left fitting badly] and now we are very pleased with the result. Also a lovely guy. Today Dean came to sort out the flooring and did another great job, very friendly and helpful, another great guy who did a proper job. Very satisfied customers, thanks.

I often feel like I am starring in my own hidden camera show when being forced to deal with this company. I really feel sorry for the call center staff, I can only imagine the daily abuse they get. If i could give T Brown minus 1 I would. Lambeth Council really need to review this contract - for every 3 appointments made you may have action from 1. Oh but should you miss the appointment you will be threatened with them entering your home - regardless of the fact they may not have attended the 4 previous appointments when you were home.

Its a shame that every time you speak with a person with common sense you are forced to deal with the agency contractors who could not care less.

They finally installed the heating. It has broken down 7x so far. The last engineer who attended was kind enough to give me a basic understanding of the issue. The good news if I do an online 5 min course I will have enough knowledge to qualify for a job as management in T Brown so hope is not totally lost!!!

This dreadful company were expected at my home at 8am yesterday to install a new boiler and full gas central heating. By 9.30am when no one had arrived I rang T. Brown and spoke to a clueless person who said the call out was between 8am and 8pm. I explained it wasn t a breakdown call but a full installation with a definite appointment but it was like talking to a wall. By 11.30 still no sign. Rang again and was told that the engineers had gone to builders stockists to collect boiler etc. Lies, boiler etc had been delivered to my home and were sitting in my living room. 1.30pm I rang again and was told engineer stuck in traffic. The engineers Rob and Dan never did turn up and no one, no one at T. Brown Group could account for their whereabouts or could give a damn that they have not shown up. This really is the most appalling company who absolutely cannot care less about their customers and know as much about customer care as I know about fly fishing......which is nothing. Do yourselves a huge favour and avoid dealing with this company like the plague. I am disgusted with them. I ve given them a one star rating but if I could give minus 5 stars I would.

"This company is the worst I have ever seen in my life, most of their engineers are unqualified they are nothing but fixers. I have been without proper heating and hot water for two years , each day it gets worst. They service my boiler even when it needs a filling loop to recharge the system and turn up after 8 pm each time to work on my boiler, or even say they attend when they never.
Last week new 'filling loop was fitted , it took him over 2 hours to find the main to turn water off, he even wanted to go to the flat above to find my main saying it must be up there, after over 3 hours he was done, he left without checking if my system works. since then my boiler refused to come on leaving my family and I without proper heating but 2 small blow heaters for a large 3 bed flat with a 4 weeks old baby for a week." useless company if you ask.

Worst company ever, don't turn up to appointments, don't even have the courtesy to call to say they are not coming, take 9 visits to fit a small radiator as they bring the wrong parts, and even bring the wrong sized radiator twice after they measured it. I m not happy with this service a member of staff has told lies on me today it was 8.00 in the morning and I was woken up by the door bell a staff member from tbrown came out to do a gas safety check however I was not feeling very well I has a bad stomach pains and I explained to him that I could not let him in because of this he turns around and says he is going to do a non access appointment and i said non access i can t let you in because I am not feeling well and I walked back to my room from the corridor and I got on the phone to tbrown and complained and they said that he said I threatened to pour hot water on him is this person crazy who says they are going to throw hot water on some enginer that I don t even know are this people crazy well I never said this that thought did not even come into my mind so early in the morning this guy is mental

This company is an absolute joke. It is disgusting that they are a monopoly provider for Hyde homes and we have no choice but to use them. They refuse to make narrower appointments than 8am-8pm, impossible for a working person left without heating or hot water. They booked me in without even telling me, trying to gain access to my flat several times before the on site manager at a different company notified me. When I realised, I called T Brown and was assured they had not visited yet, so I went home immediately. They refused to give me the engineers number or notify him that I was 20 min away. When I got back, it transpired that I missed them by 5 minutes and they refuse to come back. They even had my phone number (it took 10 minutes to persuade the phone operator to pass it onto the engineer) but he never bothered to call me. Disgusting and I will have to wait at home again tomorrow.

Appalling, they missed several appointments didn't fix the issue, don't provide any feedback or update on the works. Having said that the thing I found more puzzling is that their customer services representatives (after they checked how many times the company blew it and failed to stand for their commitments) instead of taking an apologetic posture they actually talk to you like if they are working for the most respected and trusted company in the galaxy.

This company is a complete joke, I have no idea how they are still running. Avoid them at all costs. They miss appointments, they don't bother to call as promised. They have left an elderly and disabled man in a house with no central heating for more than a month. They visit our property for repairs to our central heating, have a look at the boiler, pretending to fix it and leave. Its literally a game for them, no work at all is done by them. They have visited 8 times with this one particular issue and taken no action to repair the boiler. This has been going on for years. Look at all the reviews on this page, its a testament to the type of company T brown is. These reviews are piling up, what you gonna do T Brown?

Incompetent and unprofessional. The only reason why this company is still around is because they are somehow miraculously awarded lucrative government (council) contracts - which needs to be investigated because something isn't right here.

I bought an ex-council apartment and was forced to deal with T Brown. They ripped out a heating and hot water system that worked perfectly well, and replaced it with something that doesn't work. The project has been a complete failure (too many complaints) and all works on the estate have been put on hold. This doesn't provide any consolation to the vulnerable people (elderly bed-ridden people and people with young children) who have been left without working hot water and/or heating for months. Personally, my gut feeling is they're just kicking the can down the road and waiting for warmer weather (hoping there'll be less complaints).

T Brown (and the people involved in awarding them these very lucrative council projects) need to be investigated. This isn't just a matter of incompetence and money - they're putting vulnerable people at risk.

This company should be shut down and councils should review there contracts, with the interest of civil tenants in mind. Been without heating and hot water for a week. Had an engineer come out to inform me that they couldn't fix the problem; had to rebook an appointment after two days, which i took a day off work to accommodate. Not only for them to ring me midday, on the day to let me know that they have to cancel it because my appointment was wrongly booked. Totally wasted my time!!. Got no offer of apology or compensation or supplementary supply, nothing other than an appointment offer 5 days after. I have 3 children under 11 as well.

The people in the call centre are totally clueless half the time and very misleading. Every time i asked to speak to a manager, no one is ever seemed to be present and am always promised that someone would call back by the end of the day, and up until now am still waiting. There's never any notes taken so your constantly going round in circles.

Do not use this company at all, it's unprofessional stupid manegar . I applied for commercial gas vacancy thetn theysthey me email for interview I went there and I met the manager I have been told to complete 16 job a day including service and breakdown. I told him sir I am her for commercial gas vacancy not domestic so the commercial vacancy it's gone now havbut wee domestic gas vacancy, I told him tell me something about the vacancy I might take it if good, he told me I have to complete 16 job a day between service and breakdown. I told him sir I am not super man to do this ammount of job unless if you do cowboy job, however I am not interested you wasted my time shame on you and your service then I left his office. I don't recommend this company at all.

if I can just rate it a 0 I will. Today 09/09/2019 they were suppose to come but no one came. We called customer service and told us that we dont have an appointment today and it was on friday 06/09/2019. However we received no notifications, nobody rang our door. Customer.service is bad, we were supposed to be the one angry but instead the person who assisted us name 'Abby' sounded more annoyed and mad at us.

An utter disgrace . My 86 year old mother in law has been left without hot water and heating after an engineer visited to fix the problem well over a week ago. As always the engineer didn't have the part to do the job and left the premises. Subsequent appointments have not been kept. Someone including a supervisor was meant to attend today after my wife had a long conversation voicing her concerns yesterday. No one came. It is now the coldest time of the year. My mother in law has health issues and extremely stressed about all of this. She lives in North London and T.Brown are telling us that they have no one available to deal with the problem. We have had similar problems in the past regarding this company and never truly complained. This is the final straw. We will be contacting out local M.P and our local newspaper today.

I notice that i have to give a star rating just to be able to post this. In reality I would give no star at all.

I had a heating probleme and I had to wait for the enginer up to 1am but nobody came. They says that the enginer couldn't get access to my door. I don't believe on that because I don't have any specific access to my door.( I have a 6 weeks baby in the house) but still nobody came!!! very disappointed.

Very rude customer service , twice they hanged up the phone on me . For the third time in the row they made me to stay at home until 1pm and no one turned up . I have called the customers service last week and i have book an appointment for before 12 pm this is because i am working from 1pm to 5pm . I told your customer service advise to chase the engineer to see if he can turn up in the next half an hour and replyed me with no sorry i cant call him. This company is rubbish they cant fix any problem for long period,i had 5 years boiler how many time they fix it 1 months later another problems on the boiler, they dont even have small copper parts in the vans they have to order and you have to wait for another 48 hours for small copper joint useless if they dont work for council they cant find private jop easly.

Awful customer service, are responsible for my annual gas check, and have attended 2 of 5 appointments. Any complaints to their team seem to be ignored, they say they'll reply within 2-3 days - this was now over 2 weeks ago, and no response. Do not use them if you have any choice!

I had a positive experience with t brown fixing my heating. My engineer Matthew was running late- but worked well beyond the end of his day by 2.5 hours to ensure I was up and running. Both engineers I encountered were friendly, professional and hard working. Good service

They booked me in 4 times already and no one show upand no even a call to let me know,I have to keep calling to trace the repair and make new appointments. Absolute disgrace to deal with. T Brown was hired to fix our water pressure for 8 flats. It has been going on for 4 weeks now and they haven't even come to the site. What they have done is to mark the job as complete. We are now preparing to take legal action against them and Peabody.

My partner has been waiting for these people to repair the boiler for over a week. First man came and the intercom wasnt working so he went away instead of calling, second man came on a Thursday and said it needed a new part and would come back on the Monday, no word from them until he called to find out when the would bring the part. They came the following Thursday and brought the wrong part, then rescheduled for the following Tuesday. Then left a voice message at 12 midday to say they ordered the wrong part and can he reschedule for another day at his convenience. Last week was 2 degree this week 4-8 degree no heating. I am 70 years old and arrived in Australia just before Covid-19 struck, after 50 years in Australia. The Engineer who attended my flat to test and connect the gas, was an extremely patient and helpful young man, who ensured that I was able to understand and operate the thermostat and how, in an emergency, to close off the gas.

Not only was the level of professionalism unparalleled in many years of my working life, involving the USA, Hong Kong and Australia, but his caring attitude was remarkable. This young man is not only a credit to your company, but to himself and his family.

Absolute joke of a company. Have waited in twice now for an engineer to come, once taking time off work and once wasting half my weekend, and both times nobody has turned up. Not even a call to say the engineer won t be coming, I had to chase them up. Would rate zero stars if possible, avoid these cowboys at all costs.

ANY GOOD REVIEWS HERE ARE FAKE-for 5 years straight I called this company out around 7 times each year to fix the pressure on my boiler. To the point where I had to call the people who owned/created the boiler (VAILLANT) and guess what- they said T BROWN are CROOKS! He taught me how to do it myself and since then me and my kids don't need to be cold for nights, days and weekends. Terrible company, HORRIBLE customer service like they just got their auntie to work on the phones. Yuck. Sloppy, low class company run by cowboys

T-Brown are a waste of space. How they are still operational is beyond me. I had to deal with T-Brown for over 20 years and they still can do things right. There lack of communication within the company is non existing and there customer service atrocious. Lambeth need to find a better alternative.

Just had my boiler replaced today along with a coupling for the flute which was rusting away. After inspection of flute I was amazed at how it was left by the engineer (the whole flute completely wrapped in duct tape?) with the rubber casket Not fitted correctly, damaged and hanging off the wall! When asked why it was left like it by the parts department I was told they did not know why the engineer left it like it and have never heard of it being done before and it would have to be inspected by there "safety inspector" resulting in another lost day of wages to me again due to They dont work weekends. There lucky I cant add pictures to this review to show what they've left me with.
