The service here is great, all the staff are really nice. The ambiance is great, it's a beautiful place. The food however is honestly not that good and it's obscenely over priced... like shameful. I was charged $25 for a kale salad that I added tuna to. The tuna was $7 and it was - no exaggeration - three pieces of seared tuna the size of half dollars. That is a rip off even by LA standards.

Places like this are contributing to the luxurification of healthy food by over pricing things merely so rich people think it's somehow better quality. It isn't. Kale has the same nutritional value no matter where you buy it from.

This is just another business contributing to the snobification of Venice and driving all the locals out of the neighborhood. If you want to enjoy a $30 salad literally two blocks down the street from a sprawling homeless encampment, surrounded by a growing community of people forced to live out of their vehicles while still calling yourself "progressive" then this is one of the many gems that Venice has to offer.
