East West Express Review

I can't believe drivers actually like this company!! We left quest to come here, both suck but this one is the worst!! You sitting all the time waiting to be load..You have a lot of pick ups oh and you have to make your own appointments for your loads like you have your own authority, which they dnt tell you until you call and say your loads dnt have appointments. The truck they gave us was rebuilt and had an awful smell that made us sick to the stomach. Felt like we was breathing in carbon monoxide. Every week we told them about the problem never got fixed until we told them that we wasn't getting back in the truck, then they so called fixed the problem in thirty minutes.. BULLSHIT!! the way that smell was I know it wasn't a quick issue.. Dumb asses I have truck mechanics in my family.Thought it was gonna be a great company and its not to far from my house but I was wrong and so are the other drivers, its far from great..dnt waste time here. I'll choose quest global before I choose East West even though they both suck

I don t know what s up with the negative comments, but I loveeeeeeee this place!!! Open door policy and truly care about their drivers...I love East West!!!

My husband and I are team truck drivers. We work for this company. It's a family owned business. We love it here! Great equipment, nice travel lanes, no North East or upper mid west. Everyone is kind and respectful. A big shout out to the guys in the shop! They do an amazing job to keep us running smoothly!

Been working here almost 4 years, we really like it here and have no plans to leave.

I was going the posted speed limit of 45 mph and the driver of this truck came up on me without slowing down and nearly hit me if i hadn't floored it and they not swerved at the last second. They are "proffesional" drivers yet things like this happens all the time! Something must be done!

The company itself is great, they have a few issues, but heck every company does. You do sit a lot because it s produce, start a hobby. If you like to run hard and bring home the big bucks, then I don t recommend, but if you like just driving and being chill then the pay is actually really good and the staff do go the extra mile...

These guys are amazing, great group to work for. It's the best, they could use more room, lol. Oh and for all the drivers that take advantage of things need to be more thankful for these guys.

Some of the most low down people I have ever worked for. Play ball with the good ol boy system or they'll screw you every way they can.. Shameful really.

I usually don t write reviews on things but I honestly got to say that East-West Express is by far one of THE BEST trucking companies I had the pleasure to drive for. I wanted to wait at least a good 90 days of employment before I left any kind of review. This company treats their drivers well. My wife and I team drive and we love it here! I have 18 plus years of driving experience and she has 2 years of experience. We have driven for a couple of companies and we feel that we found the best! We both feel like part of a family . They keep us rolling as much as we want. The equipment is top notch! The system they have in place is great and keeps you rolling and not a lot of sitting time. The pay is great! The bonuses are easily obtainable and are great! We just love being treated with respect and more than just a truck number! We look forward to our future here at East-West Express! If you are considering to drive here I would definitely give them a try.

Great place to work if you get the right DM. It's the most money I've made as a company driver. Setting appointments and waiting to get loaded for produce was a little irritating but you can't beat the routes. I would recommend any team drivers to go there.

I'm going on my 7th year. Six years as a team and nine months solo. I'm a "runner" and they are more often than not able to run me as hard as I want . . . legally. Open door, professional, respect. I've done my time in the NE and NW with prior companies and I enjoy staying on I10, 20, 40. Six days off after three turns is great for teams as it basically gives you a week a month off if you'd like. Being close to Atlanta, Douglasville and Carrolton there is everything you could possibly need when in town close at hand including doctors and amazing restaurants of every sort. Being able to have my pup with me is a must and doggos abound here. Oh, and having dedicated equipment is a HUGE plus. With my record and experience I could go anywhere, but East West is home for me for the long haul. No pun intended :)

Great company if you run and don't stop and cry to play at casinos and truckstops 5500 miles a week and if you do your job great people

If you like working for free this is the place for you, each stop after the first one pays a whopping $20. Also may spend 3 days loading 3 picks. Miles are about 4,000-5,000 depends on how you run and if you waste a lot of time getting picks. Days off are fairly good but will call several times after 4 days wanting to know when you are ready to go, if they don t put you on a load and you aren t even done with home time, dispatch is ok but no dispatch is perfect. Training is not paid even though it s required and is company business. No perks and lots of paper work, no real bonuses given. Maybe a couple hundred here and there. It s better than major carriers but ehhhh not the best place.

We love driving for east_west, very family oriented your treated like family, they know you by name . Your not just another driver. This company goes above and beyond for drivers. Available 24/7. Great benefits , great pay and new trucks. Most freight is drop and hook going out, very little sit time between loads . You want find a friendlier trucking company dedicated to there drivers.

Always a good stop, just check tour order before you leave.

Best company I've worked for. Dont listen to the lies from the drivers who didn't like it here. Some people focus on unnecessary negative things. Sometimes you have to wait in trucking, life teaches us that. There is no company out there that you never have to wait on loads sometimes, so stop complaining or just go home. Great pay, great hometime, great equipment, and some of the best managers in the business HANDS DOWN!!!!!

Truck 363 team probably the rudest people I've seen drive in a long time. Get out of our way we're gonna back in first no matter what. They need to take their ugly dog and go back to the trailer park
