The park was nice and clean
my only complaint is the children brought in on buses are roudy, rude and need more supervision
One child literally shoved my grandaughter into wall and when he was confronted he remarked,"I don't care." The lifegaurds are awesome but it is not their job to be the disciplinarian, that is the parents job
NO RESPECT FOR OTHERS

Good park with smaller kids but they rather be over 48' otherwise they can hardly go on any of the slides. In Europe my 4 year old can go with me on bigger slides but here all the regulations are so strictly enforced, so we could not have all the fun we hoped for. Also the 'no own food' policy is bit harsh in particular when there are no decent food options, just unhealthy fast food type of food.

EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY A GROUP OF 12 WE WERE THIS WEEKEND, BUT WHEN READING THEIR POLICIES, WE CANCEL, AS THEY ARE NOT GOING TO PASS WATER, THAT IS ABSURDING. WE ARE GOING ON CHILDREN WHO TAKE TOO MUCH LIQUID AND ALSO THERE IS A HEAVY HEAT, IN ANY PARK OF FLORIDA WATER ALLOWS TO PASS THE COOLERS WITH WATER AND SMALL ENHANCEMENTS ALTHOUGH YOU HAVE TO LEAVE IT IN THE ASSIGNED AREA OF REST. FOR ME AND MY FAMILY I WAS CANCELED AND WE WILL NEVER TALK ABOUT THAT PARK

Reasonable rates and fun attractions makes Sun Splash a great place to enjoy on a weekend with the kids. Even food prices are reasonable, should you decide to purchase from there rather than bring your own. Don't forget to wear sunscreen!

This place was a nice alternative to the more pricey water parks but one of the issues we had was how rigid everything was. Being a park yet they kept telling my son he had to stop running. That was the whole point of being him here in the first place so he could run around and get all his energy out. On a positive note the place was kept immaculate so it was a beautiful park to visit. We had to leave early because of a thunderstorm.

The other issue we had was how long it took to get on the water slides. After getting ready to go on the slides we had to wait for why seemed like forever considering the lines were very short.

Sunsplash is a good place to go to cool off in the summer but the clientele and crowds can be a little too much at times. We purchased an annual pass last year and did not renew because it is small and gets old fast.

Visited sun Splash two years now and it got closed twice, this year it was closed as the lightning alert was lifted. Could have spent another 1.5hours after waiting 1.5hours, but they closed completely

We visited on the last day of seasonal operation i...

We visited on the last day of seasonal operation in 2020. It also happened to be a $12 admission day, which apparently draws the local crowds. It was quite crowded, despite the fact that they were advertising reduced capacity.

They have quite a few slides to choose from. Small kids to adults should have no problem enjoying themselves. The lazy river was relaxing for the most part (when your tube wasn't being pushed around by an unsupervised 10 year old).

The food was typical of most waterparks. Not bad, but not great, and certainly not a good value (5 bucks for an Uncrustable?) It's going to run you at least 40 bucks to feed a family of 4. They don't allow outside food in the park, so budget accordingly or plan to tailgate in the parking lot.
My one biggest gripe is that they placed sand in many of the areas with the beach chairs. This sand gets all over your belongings and generally makes a mess of things.

There are lifeguards everywhere, and they are ON IT. No one gets away with shenanigans at this place.

We had a great time at Sun Splash and we'll probably be back.

There were a few nice hours in the water park armbands were banned pretty much at the beginning, but life jackets could be taken at the entrance at no extra charge.
Our daughters 2 and 4 were often disappointed because they weren't allowed to go on many slides. There were 4 identical children's slides that could only be slid without a life jacket AND without a parent. Neither was an option for our daughters !!!
There is no baby / children's area as we know it in Germany. The "children's area" is well set up, but far too wild and too wet for the very little ones, so it is really awesome that you have to pay almost $ 20 entry for children aged 2 and over.
We were there exactly on the birthday of our two year old and asked for a discount, at first there wasn't, but the cashier was pretty nice and asked what time the little one was born and then it was kindly free.
We were there at 11am and it was quite busy despite the cloudy weather.

Kudos to the lifeguards, who had everything under control and really stood on every corner.
A joke, on the other hand, was the $ 8 safe, which really only fit a backpack.

They charged me even though I didn't want to get into anything. This trip to this waterpark was only for my son. I explained to the ticket lady that I didn't want to do anything in the water park, she told me that they have to charge both me and my son. They really need to change this policy. I feel as though they robbed me of an admission. Other than that, my son enjoyed himself.

It is not a huge waterpark, but it is very clean and you'll see lifeguards and staff all around to help and assist whenever necessary. Make sure to check their website for opening hours as they close soon after school starts and you may also find better prices by buying your tickets beforehand. One last note, the lockers are rather on the small side, so make sure to not take too much stuff with you.
Again, it is not a big waterpark, but the lines tend to move swiftly and the rides are fun.

Sun Splash is a great place for the family. I believe it is still young in it's endeavours; for example, the food location and quality could be better for the price. I saw a building getting built. Perhaps a future restaurant? Our family has come here more than once and we shall return.

We took the kids to sunsplash for their special $1...

We took the kids to sunsplash for their special $10 entrance day. While we did have fun there were some things that were not so great, first was the food we got the chicken tenders and they were absolutely hard as a rock, dried out and stringy- definitely over cooked. For the price of their food it was definitely discouraging. Also wanted to order separate orders of fries but they said they weren't doing that because they were almost out of fries so could only get the fries if you ordered another meal combo. 2nd the amount of floats in the lazy river - there was barely any floats available at all- we had trouble even getting one float- I feel like they should've known how busy this promotion was going to make the place and should've prepared for things better. 3rd there really isn't much to do for kids under 48inches. The little otter slides were great fun. I know the pirates cove I guess usually helps distract the younger ones but unfortunately the whole pirates cove was closed and out of order. So all there was to do for under 48inch kids was the little otter slides and 2 other slides they could do because they were double tubes and could ride with an adult. Overall the kids did have fun and I don't mean to totally trash the place there were just some things that could've been better especially with better planning for an event.

Overall I would recommend for people and kids over 48 inches (I actually wasn't planning on taking my daughter until she was tall enough for this reason- but decided to try it out because a friend wanted to go)
Hopefully they will get the pirate cove area fixed so the smaller kids will have a little more to do. It was alright for a day out with little to do in the area to beat the heat.

I have lived in cape coral a long time. I have even worked at sunsplash for 2 years as a teenager and so has my oldest son.. I am very disappointed in the way things are being run and taken care of. #1 the life guards are constantly telling the kids what to not do even when they arent really doing anything at all. I understand the safety thing but these kids cant have fun at all when that's why we bring them there is to have fun. It seems like some life guards are playing cops. When the guards switch up stations some life guards are more strict than others. Some lifeguards dont tell kids not to run and some do. There were kids fighting in the lazy river to the point I had to tell them to stop and pull one kid off another. I reported to the life guard and she said "stop fighting" and did nothing! Even after the kid admitted he hit the other.
#2 even after all these years and a brand new kitchen there is STILL no organization in the kitchen! There were people standing around doing nothing while others were working doing EVERYTHING... and the food was terrible. The hotdogs were discolored .. the soda tasted funny and the fries were hard as if they were old and just terrible.
#3 the brand new pirate section in the kids area is already turning to trash. The flooring in the pool is tacky and there was blue stuck to my feet as if the bottom is dissolving. The stairs were loose and there were several things not working and broken . This place charges enough money to fix these things.
I spent a total of 92.00 and change and only stayed for 3 hours.
I dont think we will be returning anytime soon and I will also be sharing my experiences with friends. Our oceans are a mess and we thought this would be a great alternative.. we should have just went to new naples pool.
..i'm very very unhappy with the visit today.

A hot and sunny day for sure!! We took 5 grand kids....

Few important items....
1) couple key water rides closed. Not informed ahead of time.....major disappointment. They gave us free icw cream tickets....woopie do.

2) lack of adaquate shade... Totally not sufficient shade....

3) water bottles for sale....where? Total lack of water for drinking purposes. Not gona wait 30 minutes in crummy fast foid lune to get cold water!

4) you dont allow us to bring even our own water.....admission was about 150 bucks...no military discount and no mention from unfriendly register lady about senior pricing....

Rethink this disney theme here in tiny town.... It wont happen to us again....

I have been to larger water parks with more rides ...

I have been to larger water parks with more rides than this one. This one has only four complex water slides with variations of sliding, eg. with tubes or without. It also has a lazy river, mini slides for toddlers and place for the younger kids to play (shallow pool with slides and other fun activities). What I liked about this place is that it was not crowded at all. We went there on a weekend and there were no lines to any of the water slides. There is a restaurant on the premises which offers pizza, hamburgers, sandwiches, French fries, hot dogs. Unfortunately, it does not offer much of the healthy choices. There was only a side salad on the menu. The park also has two ice cream stops, an alcohol booth (beer and wine) and a gift shop. They offer locker rentals and cabana rentals. The price to the park is $5 for the parking per car, about $20 for adults admission if you are not a resident. They offer different prices for residents. Kids (certain age) and seniors pay a different rate. The park is open on certain dates so please check before you go. Water shoes are recommended as the grounds in the park get very hot. The kids have to be 48 to ride alone and 36 to ride with an adult.

Horrible! So small and waaayyyy over prices. I love an hour and half North of this water park we drive all the way there and spent the majority of the day. We were having fun until the drive home when my friends daughter got sick. She was running a fever and vomiting everywhere. It got so bad we ended up going to the hospital. We were there for 6 hours mind you AGAIN we live an hour and a half away!! We didn't get home until after midnight. The next day all 6 of us were sick with the same symptoms. Went to my local hospital and they found out that we had a bacteria in our body from the warm water that made us all sick. Not to mention the staff was extremely rude. I will never ever visit this park again. I'll save my money and go to Legoland which is closer and well kept

A family fun way to cool off when red tide keeps you from the beach. Huge lazy river. Slides for all ages, sandy beach area, large kiddy area and pool, fun pool activities, great food. Lounging areas for sun bathing, plenty of life guards to see that no one drowns. Fun way to beat SW Florida's summer heat
