The payment is always on the time and the staff is ready to help you always with everything.
I recommend this company to everyone who wants to love to go to the work.

I have been with Syft since they were just getting set up in London and they've been a great help especially during this time of difficulty given the pandemic circumstances. The company has expanded and as such their resources in dealing with customer services have also undergone significant change. Once you know how best to reach them they are extremely helpful, always going to extra mile until a satisfactory resolution has been reached (shoutout to Hannah and George who run their Socials) .

After 1 day of induction (of course unpaid ) they show you on the application a very busy man who earns 900 pounds a month. They tell you after 5 days you get verified (of course it takes 6-7 days) and after that you waiting for a lot of jobs. after 4 days one job came up for 9.5 pound/ hour 35 miles away from me and the shift was 5 hours.
I gave them a ring to see maybe is something wrong with my app. Guess what? They said hopefully we get busier we just building hour relationships. Wait couple of weeks!!!

I have requested my P45 and was told by Steve I will receive it momentarily. After chasing it up three times via email, I still have not been given an update and still no P45. Please look into case 00167128 and read carefully as I have made some requests. The response time and lack of communication on your end is very poor.

I have been working for Syft almost one year.
Overall quite a good agency with a nice pay rates.
A volume of jobs available vary, from unlimited choice in a festive period to very little on beginning of year.

Unfortanately everything goes as I can expect until one of the clients cancel job that I had been booked for few hours before shift.
It is been now few weeks, lots of emails and few telephones conversations anb still cannot get any compensation from them.
I did stay of the job that day, and stays without any help and money wchich I really needed in that days.
Syft terms and conditions clearly states that you elgible for compensation if client cancel you job in less than 12 hours but they not follow them.
Last email from them left me sad and dissapointed, they said they cannot pay owed me money until the client will be willing to pay...
It is been long time ago, I had seen job offers from the same client and I do not thinks so they willing to pay.

Hopefully I can change you rating in further, when finaly my case resolved

Where to begin with.. I have joined this agency in June and when I started their rating was 4.8 stars.
In less than a year they have dropped 1 star.. Do you think it s weird? No it s not.

These people don t care about you. AT ALL. They have over 14.000 staff now so you can imagine that we are expendables to them. They do dodgy stuff all the time deducting 3/4/5 pounds and they think we won t notice... I guess that much they are missing from their daily stuff. To be honest if you have asked me I was gonna give you my 5 pounds to buy your needs if you are that poor... But nooo these ppl never ask, never have a conversation with you, they just take what is yours without asking.
During Christmas time they set a trap for all of us but they fell in themselves. They started a thing called next day payment so they pay you 70% of your shift next day and the remaining 30% on your next payday.. The only reason they did that is to be able to pay you less from that 30% so they can steal our money easily, like we are fools and we cant calculate or that we will forget because we worked so many shifts. So they overpaid us the first week and then they took that money easily without saying anything.
I have a case that I m asking for my money back since November and when I get a reply , usually once a month, they always say I passed on the payroll team and we will let you know.. I guess that payroll team must be very useless since from November they weren t able to give me a refund.
I have asked to go from the office as well but their ignorance is beyond. The chat people are most of them very rude, have no good knowledge, have never worked in hospitality, they have no idea what being helpful is, except Klara, and of course they just DONT CARE.

Avoid this agency, it s not worth it, they only care about the client, they will never be on your side and they will never take actions on rude/disrespectful/dodgy managers. NEVER

I have asked a lawyer to help me with the money they owe me since they don t respond or pay attention to what I m saying and I would suggest to whoever has a money problem with them to do the same.

Avoid communication with Katie(she s the worst of all), Ade, Katarina , Ben, Stephen, Lilian as they will never understand,help you, or even listen to you. The only person who does is Klara, but she s just one in the crowd right?

Well done Syft from best agency in less that a year you ve turned the worst. 1 star in less than a year? Can t imagine in 1 year. Your downfall has already begun and you know it, even clients do.

I asked for my P45 20days ago and still not a single person from HR could help me. Complete INCOMPETENCE I see here. I've being told they will solve this yesterday. Never happened. I've being told they will send it to me in 10 days after my first email. Never happen. They just don't care. Keep that in mind.

My experience with Syft wasn't so great!
Syft states that it can take up to 7 days for the Verification process to be completed.
but I have been waiting for almost 11 days now, haven't heard anything from them, Nor did i received any emails from the verification team, No any explanation of why the Verification process is delayed.

I have worked with Syft for the past year and I find this is one of the best agencies to work for. They have grown from strength to strength in the past 12 months. Shifts started slow at the start but I guess doesn't this happen with every agency? I had the opportunity to meet so many great people, make some awesome friends and go to various places with all kinds of clientele and improve my skills in many ways. I also love the flexibility of this kind of work and that I do not have to commit to a certain amount of hours. The rating system keeps us motivated and in check, ensuring we provide the best possible service. The staff are really nice and generally understanding. I would recommend it as a supplementary source of income alongside another income (e.g. If you are self-employed and you need a boost in your finances) - and you get paid weekly. I would recommend it to a few friends already.

Worst agency ever,I joined syft in December for extra cash while I was off from my full time job.i attended the induction,While I was there were the staff was rude not professional at all.Booked two shifts and attended them.I received a payslip from them but havent been paid.I keep on contacting them and noone is getting back to me.If I try to call or chat they keep telling me to send an email but I always get no respond.I should have read the reviews before joining them,They seems that they never pay people their money.

If you are dyslexia or any other problem this app is not for you as you will experience no protection. They go by there app and evidence on the app only.

Very rude and not understanding and it s a zero hour contract not recommended if you have a responsibility and family around.

Don t bother. God forbid this is meant to be the future of employment because many people would be unemployed. Because there are so many people using the app, you are very unlikely to get a shift. I have applied to so many shifts and have not gotten them. I think it benefits their actual clients (big companies) rather than the employees. If you ask me, I d say use a different agency. There is no point in having the highest pay if there is no work to get paid for

Not the best app if you actually meed to work. Simply no shifts, they come by like once in a blue moon and their clients are just...rude to manipulative. I booked a shift at rendezvous restaurant in Stamford Brook recently which indicated 7pm to 1am, just to get there and work 2 hours, then got told they aren't as busy as predicted. Like why didn't the syft app indicate the possibility of being sent home after 2 hours? So basically 6 for transport and payment would be just 12 because 9.50 per hour. Would anyone make that choice if they had full facts, to go and work for 12 pounds? Very degrading human treatment to say the least. I'd say rota and Coople are better choices if you want guaranteed work. Right now I'm on Syft I guess just for the sake of being there.

DISGRACEFUL COMPANY. Never have enough staff and when people don't turn up, Syft staff give YOU attitude as if you're an idiot for thinking that staff should turn up for their shifts.

Our account Manager Kelly Wager just had a go at me on the phone because she refused to admit that they were at fault. Apparently because they are based on an app they are allowed to fail customers time and again and so cannot be compared to other temporary worker agencies. They come to your office promising you the world but rarely deliver.

Please do yourself a favour, save your time and your health and find another company.

No doubt they will craft together a wonderful response absolving themselves of any responsibility or wrong-doing but please trust me when I say that they are terrible.

I review very honestly. Syft is one of the worst hospitality agencies in London. You will spend over one day signing up and going to the induction and will need to apply for over 30 shifts to maybe get 1. Absolute waste of time. Do not bother signing up.

However you need to be quick to claim a job otherwise it's gone. The first second you hear the notification, you usually have 20 secs before the job is gone, so make sure to be quick.

Most shifts however like your four hour shifts aren't worth considering the travel and the tax, you make little profit.

This means you're mostly attached to your phone waiting for that golden shift.

They just removed me from the system because my rating fell below 2 stars. I called them to ask what i did wrong and the girl didn't say anything. I didn't seem to notice any unsatisfied employers. If anything, some feedback is important. I also only did four shifts with them.

The most horrible, unprofessional agency I ever worked for!!! They lied to me about getting paid quicker during the Christmas just to get me to work! Then they changed their mind. When asked on their chat every person said something different. I requested two weeks ago a copy of my chats with them in order to pass it on to union, they answering my email with completely different quiries. They have lots of jobs they can not deliver people to so they do everything to make you go to work. Working 6 hours all we got to eat was cookies and water! Not even one hot drink and sandwich! The job very in organised!. They left us for more then 2 hours in cold hall with no seats. We were seating on the floor. I am still awaiting my payment. Absolutely discussing. I will sort them out with union though!

Syft is good for skilled and experienced chef ,best way to get job reqularly try accept whatever job you getting and build a large networks .
Then all the client see your networks wherever you worked ,if you worked more places you will get first preferring on his desk.
From beginning try to be patients and accept the job whatever you get ,then prove there you are the right candidate .

Good idea for those who need flexible hours - great concept. However the enrolment process in the London offices was one of the most patronising experiences I have ever faced. The woman presenting treated interviewees like children, telling people off for saying she was going through the slides too quickly, snarky comments, belittled people to give herself a sense of power.

When being interviewed one on one, the same woman quizzed me on my coffee knowledge (rightly so as I applied for a barista job) yet seemed to test my knowledge on unnecessary things and looked pleased when I couldn t answer. After all of this, I never heard back from them even though I passed all the assessments and answered the majority of her questions right.

At the induction we are told that we get to choose out so called many shifts made available to us .Well I got shift like after few days in offer for 2 different dates and first shift went fine the 2nd one was at a venue which was not properly discribed and tried calling the client ,the live chat never really helps and then at the venue they ask us to wait for an hour in cold and then say over booked and we had to go back .Waste of money and time .Emailed the situation to syft to this haven t gotten no reply instead got an email which says I got a streak .How unprofessional .and that s it .so they got no shifts at all

If you don't want your time wasted then don't bother with this agency. I applied in August and still haven't had a first shift. I wish I could give them no stars at all. There is a low availability on shifts and when I did apply there was no confirmation if I had gotten the job. I have applied for 5-6 different shifts and received no confirmation for a single job whatsoever. Syft don't even have a customer service number so I had to chat to the support team in the app instead. I've been told 3 different things- "lower your pay rate", "wait 24 hours before the start of the shift" and "you've got to wait for the employer to confirm". Such an inconsistent company!! They don't have access to the employers' database so they can't tell you anything about the confirmation until it is booked. Sometimes when I've applied for shifts, they'd disappear once I went back on the app. This is so infuriating because they have a strike policy for cancelling a shift but I've received a notification for a potential strike even though I was told I hadn't been booked in for a job yet. This is company is absolutely ridiculous and a waste of time. I shouldn't have even bothered applying.
