Terrible sales and service especially Tad Shaffer . What a miserable creature that thing is. These people are really shady and untrustworthy. I just wish everyone could understand the type of jackals they are dealing with when they deal with this company.

Friendly folks who are obviously happy to be there...

Friendly folks who are obviously happy to be there and obviously happy to help. Great variety of instruments, many of which you can try out. The facility has a cafeteria, a two story slide, a coffee shop, a discounted instruments room, and a relaxed lounge with a small stage. Fun to see.

Simply the greatest musical instrument retail store / facility experience you can have in the United States of America. There are lots of great music stores all across this great land of ours, but there is only one(1) Sweetwater. You owe it to yourself if you are in the market for gear to take the drive to Ft. Wayne & check it out.

Sweetwater it a very home like and comfortable place it has a vast amount of music equipment of all time it has a diner, and arcade, a warehouse, a cafe club, offices, a used instrument shoppe, a new instrument shoppe and everyone is very nice and very sweet

THE single worst customer service experience of my...

THE single worst customer service experience of my life; I've never had a company (or representative) be less willing to help. I placed an online order at the end of December; I was interested in a more expensive guitar, but I wanted to start with a smaller purchase to dip my toe in the water, so I placed an order for a guitar stand and some strings and picks. $40 total. A full month went by, and I still had not received my order, so I sent an email. No response. I then called their customer service line and spoke with Chris, who said the order had been flagged as fraudulent and cancelled. He did not offer to help resolve it, and couldn't have been more apathetic. I asked why they hadn't even bothered to contact me to confirm the order before cancelling, or at least notify me that it had been cancelled, and he said that where the fraud is as "blatant and obvious" as it is here, they don't even bother. Telling a customer who has both emailed and called that their order was blatantly fraudulent without EVER trying to confirm is both ridiculous and rude. After what felt like a lot of arm-twisting, he finally agreed to look into why it had been flagged and said he would call me back and help me place another order. At this point, I was still naive enough to think this was a miscommunication and was willing to try again. Never called me back. A few days later, I followed up AGAIN via email. No response many days later. Truly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had been recommended to them by a friend who has bought a lot from them, but even he couldn't believe it and won't be burdening them with further business. Maybe they only care about someone they know is spending a lot of money without realizing that's how you build customer trust. For a company claiming "unmatched customer service," what they fail to mention is that it's unmatched because it's so bad.

I admit it, I used to be a fan of competitors of Sweetwater and online sources that offered things cheaper. I realized i didn't get the support I needed when it came to questions and concerns. One day I went to Sweetwater in Fort Wayne, IN. I have not went anywhere else to get my pro audio equipment since. Whether it be in person or online, Sweetwater will always be my #1 source for anything I need for my business. I went in yesterday needing a piece of equipment but had questions about the best way to apply it. The young man I asked was not 100% certain so he had me talk with Chris Jett. Chris went out of his way to find the answer for me. The staff is ALWAYS great. I bought an item once and decided to return it because I didn't ask questions I should've asked beforehand. There were absolutely no issues even though I had opened the box. I cannot say enough about Sweetwater. They have everything you need. The campus is huge and if you're into music then you could spend the majority of the day just visiting. I LOVE SWEETWATER!!!! They set the standard in every aspect of everything music related!!! No one else comes close.

Would highly recommend Sweetwater! We had never heard of this company and was skeptical on buying our son a set of drums for his birthday online but we crossed our fingers and done it anyway. The very next day we received a phone call from Dan from Sweetwater letting us know that they received our order and that the shipment was in progress.That really eased our mind receiving a phone call from them. On top of that, we received his drum set two days earlier then what the email stated. My son was sooooo excited and now playing them as I type. We will definitely be buying more products from Sweetwater in the future!

I ordered a Yamaha Psr-A3000 back in 4/19 was told...

I ordered a Yamaha Psr-A3000 back in 4/19 was told the item is out of stock and that the manufacturer is gonna be shipping it. Estimated delivery was the first week of June. Now it s almost the end of the second week of June and I m still waiting for an update. Checking my order status everyday! Sometimes multiple times per day and still says Waiting on items I m a person that s all about first impression. Sales rep seemed promising when he texted me saying that ETA s are accurate. But apparently they are not. Of course they took the money for it and I m still waiting on a response from my sales rep since he stated that they requested an updated ETA from Yamaha and Yamaha still didn t give an updated ETA. I m frustrated and running of patience!

I have bought 95% of my music gear from these guys over the past 10 years. Their customer service is the BEST!!! Friendly, knowledgeable, and not afraid to tell me when they don't have an immediate answer to my question but always able to GET the answer by end of day. When gear arrives at my office, it's packaged to survive a full on missile attack! Sweetwater is not afraid to spare a little extra expense to ensure that my investments are well protected during transport and for that I'm eternally grateful! I've had the amazing privilege to visit the Sweetwater store and was amazed that even on a minimally staffed Saturday, someone dropped what they were doing and gave my wife and I the full blown, VIP tour. It's so refreshing to work with a music retailer that truly understands what customer service is all about; not to mention they're able to get the best price on 99.99% of anything pro audio you can think of!

Absolutely hands down the best company I've ever dealt with online. Customer service is superb, best prices on the bass I wanted, excellent communication. I would highly recommend to anyone!!! A+++

I discovered this awesome store three years ago. To date I have spent thousands of dollars at this store.
Nothing but high marks for them in every category.
Except today!!!
I was interested in talking to the person I had dealt with before, I kept his business card, but that person didn t return my call.
I called back and asked for just anyone. I talked to a Mike.
I told him the gear and deal I wanted. No problem I can make that happen he assured me. A few emails went back and forth about confirmation numbers etc. in a short time frame then just before anything was finalized I don t hear from him. That s odd I think, So I called the store. They said he left for the day. This is barely before noon.Why wouldn t he let me know that he was leaving instead of leaving me high and dry midstream? I called yet again asked for someone else from the eager -to - help receptionist. But she gave me someone upstairs who couldn t help me and told me to call back for someone downstairs. Mind you I m at my own place of work. So later at the end of the day 5:35 pm the original guy I didn t get a hold of calls me. I was with a customer myself and asked if he could call me right back in 5-10 min. he said yes. But he never did. I thought I ll call the store one more time. I live two hours away. Told that guy of my disappointing day with them. He said he could help. The deal made with the earlier guy flew right out the window as this last guy said there was no way I was going to get what I wanted for the price I was told by Mike that I could. This last guy, Tim, said I d have to pay the price as marked maybe less five bucks. Needless to say I didn t buy anything.
I was dumb founded. What a way to end this already horrible experience with Sweetwater via emails and phone calls on this Thursday 8/27/20.

Not as good as it used to be, it's like the people...

Not as good as it used to be, it's like the people running it (not just Chuck, the whole corporate team) have been drifting away from serving everyone with equal care and attention and are now much more focused on how to make the most money possible with the least sacrifice or even potential sacrifice. Maybe it was a facade to begin with and I was duped but I don't think that. I think Chuck wants everyone to be happy but doesn't know how to get there.

I have purchased several times now and not only are the product's Top Notch so is the customer service. If you order from this place you won't be disappointed. T.J. Jackson is amazing his knowledge and overall helpfulness is among the best I have ever seen.

Great selection of top name instruments, especially electronic keyboards, synthesizers and pianos. Helpful staff. I bought a dulcimer case from them and they even sent me a thank you note to my address in Michigan a couple of weeks later.

If you love and make music, this is the place to go! More importantly is their staff, they are all well trained and take courses every few weeks to them sharp I'm their field. Those guys know they equipment.

Outstanding customer service - all I ordered was one little capo and they still took my order just as seriously as if it were a large $$$ order. They even called to double check that it was delivered in a timely manner. I received my order quickly and all of this great service was during a pandemic - if I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Superior customer service! I have been a customer...

Superior customer service! I have been a customer since 2009 and I have had the same knowledgeable sales representative since then. Michael Grebe has always listened to my needs and works with my budget.

The service department is also a cut above the rest. I had to exchange an amp because of a manufacturer defect and they had a new amp to me in 2 days. I also had my MuTron III that needed to be fixed and they were unable to do it but were able to give me contact information on an experienced guy that specialized in fixing them.

I shop with no other music stores because Sweetwater is the best of the best! Give them a chance and you will not be disappointed!

The slide was shut down and that was a bit corny but the store was still amazing and staff was all ears. I'll drive 2 hours one way every week because they are outstanding in their field. I would plow through the crowd because the staff is the cream of the crop

Wish they did not ignore the stringed intruments at their Sweetwater campus. The Mynett store is cramped. The strings should be out with the rest of the music makers. My cello, violin, bass players? What about us?

Great atmosphere for a family looking for something to do that gets your family moving around over sitting around. Always clean and well kept! Wish they had Sunday hours again tho being on second shift.

I drove all the way from Sevierville Tennessee to visit this literal "Mecca" of music stores and I can't wait to come back someday! The only thing more impressive than the world class facility and amazing selection was the professional staff that works there! My sales engineer, Ethan Myers was such a joy to work with and extremely knowledgeable! Not only does he know he have vast knowledge of the products, he's a musician too and cares enough about your passions to get you into the guitar you've been dreaming of! Extremely awesome guy and I look forward to working with him and Sweetwater again very soon! I don't care where you live, it is so worth making a trip to Sweetwater and actually getting to try it before you buy it! Don't make the mistake of buying music equipment blindly, make the trip and ask for Ethan! You'll not be disappointed! Fun for the whole family so what are you waiting for?!!

A safe and friendly site. The staff are super helpful. Wonderful store. Excellent diner and cafe. Free arcade games to play, and many times a free live performance during the lunch hour. Highly recommend spending time here.

This year finally I'LL have enough to pursue my destiny and dream.
I'LL drive 10 hours to get guitars, drums and accessories even if local stores were giving stuff away!

This is THE best music shop period. The complex is amazingly huge. It has not only a store front, but also a coffee shop, game room, golf simulator, recording studio, and much more. Well worth a visit to this very personal touch music store and warehouse.
