Though it's my understanding this nursing and rehabilitation center will be under new ownership and management soon enough I want to give it a shoutout anyways!

In 4 years time now I've had both my mother and my father at this facility for rehabilitation and physical therapy and hands down they received the very BEST of care and concern from staff and management there.

The overall quality of life and care for the residents and families is truly second to none. As such I hope and pray that same quality of life and care is continued on under the soon-to-be new ownership and management for Superior Care Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center!

Located in the Information Age Park towards West Paducah, KY. just off Blandville Rd. directly across the street from Lynx Services, you can't miss it. They will take care of and treat your loved ones right through and through!

God bless you and your family always, see you there!

I was so happy Superior approved my mom, they were my first choice! Boy did they disappoint! The PTA's were absolutely amazing, as were the aides! Mom was on the third wing and the nurse there completely sucked! She has a colostomy bag and they let her leak twice in the 5 days she was there! It took them a couple of hours to respond to her both times! It wasn't like they were busy, each time I visited mom, which was at least twice a day, they were just sitting at the desk! It was a blessing when she had to go by ambulance back to Lourdes because her potassium was low, and I had to be the one to ask them to check her blood! Still SMH!

Let me start out by saying that the floor nurses and aides were absolutely amazing!! Now with regard to the CEO and her administration, we are very disappointed and borderline disgusted with how she treated our family during the final days/hours or my Grandmother's life. Eleven days into the hospice care of my Grandmother, the CEO and her administration decided to create some new rules out of thin air. She told my family that we're going to have to limit the amount of visitors to three during the day, two during the evening and one at night. Making up new rules on a whim...Wow! So being that immediate family was visiting from 3 different states, they left us with little other choice but to transport her someplace else during her last few hours/days. Superior Care had no problem cashing $10,000 checks each and every month, but when it came down to the most critical moments of my Grandmother's end of life journey they essentially said, "sorry, it's time to go now". Just to give you an idea of the type of organization you'll be dealing with, they don't even allow REVIEWS on their FACEBOOK page. WOW! Only a company that's interested in DAMAGE-CONTROL won't allow the family of their patients leave a review! Very clever Superior Care, very clever. It's honestly quite sad an pathetic. I also want to reiterate how amazing the floor nurses and aides were.

My mother has been in and out for rehab after breaking her leg and later having a knee replacement. These people are top notch. These people are great. They care for my 65 year old mother like she is their own. I also notice they provide the same care for the permanent residents (80+ crowd). They don't get frustrated and are quick to see the needs of the residents. If you need long term or short term care, this is the place.

This place was awesome! They took very good care of my husband and I observed the staff doing the same when many others. Not easy work, as they deal with people at low times in life. Having been a healthcare professional for many years, I know it s a tough occupation. We are thankful.

I am mortified at a few day shift employees, one in particular is a bully (to which if the universe holds a ying/yang her loved ones will endure the same care as she has provided to others.) sadly my father had to go for rehab after breaking his hip, these people refused to be bothered by anyone needing to toilet or requiring assistance to get to the dining room so on Easter Sunday they made him stay in bed bc they couldn t be bothered with getting the lift to get him out of bed into a wheelchair! On top of that they have rules that will not allow anyone that doesn t eat in the dining room to eat the food they serve there instead they told my dad on Easter Sunday in front of me he would have to stay in bed and eat in his room and that he was not allowed to have the ham dinner but rather he had to eat a pimento cheese sandwich !!! I was livid needless to say after I unloaded in the nurse for her rude arrogant bully aide I went home fed my family a beautiful meal with the freedom to choose the foods they like then I promptly went to the hospital with a heart attack.
I ve worked in health care for over 40 years and I have never seen such dehumanizing treatment of patients . The night shift were all very nice and extremely accommodating.
If the director thinks they are safe behind the once glowing reviews I promise you are not and if you have allowed this type of behavior from staff you should be fired.

I flew in to see my grandma and help take care of her.. I was sooo disappointed in superior care.... she has had the same sheets on her bed for my entire visit... which was 10 days... they were only feeding her broth... cause she was on a liquid spoke up about it and it got fixed for a few days now we're back to the same ole... all it takes is a phone call to find out what she is able to.have... I'm just frustrat3d at the lack of people just not really caring...

My husband was sent there for therapy after knee replacement but got very little therapy. Instead he was treated more like a prisoner than a patient. They go through all your belongings and keep what they want. When you try to inquire about missing items the person you need to talk to is never there. The patient is not allowed to leave the room except to go to the dining room for meals. (This is also considered their therapy.) The food is good but very little of it. They are only allowed one short visit per week. When I was finally allowed to visit after several days I noticed his legs were red and swollen. They had given him a bacterial infection that they were not even aware of until I brought it to their attention. The nurses were rude and uncaring. Don't be fooled by the name and big fancy building. The care they provide is far from superior.
