Surin of Thailand is a great Thai food restaurant. The food is always amazing every time I visit. The menu is full of delightful dishes that will satisfy any Thai lovers needs. My wife loves to Ginger martini and the pour is well worth it. I recommend the Pad Prik chicken. The restaurant does not have any booths, all tables. The size is just big enough to accommodate most groups of friends that want to meet their. The area is full of bars and restaurants. You want be disappointed with the whole experience.
I visit this outstanding place often since I enjoy the special atmosphere that is part of this place. The team is exceptionally attentive and skilfull. The service is remarkablywonderfully efficient. Not to mention, the food they cook is exceptionaly good. I frequent many times and I was always delighted. The payment is reasobable. I suggest this place to all my friends.
Surin has always been one of our favorite local restaurants. But I didn't appreciate the quality until I moved out of Va-Hi. I've tried two different Thai restaurants because they were closer, but, in both cases, I swore I would make the drive to Surin the next time I wanted Thai. The Pad Thai at Surin is peerless, but the way you can really tell the difference between Surin and all the other Thai restaurants is the beef. The Thai beef salad at Surin is unbelievable, as is the Nam Tuk. The beef is always perfect and never tough, not an easy feat given how thinly it is sliced. It's too good to sweat the few extra miles.
two days ago was our first time we visited this excellent restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We had great time with the courteous service, with the finest dishes and wine and with the honest charge. We will definitely come back in a short time.
Surin has been around for a long time, however the service has gone down completely. Our server was not attentive. The food was decent..the martinis were great. Price points arenyreat as well.
I am from Alabama and my family and I used to eat at Surin of Thailand ALL THE TIME! When I moved to Atalanta and seen there was a Surin I was ecstatic! Fortunately their recipes are the same and it is obvious the chef is as skilled in what he does on that kitchen as the chef in Alabama! For all travelers and Atlanta natives this is a must have restaurant, and literally everything on the menu is great even their martinis!
DO NOT EAT HERE!! The waitress is a scammer. My bill was only $51 she charged my card $460, my other friends were charged $200+ and their bills only came out to be 30-40 dollars.
The catfish was good which I didn't order but my friend shared with me. I ordered the red snapper, it didnt have any flavor, very bland. I probably won't return either
Amazing and consistently so for over 20 years! I love this place and have been coming here since the 1990s. Masaman to die for, coconut soup that is just as fresh and tasty ad it was many years ago, and the best Jasmine tea I've ever had in my entire life are among the qualities attracting me to this Mecca of Thai eating. I live more than 700 miles from Surin, but whenever I'm in ATL, I simply gravitate towards it.
Called for takeout almost 2 hours before they were supposed to close and the guy on the phone stated they were closed for the night and hung up in my face. They won t see another dime of my money.
I grew up going to Surin in the late 90s (it was my family's favorite Thai restaurant) and now my husband and I eat here multiple times a month! It's the best Thai food I've ever had the pleasure of eating. If I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would be their Chicken Massaman and Coconut Soup!
I don't think we would have tried the Surin Baskets when we had dinner at Surin this week but the appetizers were half-price and we decided to give them a try. Thank the Lord for 1/2 price apps! Before we'd finished the first plate of them, I had already ordered a second plate! Surin Baskets are this incredible combination of chicken, corn, shrimp, cilantro, onion, & spices in a mini pastry basket. There's nothing in that list of ingredients that I don't love so I was in culinary heaven. The pastry had a perfect crunch and the flavors blended together wonderfully. And to make it even better - they serve a honey-peanut cucumber sauce that you put in the little basket. There was depth of flavor in the spices and combination of all the ingredients and everything tasted incredibly fresh. They serve 6 of these baskets on a plate and I'm pretty sure I could have ordered 60 of them and finished every one. So if you're ever looking for some great Thai food in Atlanta, stop by Surin and have some Surin Baskets.
