Love my course, I live on it and play it 2-3 times a week, but I hate the fishermen everywhere! Right infront of the tee box! Really? While looking for my ball near the water I was tangled in fishing line tripped and cut my ankle, hook stuck in my laces took 5 minutes to get it out, No Marshals on course and the sand traps... Well let's just say, You don't hit out of most traps. (Get some sand) Other than that, It's a great course challenging and in great shape compared to most couses near by. Staff is absolutely amazing, very helpful and friendly! Over all I really like my home course, just wish they would address some of above mentions. Fix traps and eliminate fishermen get 5 stars from me!!

We had our wedding here on November 4, 2020 and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue or perfect experience. Even during these days of social distancing and Covid our guests had fun, felt safe had a wonderful delicious meal that they are still talking about. We had originally scheduled for an April wedding of 150 people and unfortunately we had to postpone. SSGC not only worked with us, Toni helped us continue to plan our romantic wedding that even though people were social distancing, wearing masks, and hand sanitizing we really didn't notice because everyone was having fun eating from our delicious menu and enjoying themselves it wasn't really noticed. We can also proudly say that NO one got sick from our event!

Nice course. The staff are super helpful and friendly. A year has passed and must down grade this course as they are overbooking their tee times. 5&1/2 hours yesterday.

Not a forgiving course, cart girls are a 5 out of 5, would play again.

The course was in excellent shape as usual. The staff was very courteous.

Course is very well maintained. Greens smooth and true. Could use a little more sand in the traps. Challenging club selections especially number 18! Played in four hours on a beautiful Saturday. Nice!

I love this place. Fast and friendly staff with good pizza at an affordable price.

Plenty of challenge: long holes, interesting hazards. As summer approaches, fairways are starting to look pretty singed. Did not see much staff support at bag drop, etc. Great pace of play...even with mid morning tee off.

I really enjoyed the layout of the back nine more so than the front. Pace of play was at 4 and a half hours. Very long for playing in 100 plus degrees being from Michigan. All in all, the greens and fairways were in great shape. I would definitely play here again.

Great course and played very well. Staff was very friendly and accommodating for our group. Pace of play was good. Could definetly use a hot dog cart out at the turn!

If you like real slow play, you can tee off at 7:56 am and finish at 1:20 pm. Bring along a newspaper or a good book. My foursome passed two slow groups by skipping holes (9&14). We figured there were at least three holes open ahead of the group we passed on 14. The course ranger's job is to just shrug his shoulders.

It was beautiful outside. Inside seemed dreary. There for a wedding. No ice. There were not near enough small plates for appetizers. 1 bartender she was overwhelmed. Busser took our glasses and plates while we were still using them. Food on plate, beverage in glass. Not a terrific experience.

Nice course. Friendly staff. $74 for 18 riding felt a little high, but overall good place to play.

Do not walk this course. Very very long. Nice otherwise.

Long wait due to a tournament scheduled ahead of us. Almost an hour late. Was not informed of this when we checked in at the pro shop.

Disappointed in the sand traps...staff was great..no showers....and I really wanted a shower so that was disappointing ....lot of marks on the greens

The course is very nice, but the greens were very ball marked and very slow. No true roll on putts.

Excellent track and one of the best bargains in the Valley. Attentive staff and excellent service from the time you pull up to play to the time you leave. Excellent food in the restaurant and the servers are spectacular. Can't wait until my next round there!

Have not played golf there but I had my wedding there a couple weeks ago. The ceremony area looks great and reception hall is nice and food is decent. But the wedding staff is absolutely awful.

The wedding coordinators need to find new jobs. The wedding coordinator we worked with up until the big day was fine but The day of the wedding they dropped the ball. We were supposed to have both wedding coordinators available the whole day. The main coordinator didn't show up untill about 3 hours after she said she would and decided it was more important to sell another couple during our ceremony then being involved in what she was supposed to be doing. Oh and then she left for the day. The other coordinator would disappear and couldn't be found most the night and when she was around she was extremely rude to our guests. When we confronted her about the issue she denied it and disappeared again.

My wife and I weren't even brought a piece of our cake. They delivered cake to maybe three tables, stopped and disappeared again. Very unprofessional.

Only reason I'm giving a star is because the food was decent and the reception hall and ceremony areas can look good if set up right.

I would not recommend this to any couple getting married unless you have a private wedding planner to handle everything.

I work in an area where customer service is very important and I can't believe the service we received. Just absolutely awful service. And weddings aren't cheap. Happy to take our money but we did not get even close.to what we paid for.

We had started planning the wedding. We had put down a deposit and everything. We even had paid some off. My fiancee lost his job and we contacted the coordinator. We left as message as she was not there. She never returned my calls, emails or anything. We never got any of our money back. I would beware.

Golf course was in great shape! The staff is super helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend hosting an event here.

Very slow play. Nearly 5 hours to play. Waited on every hole. People who come out to golf need to play the right tees based on the their ability.

Used to love this course and the restaurant. Service has really gone down hill recently and the managers seemed like they didn't want to be bothered. Course is still good but staying far away until they get either some new management or at least better trained restaurant staff.

Fun round. It was ten+ years since I had played. Still a great track but it is definitely showing its age. They have let a few of the water hazards run dry. The building inside needs an update but the staff was awesome! I will be back. My gps didn't work. Had to pay told the old school way.

Great atmosphere great employees just a great place all around even if food is tremendously great.

Great course with enough water to scare you, but not cost you a fortune in balls.

On a recent visit to Mesa, we played this golf course. It was challenging yet not out of reach skill wise. The cost was excellent for a round of golf including cart. I cannot say enough nice things about the people that worked there, from the pro shop to the bartender, they are all awesome. Toying with the idea of getting a place here for retirement and this golf course is definately at the top of my list. I loved it here!

Saw varied reviews before playing there for the first time. Some were glowing and others suggested a steady rate of deterioration in course conditions. I would side with the latter. In addition, outside staff are fairly discourteous unlessed greased with some cash. There are better places to play in the valley for similar pricing. Arcis golf there management company needs to work on what a service position is to the staff and put some cash into the course.

Money needs to be spent on traps instead of a big hole. Also needs someone who knows how to look after the traps with the correct amount of sand for the correct bunkers. Appoximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch for fairway bunkers and about 1 to 2 inches for green bunkers. Hitting out of hardpan spoils the round and makes people think twice about coming back. Well groomed bunkers would put the course away above the competition ( at least a 4 on a scale of 1 to 5.) the heavy grass around the greens also turns people off but not nearly as much as poor traps. Love the layout of the course. Unfortunately, some of the water hazards are dried up.

This championship course is kept as such. The fairways are very well kept and there is an even tone of green all throughout. The greens are just impecable. And the summer rates are awesome! The only downside to play during summer is the ungodly Arizona heat, so keep well hydrated and use tons of sun block. I must give credit to the amazing staff, friendly, courteous, and with a positive attitude.

The staff is great but the owners have let this golf coarse go to waste ,most the lakes are run dry and what's left is almost dry it needs renovation , of they don't want to pay the upkeep then sell it .

Had a extremely wonderful time at a party held here last night. Wow. This place really went above and beyond. Great wait staff and food. Would definitely use this facility for a get together or party.

Great course with some tough holes bring your A game...

This course has went downhill. It use to be a PGA qualifier and now looks like tin cup course. Needs attention bad.

I was only here for work but folks seemed of good cheer and friendly do it must be a good time

No ice in cooler, course wasnt terrible but it was ok. I'm pretty sure in the winter it's great. There was a three some 2 groups ahead of me that were sloooww... didnt have anyone in front of them. I called the club house to let them know and they really didnt care. End result, was about 3 groups at every tee box at every hole after the 6th. They could've simply have sent someone out to let them know to keep up the pace but they didn't. They did nothing. I was more disappointed with the staff to be honest. I ended up leaving early because it would've taken 5 hrs for 18 holes. (Aug 2)

We came in out of state for a wedding rehearsal dinner that we were in charge of. Toni was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. She was very responsive to my e-mails and took care of everything, including table cloths and centerpieces. They didn t nickel and dime me when I asked for a microphone, projector, and easel. I arrived 30 min. Early to have everything set up exactly as we discussed. We were able to make a custom menu at a very reasonable price that was delicious. The chicken and beef were moist as were the potatoes. It was even mentioned that the green beans were not over cooked. The cook made a special dessert bar that included lemon bars, petit fours, truffles and individual cheese cakes. I would definitely use this venue again. Thanks to all the staff that made it happen!

Fairways were nice and groom, but the blinkers were terrible. I think they need to take care of the bunkers because that is part of the golf game.

I used to play here regularly but after a couple of very rude encounters with the staff I won't be back.

14NOV2012 - Enjoyed a nice round. Course was in great shape. Greens fees were perfect for the course. I was able to use just about every club in my bag. The course is set in a residential area with homes, highways, water canal and streets that border and bisect the course. None of which came into play or distracted from the golf. There are a sufficient number of hazards to keep you challenged. The only hole I did not like was #12; a par 3 with a blind, elevated green. The green is completely hidden by mounding. The back nine seemed like the original course, but fits in well with the front nine. The staff was friendly.

Golf Course is not in good shape and the drinks are overpriced

From the day Superstition Springs broke ground the course has been magnetic. Landscaping provides the perfect backdrop for any type of photo. Would you be surprised to see space for Events. There is even pizza.
I have photographed Brides, Pre-Bridal, High Schools Dance photos, Contact sheet shots for actors, and Family photos.
I kept forgetting it was an excellent golf course. My children brother's, friends, made fun of me cause I thought in pictures while they thought "Can't wait!"
Superstition Springs is easy to find and a terrific experience. Fore!

the course is in great shape... the greens are some of the best around...you need to play this course you will not be disappointed...and don't forget to try the restaurant ...great food and the staff is the best...

Used to be the best course in the valley. Now it is the worse arcus property.

Great place, I had the opportunity to golf with the Mesa Police at their tournament. Thank you to the East Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for inviting me!

I went here for a birthday party and they had a huge room for it and they provided table it was a nice place

I consider this my "home course" since it's right down the road from my house. And every time I go, it never disappoints. Reasonable green fees and above average course maintenance makes this a course that I can always come back to. I would like to see the water jugs at each hole maintained more along with the beverage and food cart coming around much more. But other than that, it's a course you should play.

Nice course wit driving and putting range. Excellent monthly deal for unlimited driving range balls each day.

Cheap, fast, nice greens and a great place to go with friends. Not uptight and great service. Not a country club, so many young people and overall fast and easy. Course is extremely difficult and many challenging holes.

Nice course but over booked especially when morning frost delays are happening. Price was discounted along with bucket of balls for reasonable compensation. Sand traps need SAND, or turn them into grass bunkers as already done in many.

The course and the greens are in great shape and the pace of play was just over 4 hours which is awesome this time of year. The staff in the Pro shop and restaurant went over the top to make sure we had a good experience. Can t beat it for the price.

At 100 buck to play I would not recommend this golf course. It has a great layout with nice greens. The overall maintenance is very poor for a golf course demanding this fee. You can barely find your ball in the rough. Don't waste your time with this one unless you can golf it for 60 bucks maximum. I felt like a donkey in my group suggesting this one.

Overbooked. No carts running 1and half hours behind schedule.

Love the course lay out and hole diversity, those who play this course know it can play many different ways. I have played here when it has not even a slight breeze and shot a good score 82. Which for me is pretty damn good, however i have played here when it has been windy and the course plays a lot longer and much more difficult. That day i had to scramble to keep my score under 90. The staff is always top notch and i highly recommend playing here if you get the chance. Its one of the top if not the number one value as far as what type of experience you get for the cost or green fees for the course.

Played this yesterday it was pretty fun; not a real hard course, but you have to have your distances dialed in and it helps to know the layout to know where to place your shots......looking forward to playing this again; the par fives are not difficult.....it was cart path only so the GPS was not as accurate as it could have been but it was still a blast.
