It is a amazing and uniquely designed hotel. Everyone speaks English and hospitality is very good here I felt very welcome . Specialy Turgay yashar was so helpfull and kind , The breakfast was delicious, very well kept and clean rooms and the secret garden was beautiful, great for pictures. I had a lovely stay here.

The restaurant, located at the entrance of the hotel, which welcomes foreign tourists generally between Cagaloglu and Sultan Ahmet Square, is suitable for crowded groups.
WORST HOTEL IVE VISITED! I don't like leaving reviews like this but this hotel has shocked me at their behaviour. I had booked this hotel through hotels.com and the booking had accidently got cancelled. As soon as I got the email saying my stay was cancelled I immediately phoned up hotels.com to tell them and rebook my room. Hotels.com said I would have to pay a little extra as the price had gone up on that day which was absolutely fine (only a couple quid). I asked hotels.com if they could give me back the cancellation fee that was charged as I did rebook immediately and it was a mistake, they said this would be fine the hotel would just need to approve as they were the ones charging this fee. The hotel refused to refund the cancellation fee despite we had rebooked straight away and on top of that Karem from their reservation team lied and said they did not receive contact from hotels.com the next morning and because of this the refund could not be processed as it had already gone to finance. He said if hotels.com had contacted him that morning they could have refunded us. Hotels.com said they had actually contacted them twice that morning and also sent an email as promised after we had contacted them. We were also lied to by the reception desk staff who had also reassured us that the hotel would waive the cancellation fee as long as hotel.com had contacted them to confirm which they did.
Besides the lies and bad staff we also had issues with the room such as the shower not heating up and the bathroom constantly smelling of sewage. There was barely any closet space for us to hang up our clothes. The views they had advertised on their pictures are from the hotel opposite which was really deceiving. Our view from the balcony was a blocked view of the mosque with fumes and smoke entering our balcony from a garage underneath. Absolutely no HONESTY OR INTEGRITY just money hungry!
The horse symbols at the entrance are great. The lobby of the hotel is large, there is a wonderful place where you can have tea and coffee in the garden, the staff always accompany you, Turgay and his colleagues are really doing their job well, there is a bas l ca s stern under the hotel, we will come again in a very good spot, thanks sura family.

Locations is what makes this hotel 5 Star. Staff is very polite and helpful. Service is great and this place is only 300 feet away from Blue mosque and Hagia Sofia. Also about 10 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar and spice Bazaar

I do not recommend this place! We booked for 6 night and stayed only 3. First bedroom are too small and the climatisation are on your face so we didn't sleep for 3 nights. More importantly the swimming pool is disgusting, I cut my finger inside the swimming pool and have to go to the emergency to have tetanus injection and the hotel did Nothing!! I have to pay for taxi and hospital and they didn't apologize. I still waiting for my refund for the night I did not stay but I repeat I DO NOT recommend this place!

A place to meet your needs of Arab testes in the heart of Sultanahmet in the center of transportation
The location is perfect. It s 2 min walking distance from Sultanahmet and Agia Sophia and it s really close to a tram station. It s quiet place and the staff is lovely - so kind and friendly. The rooms are small and I wouldn t say it s a 4* hotel, it s 3*. The breakfast was the same every day and there was no other options. However, I enjoyed my stay there. Also the view from the restaurant on the top floor is amazing, strongly recommend you to visit it.

We stayed 4 nights at this wonderful hotel! The reception staff were so hospitable as were the breakfast team, in particular, Kadir and Rosin. It's a great location in the hussle bussle of restaurants and the beautiful architecture of Sophia Hagia and Blue Mosques.
The hotel is located in the heart of the old area of Istanbul and is close to the most important historical attractions, especially the Museum of Ayasofya, but the prices are exaggerated compared to the level of service provided, and the hotel has a beautiful modern design as well as the rooms are designed with distinctive decor, but it is not practical for guests at all, The size of the room is small and there is no wardrobe and there are no side cabinets or drawers to put clothes and the like, which forced me to leave my clothes as they are in the bags throughout the stay which caused me great inconvenience, as I have booked in this hotel only because of a coffee machine Espresso on Although there are better hotels than cheaper price, and when the room receiving machine availability not to tell me.
I stayed in room (107) and the inconvenience was too much as there is a big closet for bed linen and towels and the like which is adjacent to the door of the room, and all the time is opening and closing this closet which caused me an intolerable inconvenience, and Sister Ilham (which I will mention Later, I replaced the room the next day with room (207), but the same problem existed because of a similar closet.
As for the positives in addition to the location, the room was very clean with a balcony overlooking the garden, the breakfast was good and the service was very fast and attention to every detail is excellent.
As for the most important point for me in this hotel and the most beautiful thing that happened to me during my stay in this hotel is the meeting with Sister Ilham (Umm Amir) from the sister Kingdom of Morocco, who works in the reception section of the hotel, where she is more than a wonderful character with her morals and culture, openness, fun and kindness It is like a bee all the time I see it working for the comfort of all guests and ask everyone if they need any assistance, it is very hospitable and welcoming guests so that you will feel that you know before and you at home, and that during breakfast time was interested in all Details and all the hostel It was a common sight all the time that guests came to see them warmly before they left the hotel, and my five-star review despite the negatives I mentioned, only for the positive role played by Sister Elham, and I would not exaggerate if I say that I will return to this hotel in the future only Yes, I saw from my dear sister (Umm Amir) a sincere welcome and love, so thank you very much with her best wishes for family and professional success.

I don't know where to start. When we first checked into the hotel, we had a great team that greeted us at the door .With the Turkish coffee, we entered the process quickly . Then gentleman Turgay and his team gave us information about istanbul and about the entertainment venues in Istanbul. There was fruit in the room and we liked it very much. Breakfast is delicious and full. We recommend to everyone there is something delicious in the morning dough . I think it name is gonzeme . :) it's delicious. Thank you, Sura family.

Stayed here for 3 nights during our honeymoon and it was fantastic! They knew it was our honeymoon and greeted us with a cake, decorations and fruit plate - which was very unexpected. The service was tremendous and the hotel is located almost across the street from Hagia Sophia and Blue mosque. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. Great stay

We were put in a horrible disabled room and when we decided to leave to another hotel they said we would be reimbursed the remaining nights and 2 weeks later they tell me they are unable to reimburse me and as we do not live in Turkey there is nothing we can do about it!! Avoid small Turkish boutique hotels as we have been informed that they are renown for being con artists so go to international hotels!!

Close to the tram station and you can get a tram map from the hotel to roam in all regions of Istanbul, and the idea is very simple and it is considered cheap and blush. You only have to know where you are going and follow the name of the station that you want to go down to or near the place you want on the screen. There are offices in the hotel to work tour any boat exploration, etc.
Charming hotel tucked away in the middle of down town Sultanahmet. It's out of season, so things are quiet but the staff are very helpful with questions and recommendations. The adjacent restaurant is actually great too, so it's worthy benchmark to anywhere else you'll visit. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and are comfortable. For this side of the river, I really don't think I'd be interested in staying elsewhere.

The hotel is in an excellent location and close to the heritage sites and cafes but you have to wait and wait until the room is ready and the staff are not helpful and they miss the package booked twice but i think i will not book again
WONDERFUL, EVERYTHING PERFECT, IMPECCABLE. UNBEATABLE LOCATION

Together with a friend we had planned a long weekend in Istanbul for the end of March (25-29 March). We had booked the Sura for this because of its excellent reviews.
The dilemma:
Due to the global pandemic, we were no longer able to enter Turkey with German passports on the above date. We even considered entering via third countries, but that would not have solved the identification problem. So it was actually not possible for us to physically reach the hotel at all.
As a result, we decided to cancel our stay. We were fully reimbursed for the separately booked flights with Turkish Airlines within a few hours and thus had a good feeling about the reimbursement of the travel price / issue of a voucher by the hotel.
So I contacted the hotel via the customer chat on the hotel website and was referred to the reservation manager Kerem Dogru in a very friendly and accommodating manner. All right, I took the time and described our concerns in detail and also expressed my understanding for the situation of the hotel. After all, we're all in the same boat.
The answer I received a few minutes later made me very disappointed and also angry. There was nothing more than a very poorly worded two-line text with plenty of errors. You'd think the hotel had just enough time to attend to the concerns of its guests, but I guess I was wrong.
In addition to the really impolite wording, we were told very harshly that nothing could be done about the situation and that we were not being met in the slightest.
And that was it. No more and no less.
As I said - we fully understand that the hotel industry in particular is struggling with the effects of the pandemic. But I have never seen such behavior towards guests, who also suffer financial losses.
In the end, we have now paid the full price without any consideration. With communication that wouldn't even be fair to a hostel.
We will definitely make our trip to Istanbul as soon as the situation has "normalized" - but based on the above experience we will avoid the Sura.
