Sunsplash Family Water Park Review

It was okay, little pricey but okay. Not alot to do wished it had more activities.

This park is small and the entry fees are too high. We drove half hour to get there only to find out the tot area was closed. They did reduce the price by $4 a ticket. There was not enough things to do for little children!!! We left after 2 hours! Was very disappointing considering we spent $100'to get in!

It would be a hoot if the few rides they have could stay open. 2nd time in two weeks their big slides were down. Some of the teens they have working there have some serious attitude problems. On the flop side-they were kind enough to give us a rain check if we left the park, but refunds were not negotiable.

Love going here. Not too far away. Not too expensive. The lifeguards are on their game to keep everyone safe. The kids love the water slides. It's a great place for the family on a hot day.

We had to leave twice due to weather issues. There was not enough cover from the sun. The price was good. I would go back again.

The lifeguards at Sunsplash are focused and quick to action. I feel very safe bringing my granddaughter and my special needs child to the park and they both love to go. The season passes are a great deal when purchased early in the season.

Great place to enjoy a water park on the cheap, but they should really filter the water more often.

Lots of fun for the family with lots of choices from lazy river to super duper slides. Not too large a park if you have elderly folks with the family unit.

I have 3 major concerns with Sunsplash family Waterpark... There are MAJOR MANAGEMENT ISSUES!!

1. The bathrooms are DISGUSTING! I wish i had my phone so i could take pictures of the nastiness.. And I'm not talking about a little toilet paper on the ground or somebody forgot to flush... I'm talking about the sanitary napkin garbage was ripped off the wall and rusting on the floor, there was dirty tampons and wrapers sitting on top of the tiolet paper dispenser. There was poop on the outside of the toilet bowl dripping down and alot of wet dirty toilet paper around the outside of the toilet. the toilet flusher was rusting I didn't even want to touch it.. it smelt horribly of pee and the mirrors are covered in water marks. And that was the woman's bathroom.. my husband said you dont even want to know about what men's bathroom looks like!! There is only 3 stalls and it was dark and dingy the perfect place for mold and fungus to grow and people walk in there with their bare feet. If people dont feel safe going pee in the bathrooms then where do you think they are peeing?? I hope i dont get an infection!
2. You have to be 48 inches tall to ride on the water slides And at the end of the water slides it is 5 feet of water. But your not able to wear your life jacket on the slide!! so my son who is 7 and 49in tall was not able to go on most of the water slides because it's 5 feet of water at the end and he didn't feel safe going down a waterslide without his life jacket and jumping into 5 feet of water.. Stupid Rule and NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN! and my son wasn't able to enjoy all of the water slides because of that rule. why do you have to be 48 inches tall with 5 feet of water at the other end and not allow life jackets on??? It doesn't make sense
3. The food service sucks!! ITS NOT LOGICAL.. You have to stand in line at one trailer to order the food, then get back in line at another line at another trailer to order your drinks and then get back in line at a third trailer to receive your food and drinks what a WASTE OF TIME and money! we took a family of four it was $40 to eat burgers and chips with a HUGE RUN AROUND! it took at least 30 to 45 minutes to get our food and it wasnt even busy!! There were 4 people ahead of us!!
WHO RUNS THIS PLACE? I WOULD LOVE TO COME IN AND FIX THE MANAGEMENT ISSUES AND MAKE THIS PARK GREAT AGAIN.. GET IT TOGETHER BECAUSE THIS PLACE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO MAKE HUGE MONEY!!!

The only reason i am giving this place 2 stars is because it was fun and my kids loved it!

Very slow today. Water was ice cold but once you jumped in it was perfect! Friendly staff at the shop. It's always a great place to go to entertain the kids!

I hadn't been there since before the fire. Place is clean, as always. Friendly, helpful staff and I caught the reduced, end-of-season price. Weather was perfect!

The water park is great itself, I just find it ridiculous you can't bring your own cooler, water and food.

Family place places to eat a lot of parking security

The water was really cold and they're wasnt a regular pool to just hang out.

Definitely perfect for birthdays or just a day out with the family which is what we did last weekend. Had a blast and it's bigger than I remember as a kid! My kids 5, 8, and 10 all LOVED it. They had GAINT slides, ice cream, water was warm, a 2 kiddy pool areas
Even though we got rained out, we will be going back soon!!

Great park. Only comment is that waiting areas should have a bit more shade.

We come every year for the past five years. The water always seems so cold, but this year the lazy river was amazing. It was warm and it wasn't super crowded.
