Terrible. My family came to Cape Coral on vacation and thought this would be a fun way to spend the day. The hours online say open 7 days a week 10am to 5pm. And if you call for the hours, the service just loops you back to the main menu. Turns out we drove 20 minutes to find out it's closed on weekdays. When I finally got through the phone service to talk to someone and inform them of the error, they were very rude. We will NEVER go back to this place

Positives:

Positives:
1) Lifeguards are plentiful and take their jobs seriously.
2) There are plenty of slides to keep the kiddos entertained for a while
..... I think I've covered the good.

Negatives: (I don't even know where to begin...)
1) pay for parking? In addition to $20 a person to get in? Obvious cash grab.
2) locker rentals are way over priced. Again, obvious cash grab.
3) women's changeroom/bathroom. Incredibly grungy, damp, gross, super crazy small and old. For how much cash these people are taking in, I can not fathom what in the world they are waiting on to deep clean, or better yet, update it. I'm a small woman, so if I think the change rooms are incredibly small, I can only imagine a larger gals difficulties. Its really terrible. The floor is very uneven, so it doesn't matter that there are drains for the water to go into from the changerooms.... The water just pools here and there. Everywhere. I'm not sure if I am walking through urine or water. It's super gross. There is no freaking way I am taking off my shoes. I had to give myself a 5-10 minute pep talk just to get changed in there. I'm not kidding.
4) I had not planned on getting wet, just went there to read a book and wait for the boys to get bored of the slides. Too bad. Not enough seating so I had to walk to the back of the water park (not bad, it's small) however, there are sprinklers/misters covering the sidewalks. You cannot escape them. So now my cushion memory foam flip flops are wet. I shouldn't have worn them to a water park, you are right. But I didn't think I would be forced into 'enjoying' the water via lawn sprinklers. Small complaint, but it didn't help my irritation at this place.
5) they will not allow outside food (water only) so you are chained to their greasepit. Its like this: it's a 3 trailor system... Stand in line for 30 mins here and order your food. Then go stand in the drink line for 15 mins to order your drink. Then take your ticket and walk all the way down to this random 3rd trailor that isn't even close to the other two to stand I line AGAIN for 20 mins to pick up your food. I couldn't even tell you about pricing, because as soon as I finally figured out where to freaking order, I noticed that you MUST walk through a sandpit to get there. There is no other way. THERE IS NO other way. So you have sopping wet feet and legs thanks to being assaulted by their sprinkler system, and now I have to get sand stuck to my wet skin just to order? Im not at the beach. How can this be the only possible way to order in this water park?

I will not be back. Not ever. Not even if it was free.

The park, the rides, everything is great...except the concession stand. The park wasn t even crowded. There were only 3 groups ahead of us in our line, it took us 45 minutes to ORDER food. And it wasn t like they were understaffed. There were plenty of people standing around doing nothing. It was like the entire process of ordering food, making it, and giving it out was designed by teenager that had been working in the restaurant/concessions business for 2 months. My recommendation is to get your hand stamped, go to a nearby fast food place, and come back.

A fun, but small, city-owned water park. A small tot area is currently under construction. Your standard spped slide, open 2 person curvy slide, lazy river and a couple dark slides. Cafeteria type food and beverage. Non-heated water. Fun for a couple hours.

Lots of fun for the family at a reasonable price. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the place needs some shaded areas, and they aren't open in the winter when the snowbirds are here, being city run and always turning a loss you would think they would extend the hours...

Stole over $50 from me! It was the last week of the season. I take my family pay for admission and parking. We enter the park, my daughter climbs to the top of a slide (<5min) and the lighting alarm sounds and they evacuate the park. We never even put a toe in the water. We then say "ok, well since they are shutdown and we were in for <5minutes let's just get a refund and go home." They denied the refund and closed the park for the entire day. So Sun Splash and the city of Cape Coral swindled us out of over $50. We will never go to Sun Splash. I have instead started driving 2.5hr to Orlando and taking my family to the Disney water parks. Sun Splash should be permanently closed. Cape Coral destroyed the nice Lake Kennedy beach to build another way to swindle it's citizens.

Forget trying to get anything fixed with the management here. I did not understand a policy and simply asked to have it clarified and get reamed by the manager saying I can go someplace else. Therefore I did. I bought season tickets to universal's waterpark and will not return here

Garbage place. Poor management, everyone has a poor attitude. Plus, it's just gross. Tons of people get infections from scraped knees or other minor injuries. That should tell you something. It's gross.

Went to SS this weekend with the family and its wasn't to shabby. On many other weekends we have gone its been super packed but this weekend was actually nice. Kids went on the slides with minimal wait times and the pool area wasn't over flooded with people. They do need to tweak the communication a little. I know they are still constructing the office part that burned down but we paid our tickets, got into the park and then had to go back out to a temp trailer to get a key for the locker. That should have been mentioned upon purchase. The water level in the lazy river was a little low this weekend which was strange. The pirates cove area for the kids is a really nice touch. My two year old really enjoyed it.

Went for my daughter's birthday party and we all had a blast. Fun for every age group. The bathrooms could be a little bit cleaner near the entrance but I'm sure they are used frequently. Also they did run out of many types of ice cream & lids for the cups which made it difficult for the smaller children. But we didn't let that ruin our time.

For a water park that is funded by a government it's actually decent. Do not confuse this with a "real" water park. It's much smaller, but I think that works for where it's at.

The price is reasonable, and there are decent attractions. The food is typical, the price is on par with other water parks. Apparently there is a discount if you live in Cape Coral, but you need to provide your zip code on a driver's license to get the price.

My 5 year old daughter loves it here, so I love it here.

20$ + Tax per person, no snacks or drinks except water are allowed from outside ... inside everything 5 times overpriced and of bad quAlity ...
At the entrance the bags are checked by the staff and if they find something you have to go back to the car and leave it there.
Once inside ... on a Tuesday was overcrowded, the water stinks, there are some new construction going on, hot dog stands are closed, the toilet stinks and is dirty... there is no shadow to seat or lay -... not a good experience at all.

this waterpark was on the smaller side, yet big enough to be enjoyable. we got rained out when i went, and they ended up closing for the day because of thunder. for the time that we were there, i had a lot of fun. the prices were reasonable, and the food was okay. definitely not my favorite waterpark, but still really fun!

Kinda dingy. The lifeguards seem vigilant. The tubes and lot of equipment seem pretty aged. Food looked decent. Clientele was mostly tattoo'd up and such--take that how you will.

Gotta pay for parking, ticket, and locker.

Was fun for the kids though!

Horrible experience! The park caught on fire last year and many areas were closed. It caught on fire again this year and they must be low on funds. The water level was low, very cloudy and leafy. To get food you wait 20 - 30 minutes to a trailer then take your ticket to another trailer and wait another 20 minutes. All trash cans full of garbage. Filthy Tables and seating. Gross bathrooms. Limited seating and very yellow and old. Staff and life guards rude, tired and treat kids like animals. Cover charge went up and lockers are $6 -cash only at another trailer. Cabanas $35 or $125 Small ice cream $4 shake $5 The owners of this park are getting richer and not maintaining the park!

I live in Lehigh and have come to Sun Splash a few times with my daughter, she is now at the age where she can really enjoy it - we would probably go more if we lived closer but it is great way to spend the day.

Our first visit was successful. We enjoyed a beautiful memory of lazy river floating which was my favorite so peaceful. Our 11 yr old son had a blast on the more adventurous water slides with my husband. We appreciate the real family feel safe and attentive lifeguards at every ride. Truly a special place to be with family and make memories and be happy

actually a pretty nice water park, not very cheap but they take care of the security, lifeguards walk around every corner. there is something for every age group, my daughter is 6 and unfortunately still 5 cm too small so she couldn't slide many slides. I would visit this water park again with the hope that my daughter is 5 cm taller :-)

Very fun water park, the best one you are going to find in cape coral. kinda pricey but reasonable. On weekends the lines are cancerous so have your parents pick you up for some fun in the sun on a weekday.

A weird water park. Although we have been coming to Cape Coral for several years, both in July and August, we have never experienced this park openly. According to opening hours today until 17 clock but at 15.30 clock no more cars in the parking lot. From the outside he makes a reasonable impression, but no value is placed on Chichi, it's all about slipping. Adult $ 19.95 plus $ 5 parking.

I went there and it was fun'the slides were fun and so was the lazy river. There are a decent amount of things to do. The food wasn't great but it was good. The price for the food was to much for what they give you. My mom bought cheese sticks for like 7 bucks and only gave me 4 sticks. Do you really think a 13 year old would get full out of that. After a while it started to storm 10 MILES AWAY (no exaggerate). Disney and adventure island does a warning when it starts storming 1 mile away. We were there for only a few hours and gave no rain check to us while everyone else got one. We spent over 150 dollars just for 2 and a half hours for that. People were there for like 5 hours and still got a rain check. If your going to go to a water park, go to Disney or adventure island. They actually have service and give rain checks no matter what.
