I seriously love this place. The food is ALWAYS amazing and they make great cocktails. The service is amazing. I eat here ALL THE TIME. I always recommend it to my clients and people who are new in town. I have all my friends hooked on the chicken masaman. Their coconut soup is great, too. 10 stars

Tables were sticky. It took over an hour to get our food. The other customers were highly intoxicated and loud (Not just one set of customers but 2 different tables and people at the bar). There was no music. It was taking so long and it was so loud we decided to get our food to go. I'm vegan, ordered a vegan dish and when I got home it had chicken in it.

We've visited Bangkok 15 times over the last 15 years, so when it comes to Thai food, we're picky. Surin serves up authentic flavors (though the heat levels have been adjusted for Southern palettes, of course). My gai pad prik (spicy chicken with chopped peppers and basil) hit all the right notes, while Clyde's Thai barbecue chicken was moist and tender. Monday nights you get half-price appetizers, so if you're budget conscious, order the nom sod (ground pork and spices) for half price, snag a bowl of tom yum gai (spicy chicken soup), and you've got a meal for next to nothing. Recommended.

Dine-In service was surprisingly open again. Couldn't resist my favorite Thai crab tempura dish with a "knock-out" vodka peachtini straight from the kitchen in the socially-distanced Poncey-Highland favorite stop...but, just to be sure, Covid n Antibody tests today...PS. leftovers were 2-die-4!

A hipster s paradise with delicious bites of Heaven in every plate... But wait! There s more!

This was our third time dining here. The service we received was impeccably excellent from every angle! The food is as constant as 80+ degree weather during an Atlanta summer. The portions are generous and we didn t find an item over $20 on the entire menu.

The ambiance is casually relaxed and the noise level is definitely noticeable, but hey, you can t control how loud people are. They were probably raving about how great the place is.

To top it off, our waitress Mailee (not sure if I spelled that right), was on of the most attentive, courteous, efficient and professional we ve been served by.

We can t wait to go back!

Great food, ok service but don't look up. The AC vent looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years so I would assume the filter is the same? That brought our attention to eveything above, light fixtures, etc. and everything has so much dust that you have to assume some is making its way to the food. Apparently this is not included in the health inspection?

The quality of the food has gone down. If you like sauce and rice, this is the place for you. I have been going there for years. It was one of my favorite places, I'm assuming they are cutting corners to make up for the business they have lost following cdc covid recommendations. Sad.

I had the boneless basil duck which was very good, it had a nice dipping sauce and the crispy basil leaves gave it a real nice touch. Wife had the panang curry chicken, she loved it, i tasted the sauce and it was amazing. We had the surin baskets which was a nice treat, little baked dough cups that you put minced chicken and a nice sweet sesame seed sauce. Some in our party had soft shell crabs which they really enjoyed. The service was very good and they have a bar.

If ever I could enjoy Thai Cuisine, this is the spot! The food was fresh and tasty . The atmosphere perfect for friends getting together, or a quiet date night.

They serve sake which is traditionally Japanese. Which is kind of fraudulent if you are a traditionally Thai restaurant. They serve sake bombs but you have to make them on your own. Which isn't how it should be done. A Thai place should not serve sake. Bartender was rude as well. Also the bartender continued to tell me they aren't even a Thai restaurant. If surin isn't a Thai restaurant, then why have Thailand mentioned in the restaurant. I'm very confused. They are fraudulent. Don't go there. Food is mediocre at best.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Atlanta.
Food is great. Mushroom soup and the Thai curry is very well made.
Service is quick. Harry and Sons is also owned by the same owner which is next door.

Pretty noisy restaurant thou.
Everyone of us had to talk out loud but we enjoyed the food. Tables are set very close to each other so get a seat next to the wall.

Really enjoyed this place, our waiter was very nice and the food was good. I had the shrimp fried rice and the only thing I didn't like about it was the shrimp end tail was still on the shrimp. I had to keep cutting it off but the flavor was on point.

Yummy

One of our favorite Thai restaurants in both Birmingham and Atlanta. Solid selection of noodles and curries and decent portion sizes, all at a reasonable price. Great for group gatherings or date nights.

The food has been consistently good for the 15 or so years that I ve been going. Well above the competition, my favorite 5-star Thai place has been missing the mark on service lately. No stars deducted due to our long history. Just do better.

Very tasty. Hated the automatic 20% tip added for our group of 7 people. I like to tip when I receive good service, but hate when people feel they need to add anything more than 15% automatically. I will decide if you did a good job NOT YOU!!! This cost you a 5 rating and my next visit will NOT be with more than two people!

We went there for a rehearsal dinner so we got to try a LOT of dishes and all of them were good! I especially loved the coconut curry and beef and broccoli, but everything was good. Service was superb, it was clean and nice. We will be back!

Surin has amazing food! Admittedly though we only ate there because our other favorite Thai food spot is closed for rennovation! But it was still great food I really enjoyed the coconut soup, and the staff are really nice.

Surin serves up Thai food in ViHi 7 days a week, lunch is only served Monday through Friday. You can locate meter parking in front of the restaurant or park in the lot directly behind the lot for free. If there is a fee for the back lot don't worry, Surin will credit your bill. They also have 1/2 price appetizers on Monday from 530 - 700.

It's been a few years since I've eaten here and I'm sad to say the food was mediocre. The restaurant was packed when I arrived so I had hoped that was a good sign. Our waiter was pretty average, he gave recommendations and had a personality, meaning he wasn't dull.

I know some people order pad thai to determine if a thai restaurant is good but for some reason I always go with the Basil Fried Rice with shrimp. I usually get it Thai spicy and made that request here. The dish was an average serving, very fragrant, plump shrimp but not very flavorful. It also wasn't very spicy. The dish was $14.50.

I started with their spring rolls, you get two for $5. I don't think that I've ever been disappointed over spring rolls from a Thai restaurant but there's a first time for everything. The rolls are very bland, no flavor and also not many vegetables, it seemed like it contained only cabbage. I also ordered the crab angels, you get four crab and cream cheese wontons for $4. Now the wontons were very good, best thing I ate that evening.

The best thing I drank that evening was the Lychee Martini, it was perfect and filled to the top of the glass. I love that they serve it with lychee.. delicious.
