Herrendous service. The host/owner doesn't give two cents about business. 7 tables free ready to be sit, and no one is sitting the people waiting. By the drinks you can see the owner and host joking laughing having a time of their life. Its obvious they don't want business. They are living off the shear desperation of customers who can't find anything better late at night, mind you, at this rate, Mcdonalds would be a better alternative.

Chang beer is delicious. First time having it was here on Sunday. Light and refreshing. The spicy basil Thai fried rice is my go to dish. It is a lot of food and super filling. Would recommend. Not too spicy at all. Best of both worlds.

Visited for the very first time on Saturday night to meet friends. Had a great time. My drinks weren't strong enough however the food was good. It's a nice intimate place and I'd go back.

The dish I ordered was on the menu as a stir fry with noodles and chicken. It looked more like a stew in a plate. It had some kind of sauce that rendered it very soupy. My experiences with stir fry is that it should not be soupy but dry fried with only the juices from the vegetables present, but mostly dry. Didn't like it at all.

The food was good. It's was my first visit. I just thought paying extra payment for the hot was out of order. Considering just purchased to full order. They Charge 50cent per small serving. At least they charge me that.

I used to love this place. Last night I ordered delivery from there and halfway through my meal discovered four pieces of RAT POOP in the middle of my noodles. I have a photo of it but will spare you. SO disgusting.

Ahh where do I start? First I couldn t get past the stir fry... they taste great and a handful of options! Today I finally tried a special entree (the BBQ Chicken and the Lamb dishes) both delectable. I thought to myself it s time to give them a review. I can t forget they have happy hour specials, half off appetizers and 3 dollars off special entrees. Let s just say if you enjoy a cool relaxing setting and Thai food don t hesitate to stop by!

There was a lot going on behind the scenes. The Thai staff live together in a house nearby owned by the owner . They each have a small room and when they are not sleeping and recovering from long hours they are back working at one of the restaurants. Management is sleeping with staff which is an obvious abuse of power. When customers aren t within earshot the staff is subjected to regular verbal abuse and profanity from management four letter words, and hate speech while cleaning toilets. You wouldn t believe how horrible this place is. I hope someone records and exposes them soon bc this is a civil rights and human trafficking operation waiting to blow.

The absolute best panang curry I've ever had. The atmosphere was great, and so was the service. There is easy street parking and the restaurant is located on the best side of ATL - Poncey-Highlands

Been dining at Surin for over 20+ years and even today i can't get bored of the delicious thai dishes the offer to all Atlantan's. Good quality, clean, authentic thai food. The type of place that have survived trough the years on a world of mouth basis, no publicity needed. Everyone that eats at Surin knows realistically that will come back for some more.

I was a little disappointed because they were out of Surin Baskets - which are amazing! I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years and I have never had a bad meal. Food is always great.

Order the lamb chop dish and it was amazing! I order it to go and when I arrived home I was very pleased, I can imagine how good it would have been having it served fresh at the restaurant!

I was looking forward to this experience because my boyfriend and his family have been clients for years and they always tell me about this place. Finally went this past weekend and it was the worst customer service I have received in a while. Safe to say this place will never get another dollar from me.

One word: Disappointing. We ordered 3 things:

Spicy Papaya Salad: This was fairly bland, though I did enjoy the beef jerky that came with it
Pad Thai: Again, this was fairly bland and a bit too sweet for me
Three Flavor Fish: Not sure where the three flavors went, but it wasn't on the fish. Tasted like someone pooped sweet & sour sauce on a fried fish.

The service is good here which seemed to be the only bright spot of this restaurant. But if I were you, take your Thai cravings elsewhere.

Beautiful set design. Prompt cordial staff. Clean looking staff! Lovely jazz scores play quietly. Love the food. Sauces a little too sweet but the hot stuff to die for. Love spicy, love Thai.

Love this spot and all their sister restaurants! I highly recommend the potstickers in red curry sauce. They are delicious and perfect for sharing.

I had the spicy beef salad and it has so excellent flavor. It is my favorite salad anywhere! The beef is perfectly cook with a little char. Fresh lettuce and tomatoes.

Friendly service. Big dining area with a bar. Great casual restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Waitress was rude because my aunt wanted to change her bbq chicken to the catfish. She kept giving us nasty stares and wasnt very friendly throughout our lunch. Brought hot tea with no lemon or anything to sweeten with..she just wasnt attentive at all. Even our coconut soup was lukewarm..but i looked over and saw someone elses soup smoking hot. Didnt enjoy our lunch at all...

I ve been eating at this restaurant for the past 7/8 years and progressively the service has gotten worst and worst. Today I visited and was extremely disappointed with the attitudes and service of the staff. The waitress didn t greet us and she took our order with a frown & the worst attitude, rushing us which was annoying. I watched her interact with the Caucasian customers with a smile on her face, constantly checking on them. Customers that were sat and ordered after us received their meals before us. Anyway, long story short I m good on this restaurant and I ll make sure everyone I recommended the restaurant to never goes here again. Lol

Food is nice, presentation is excellent and portions are generous. The seafood selection is small, but good. Space is limited and tables are very close together. It would definitely be in your best interest to make reservation. It's also a high traffic area. (Foot traffic and cars; as there are several business, eateries, pubs, etc. nearby.)

Worst Thai food in my whole life! Not to mention the taste and the packaging. It has a plastic thing inside my food. The food is not real Thai food! The noodle is so wrong and the taste makes me sick! Omg horrible!

Sat at the bar, good service, good food, and good drinks. Nothing phenomenal, but everything was good. The location is really cool though right by some of the bars in Virginia Highlands

In my opinion, one of the best Thai restaurants in Atlanta. We are definitely what you would call "regulars". Downside - ordering out. I wanted to get carry-out from Surin for my birthday, and their phone line was BUSY for a solid 30 minutes. We got frustrated and gave up, settling for Little Bangkok. This was not the first time this has happened, and it happens enough to knock a star off...why do you only have one line?!

I have been going to this place for years! I found out about it from some former coworkers and had been going ever since. My two favorite dishes are the Squid salad and the Boneless Basil Duck. The Squid salad is kind of spicy so if you do not like or can't handle spicy foods, you may want to stay away from it, although it's not unbearably spicy, it is REALLY good! The Boneless Basil Duck, well as a country boy, I love Duck, I love Basil, and the fact that the duck meat is shredded and fried in on big piece, make it even better because the meat is crispy, yet flavorful. I've gone a few times by myself and the bartender is really funny, he makes really good drinks. Although he is a little flirtatious, he gets my vote as one of the best bartenders in the city!
