For many years this was a great course. It is an "affordable" marginal course now.
Since I have only played it once, I don't know if conditions have improved. Anyways, the course has tons of potential. I bet on its best day, it looks and plays fantastic. Unfortunately, I went a day when conditions were pretty bad. Grass was very muddy and lots of areas under repair. There were also lots of bugs on the holes next to water. However, good, strategic bunkering and water. I will play again soon.
My husband and I recently had our wedding here. We could not have imagined a better wedding! Toni and Addison were amazing accommodating our crazy last minute details before the wedding and helped the wedding run so smoothly. The place looked amazing and the space was perfect! I highly recommend this venue!
The back nine excellent conditions and a good design, excellent restairant
Nice course, needs a lil bit of that extra attention. But great value for sure
We just held our 3rd Annual Desert Ridge Football Golf Tournament here and like years past the staff and management are very organized and helped make sure our event was a success. The manager Seth is great to deal with and knows his business well. If you ever have a chance to play the course do not pass up the opportunity.
Really cool course. Certainly will play again great deal on the round. No very crowded plenty of workable course.
Always a good spot to hit the range in the east valley. Driving range always kept very nice and grass is great condition year round. In the winter the prices are pretty steep. But over all great place. especially in the summer months.
Had not played here for some time even though it is still a nice course it needs work. Many of the water holes are dry, the sand traps had nice silica sand at one time, now if they have sand they are muddy.
Staff is friendly play was on pace
Bonita Tequila is now available at Superstition Springs Golf Club, a beautiful and challenging course recognized by Golfweek as one of "America's Best Golf Courses". Distinguished by its southern plantation style clubhouse, Superstition Springs Golf Club breathes an air of luxury that now offers its patrons the world's finest tequila.
Unbelievable slow pace of play. Literally 6 hour round of golf. When my group finished, we asked if they had someone to keep up pace of play, the response was ''we do, but he left an hour ago.'' Spend more money and go to a place that isn't concerned with stuffing the course full of people.
Fairly nice course, overpriced for course quality, but the pace is so terrible...it took us 3 1/2 hours as two golfers to finished nine holes
Pretty golf course, nice layout. Several holes you need to four caddy surprises await.
Lived up to expectations! Many courses boast of their quality, but Superstition Springs lived up to what they advertised. From a quality welcome by trained staff to take your bag, to a 1st class practice area, a fantastic round, and finishing with staff to clean your clubs, I was impressed with the entire experience. I'll be back!
Nice green golf course, well maintained, nice clubhouse facility. The ants outside are really bad in some parts.
They really need to clean up the rubbish out on the course and put a little more sand in the traps.
Nice course. Challenging and fun! Course in great shape and it is nice that they clean your clubs after the round.
Great church to go to for people who are trying to learn about God. A lot of friendly people there too! I'd recommend it to anyone trying to get to know more about religion.
I went there to attend a private function. It was an evening event so l didn't get to check the golf course. However, the golf club building is notably in need of rehab! Carpet is stained, dirty, outdated. Elevator is dirty, slow yet noisy. The establishment smells bad, furniture is old. Finally drinks are very expensive and served in tacky disposable cups. I ordered a rum & coke which was poured in a plastic cup for $12! Enough said, l ll never step foot in there ever.
Forgiving course with plenty of challenges to keep you engaged. Had a lot of fun.
Nice track, not for the faint of heart on some holes but what a great course! A must play!
Very nice golf club. Some of the structural items around the course need some improvement other than that you will love playing here
Good course. Plays slow and seems like its always under construction but still fun
Fun golf course but club house is extremely outdated.
Tough but fun course. Pace of play was on the slow side. We'd play it again.
Nice golf course in the city of Mesa. Beautiful fairways, great staff and reasonably priced greens fees.
Course was in great shape, always a challenge to play
Lots of 2 somes then 5 some on back ugh! Lots of waiting.
Great course scenic, challenging and a pleasure to play
Definitely not a fan of this place... Clean though for the most part.. Careful with parking, we see quite a few nails
This could be a good course, nice layout. Dodgy maintenance, terrible bunker maintenance. Small greens nice shape, but so so maintenance and consistently. Slow, slow, 5 hour round, zero Marshalls.
Course was in giod shape. Staff was friendly and accommodating
Golfers need to repair their ball marks / great course
We meet here for our weekly Rotary Club meetings. Love the food and the service. They do a great job taking care of our needs.
Open enough for those of us who aren't sharp shooters yet challenging enough to keep it interesting.
People treat you right here! Great course and best of all great staff. Met one of them the other day forgot his name but he's from Colorado as well and just bs'd with my kid. Thanks for a course worth writing a great review! Keep up the fantastic work!
My favorite course! Tough but always good. Course is typically in great shape and the check in is a hoot with the host.
Great prices. Fun golf. And the deals are well worth it even with the repairs going on.
Very enjoyable round. Several of the water hazards were drained. I'm hopeful that was for summer water conservation. Price for 18 and a cart for an early morning tee time felt slightly on the high side for the quality of the course.
Came here from Wisconsin. Had a 2:04 tee time. Didn't get off till after 2:30. They ran out of carts and had no rangers. Even though we started at 2:30 we had to skip the last several holes due to darkness. Slow play and no ranger to help, not a good experience, other courses near by are much better.
Great place. Wow the golfing! Wow the experience! Friendly everyone! I would go back in a heart beat. Jack was so helpful when I was looking at getting some new balls! Thanks everyone!
Golf here, you won't be disappointed. They are generous, friendly and accommodating. I can't help you with your golf score, but the cocktails in the bar after will help. No. 18 was just a delight. Try it.
The Arcis memberships are super for this challenging course, carts with GPS a plus, extremely courteous and friendly staff from the pro shop, bar and food, to the attendants outside. With so many places to play golf in the Mesa area we have many choices, we choose Superstition Springs.
Nice challenge for the average golfers. I visited during June so course was in ok shape. Was a good place for price.
Love this track, lot of brown spots or thin grass spots which I don't remember for this course in the past. Good test of your golf skills here, must hit your second shots well here; greens were very putable. Tough Par 3's, don't try to hit your driver on every hole especially if you don't know where it is going. Easy to get to and park. I will certainly return and play again this summer.
Slow pace of play with no ranger in sight. I ve never seen worse conditions. This course used to be amazing!
We just had our wedding reception here and it was fantastic! Toni and Addison were extremely helpful! Toni went above and beyond to help me with whatever I needed. She also didn't need to stay the entire time of our reception but she did just to make sure things ran smoothly and we were happy all night! The chef was also amazing! It is a great place for a venue and I highly recommend it for any type of venue you are looking for.
Horrendous golf course management. Never in my life have I had 4 groups on the Tee waiting twice in 1 round. Absolutely lazy on their part.
Just full of stores but they are pretty much spread out! Little entrepreneur stores in-between.
Outside service was very friendly. Course was in great shape. Can t wait to play again
Golf greens, amazing....cart girl friendly
Now...had a tourney: 35 wait late...then they put out reg golfers every 3 minutes...5 :45 to play around of golf...first 5 holes saw a ranger after that none...first 9 holes 3:45 ..next 9.. 2 hr many people drove by and just quit...two groups ahead of us driving all around greens specially par 3 ..
..
Overall the course is a decent layout and in average shape. The problem was that they were about 30 minutes late getting people off for their tee times. They didn't have enough carts and the pace of play was beyond brutal. There was no ranger of any kind and we waited on every hole. I would not return or recommend.
Tough, fun, rock and roll golf. The only dissapoinment was that the bunkers were wet after no rain. Going back next week in fact.
Course is in good shape, but cart path only was a stinker.
The guy (Jeremy?) with the "General Manager" badge ignored the phone while he surfed the web in the back office while I waited at the counter to play. I had to call 4 times before he answered. He promised me that the cafe would be open at the turn, but they were closed! The course is dried-out, and yardage markers besides the sticks are non existent. This used to be a beautiful course. Now it is third-rate!
Love this golf course , could play it for the rest of my life.
This place is great! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I also love that they have a mango wet towel for those hot days. I never realized how refreshing it could be. Very affordable as well.
Not what it used to be years ago. Need to put some money into it. A bit beat up
Decent course. Greens in TERRIBLE shape.
Also they claimed that they could not have the water coolers full because state law prevents it during covid, (false), however they would sell you a bottle of water for $3, convenient huh? shameful!
It was about 115 degrees out today.
I will not play there again.
Great value. We paid 15 for 18 holes with a cart. Had a great time. Front 9 is pretty nasty, back 9 was beautiful though.
Nice course, cart path only this day, bummer but the coarse was in great shape.
As always, the golf course is in good condition and the greens were rolling true to form! Will play there again!
Challenging but fun course. Lots of water. Some very difficult holes for high handicappers who can't hit select distances or "target" areas. Beautiful riparian views. Sand bunkers need more sand. Rack price a bit steep but a unique golfing experience is provided. Great friendly staff. Usually plays at a reasonable pace.
Golf Course was in great shape, love the sunset views!!!!
it's a great course that manages the heat fairly well
