Not sure how you can't like this place if you like beer and hanging out. 6 drink tickets is plenty for the pours they give you. Love when they have live music. It definitely gets busy, though. But they go through people quickly I feel. It's the most well known brewery in Atlanta. What else would you expect?

Fun environment, great tour, yummy beer. This place gets packed on the weekends, which can make it a pain to get to the beer and find a place to sit. Parking on site and dog friendly (on the outside patio).

If you like beer then you can't pass up a SweetWater 420 while in Atlanta. And if you have time, definitely check out the brewery tour and tastings that take place at the brewery. The tour is informative and the tastings allow you to try several of the different brews that SweetWater offers.
This is the BEST beer in the South East if not the whole United States!!!

Fantastic local beer and ample patio space. It's always a little too crowded for me and the people just aren't my scene (think Buckhead)... I just don't want to feel like I have to dress to impress to go to a brewery.

As Yogi Berra would say, "nobody goes here anymore, it's too crowded."

Wow this place has gotten huge. I hadn't been since the expansion. If it's full downstairs, go up to the "reel room" for a little more elbow room. Even still, the acoustics are bad and it's hard to have a conversation.

The beer lineup is largely unchanged over the years, they're dancing with who brought them, so to speak.

Great for an Atlanta "thing to do," so-so for a committed beer nerd.

We finally made it back. It's been many years, but the place isn't exactly in our neighborhood. Lots of choices. I enjoyed what I had, but I would have loved the 23rd Anniversary since this year is our 23rd; however, I don't care for that kind of beer. I'm kind of picky and don't like IPAs at all so Blue is my fail safe. So many cute pooches on the large patio and seeing the staff actively sanitizing after a party leaves gets a thumbs up from me.

Pretty incredible the operation they are running right now. They have everything thought out well and the employees are following through with execution. Almost felt as safe as staying home. The venue is awesome and the beer is great, but we already knew that.

super cool brewery. Cozy atmosphere. On specific tasting days (usually on Saturdays), you pay around U $ 12.00 and receive a glass with the Sewwt Water Brewing Co brand and a 6-stamp pack. Not all of them have the taste that we Brazilians are used to, but it is worth trying.

Beer is fine, but if you use their valet service BEWARE. My truck window got smashed last night and my belongings stolen. Valet and Sweetwater manager basically shrugged and gave me a "sorry about your luck" attitude. Extremely angry I wasted an hour to get there, then had to drive an hour home with NO WINDOW. And I have to fix it myself, they will do nothing for their patrons who are violated on their property. And apparently, according to another reviewer, theirs was busted the night before mine was.

I enjoyed the ambience and the tour. The employees truly believe in what they do and love beer. But it still doesn't make up for the beer. The brews don't offer anything new to the palate. They're just the standard IPA, the standard fruity wheat, the standard rye ale, etc. It's fun to visit to escape from work or home, but you come for the experience rather than the product.

WOW! It has been about 2 years since I have been here since I live closed to some other breweries, but wow has it grown and for the better.

Still the best beer in Atlanta. The staff is still great and the make sure that you are taken care off. They, like most breweries, are very dog friendly and have a great shop.

My bartender in the tap room was very knowledgeable about all the beers and was extremely friendly. I actually had a out 4 or 5 different people ask how I was doing at the bar. My food was excellent and the beer was great as well. The place is very clean and has a great feel to it.

Dear SweetWater Brewing Company,

Dear SweetWater Brewing Company,

Please make your boxes more secure. I live in Savannah where it's 95% humidity almost every day. I chose this new, exciting looking Hash session IPA to celebrate Independence Day with.
As soon as i got it out of the car, the one line of glue on the bottom gave way, and this terrible, heart-breaking, tear-jerking thing took place like slow motion right before my eyes. At least i didn't lose all of them the ones i saved were absolutely delicious! Perfect for this hot day!

Great craft beer. Love the product, blue berry was great. A tour, beers and a sweet water pint glass that's a treat. It's a brewery so bring your walking shoes and have a meal before you go . Fresh IPA.

My first visit to Sweetwater and definitely not my last! We came after a trade show happening across the street to enjoy 90 minutes of beer before they closed. The staff were amazing, the lines weren't terribly long, and they allow dogs. They had giant Jenga, enos, and cornhole set up outside. Super chill place with AWESOME beer, and a shop full of goodies. Thanks for the experience, can't wait to come back!

As a homegrown Atlanta guy, Sweetwater was extremely disappointing at Sweetwater 420 Fest this year. We grabbed their new seasonal and tried to exchange it, that bad of a beer. Wouldn't let us even though she could see we only had a sip. Then their experience tent is more expensive than the $8 pints being served. Was super excited to try all of their small batch brews, but it was simply a money maker. Disappointing seeing a hometown brewery shift greats to profits over experience.

Hello, I am visiting N Myrtle Beach for the first time and being from the micro brewery capital of the world (Vermont) I am always seeking out locally brewed beer when I travel. I first had 420 on draught at Bonefish and liked it so much I bought a six pack at Bi- Lo. As an experienced beer drinker (age 56) I realize draught beer is different than bottled beer but, I found 420 from the bottle had a little bit at the end. I did not get that sensation with the draught. Still a good beer so keep on brew'n. Dustin Lang St. Albans VT.( Home of 14th Star)

Definitely a higher production environment a little away from downtown/midtown Atlanta but they've done a great job with the space and the service was very good. Didn't quite like the food in the taproom but the beer was as good as always and the snacks we tried were fine for a quick stop while enjoying an Atlanta brewing institution.

$10 gets you the tour, 36oz of beer divided however you choose into 6oz tasters, and a pint glass! High gravity beers count as two of your 6oz tasters. They also have a oddly diverse gift shop. Unfortunately, due to GA state law, they can't straight up sell beer or allow more than one touring package per person (trust me, I asked!)

This is the biggest brewery ATLANTA has to offer and is a good one to take your out of state friends to for a night out. No food here. Bang for your buck as you get 6 tickets and a souvenir glass. Upstairs has two rooms to hang out in with bars and a small balcony. Downstairs has a patio to play nothing more than cornhole. Not the hippest atmosphere when compared to Monday Night or 5 Seasons, but still worth it!

SweetWater beers are a staple for us. Exodus and 420 are our favorites. Only been to the brewery once and they were still renovating but we did get to tour the Woodlands area which was very nice and interesting. Great leaders in the Georgia craft beer scene.

Does anyone remember The TripleTail India Pale Ale? I loved that beer. Every time I go to Sweetwater a small flicker of hope sparks inside me hoping to once again taste one of the best beers I ve ever had the pleasure of drinking.

Don t get me wrong, I love the place. But please bring back TripleTail. They even added food. But that doesn t fill the whole in my heart, and liver, that was left by TripleTail.

I loved TripleTail.

Good food and pretty good beer. The new outdoor section is great but they keep the music way too loud. I have to practically scream to have a casual conversation with the person sitting next to me.
