Sunny Service company Review

Sunny Service was the first proper AC company I used that wasn't assigned by a home warranty company. The difference in professionalism and expertise was night and day. Of the technicians that I have worked with, I want to give a special shout out to Stephen. He was thorough in his explanations, kind, prompt and efficient. A speciate note that Stephen came to my home during the Covid-19 lockdown time period and I felt completely safe as he respected all of the safety protocols to the tee. If I gave one note of improvement to Sunny Service, it would be that the call center needs better training. They pale in comparison to the awesome service provided by the ladies in the actual Sunny Service office who are both amazing and extremely knowledgeable. THANK YOU Sunny Service for helping to mend an unbelievably bad run for me of previous AC companies and for helping restore my faith in the industry.

Stephen and his supervisor were awesome to work with, they let me hang around to ask questions about my unit as they worked. Very smart and honest group of individuals who knew exactly what they were doing and did not cut any corners through the whole process. Wish I knew of this company when I first moved in to my new home! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an honest A/C company in the area.

Brandon got out to me quickly in the quoted time, explained the problem and how to prevent it in the future, and fixed my AC issues. I will be using them again in the future.

Our AC stopped cooling and we called Sunny Service on Sunday morning. Less than 2 hours later our technician Brandon came to our home, diagnosed and replaced the capacitor. He was very polite, knowledgeable and super efficient. He explained every step and made sure everything was working again. I highly recommend this company and Brandon. Prices were very affordable!

Started with a early morning phone call (7:15am) spoke with Sean and decided I needed a comfort advisor to come out and discuss our replacement options.

Brendon came out and was very polite and knowledgeable about the current system we had and the new systems we had to choose from. After deciding our needs and taking a heat load measurement we settled on a 3 ton 16seer 2 stage system.

Mason and his crew came out the next morning and had me cooling down after lunchtime. Mason walked me through the system and gave me a great teaching experience on how a HVAC system works.

I would like to mention we did get two other bids from contractors our AHS program offered and both were higher that Sunny Services quote. I couldn t be happier with my decision and would highly recommend Sunny Services if in the need to replace or repair a system.

On 9/16/20 my a/c stopped working. I called Sunny Service and they sent Brandon to do the repair. He was here at the time he said he would and used texting to keep me updated on his arrival time. Once he made the repair and advised me of cause of the problem. He is very knowledgeable and good at relaying this information in layman terms . I will use this company again and recommend it to others.

I recently had to have my HVAC system totally replaced. My experience with Sunny Service was outstanding from the very beginning. Moe, the initial technician, did an excellent job of explaining all that was occurring with the system. Once I decided a new HVAC system was needed, Todd came to the house and very thoroughly explained all of the options open to me. Matt and Brandon completed the actually installation with the greatest professionalism. Kim, who is a manager with the company, was very helpful with any questions I had, or letting me know when the service was to be completed. I highly recommend using them as your AC service provider.

I purchased two complete furnace/air conditioners through Costco. Brendon verified what size units were needed, set up the purchase of the units and scheduled the installation for the very next day. Mason and Alfonso arrived right on schedule to do the installation. The first thing they did was to put down drop cloths to protect my carpet. They then worked diligently, efficiently, and professionally until the installation was finished. Mason took the time to explain to me how the system and thermostats worked and also gave me the manuals to reference in case I forget. After the installation was complete, they set about cleaning and putting everything away. Mason even vacuumed the carpet, even though it was protected by the drop cloths. I am extremely pleased with Sunny Service because of Mason, Alfonso, and Brendon, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing a new air conditioner.

Samuel was greattttt!!! Our heater broke down with small children in the house and this rain made the house pretty cold . He came and fixed everything Very fast!!!!!! Very efficient!!!!! 5 stars for his service!

Excellent guys! 11 hours of work and they kept at it at all times! Very respectful, trustworthy and cleaned any mess they made. With at least 6 guys who came out to help get things started, they worked great as a team.

Were able to be in a extremely timely matter. They check out our unit, told us what was wrong and how much it would cost before they did the work. The technicians were knowledgeable, friendly and respectful of our health issues during a time when everyone is suspicious of letting people in their homes. Great work and will be using them again as needed!

I do NOT know where to start with how impressed we were with Sunny Service, but Mason and his team did a friendly, flawless and thorough job. We had three separate impressions: Juan (the original technician sent for initial inspection), Todd (who reviewed new HVAC system options in addition to suggestions for additional home benefit & air circulation), then last.. but certainly not least, Mason and his team who came out and did the full-blown, labor intensive unit installation.

Mason was a friendly face that met my family bright and early, and was just an all around good guy. The job was done beautifully and I did not know it was possible to feel so at ease while having your AC units replaced, in the summer, in Texas.

Todd and Mason truly went above and beyond with exceeding any and all expectations our family had, and CAN WE TALK AT HOW REASONABLY PRICED this company is?! Highly, highly recommend.

Anthony was at my house less than two hours after I called. He was professional, courteous, and informed. He was able to fix the problem and get the system back up and running. This is a new company owned by experienced people with techs that are well trained. I was very pleased with my service. Plan on making them my new HVAC company.

I was impressed from start to finish with everyone I worked with at Sunny Service. Our ac went out, and Amber was able to have a technician at my house same day - in less than 2 hours in fact. Technician Stephen quickly diagnosed the problem and thoroughly explained the issue and the options we had. Due to the age of our unit, we requested to have a sales consultation for a total system replacement. Stephen was able to coordinate a sales appointment with Brendon that same afternoon. Brendon arrived on time and provided a comprehensive analysis of what system would be best for our home. We opted for a complete replacement. It was scheduled the same week, and they actually were able to locate the equipment and move up the date of install by a day. Mason and Alejandro were prompt and courteous. Everything was explained and install was completed same day with care taken every step of the way. I could not be happier with the service received from all of the Sunny Service team!!!

Great people to work with. Very prompt, Moe and his team came by and helped I was low on freon in my A/C unit and they did some test and even helped me set up my Nest I had just installed to make sure everything was functioning properly. Moe walked me though on what he was doing, very informative. Don't hesitate to call these guys.

Came out, right on time. Took extra care in making sure I understood the ins and outs of my current system as well as options to improve it. Ended up getting a quote for a Lennox system as well as receiving their tune up service. No pressure to commit to a purchase right away as well as some candid options to improve affordability if I wanted something else. Definitely will be using them in the future for any HVAC needs.

This company is amazing. We of course lost our ac in the middle of a Texas summer. They could not come out to replace our unit for a week. Which as lots of you know is a dreadful thing. They came out within two days with a temporary unit to get us through that week of waiting. Thank you Stephen and Todd. You really saved us and made the process easy.

This is the best HVAC group I have ever worked with, and I have done seven remodels on old (over 90 years) homes. I met Todd Truly at the home show and he helped assess and recommend fixes to a recent remodel and botched HVAC work. His 30 plus year experience and continued passion for his work makes him the best of the best. His crew reflected that same spirit when they came out to do the work. They were delightful, polite, knowledgeable and courteous. They worked 13 hours, always put their booties on in my house and kept me informed throughout the process. Todd came back to do another assessment to assure his recommendations had the required result. I cannot say enough good things about Sunny Service, todd Truly and their crews.

Sunny Service team was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I was putting new AC into a 100 year old home that had been converted into a duplex.
It was not an simple installation. They had to design a system to run ducting though very small spaces.
They did it with out destroying the architecture of the home.
They did a fantastic job and I recommend them to anyone need HVAC systems.

He offered to let me watch and explain the process and how everything worked as he worked. He helped me understand and helped me understand the whole process better. Very prompt and professional service. When the heat index outside is forecasted to be 107 and your kids wake up sweating in their beds because the A/C isn t working, you need reliable service and fast! I sent a request through Home Advisors just after 10:30 am on a Saturday and Sunny s called within 10 minutes. He explained a few things about their service and how they do business, gave me a quote for the service call and got me scheduled on a technician s next stop. I received a text message as promised with information about the technician that would be arriving and his expected arrival time. Stephen, the technician, called about an hour before our scheduled appointment to say that he d completed the call before mine a bit early and could be at my home in 15 minutes if it was convenient for me. He arrived as expected, in uniform and showed his business ID and was masked, gloved and ready to inspect my A/C units and investigate the problem. Stephen explained everything he found and what the recommended fix was including how much it would cost. He also suggested their service membership but wasn t aggressively selling me something I didn t need or wasn t interested in. I felt very comfortable that the service I received was fairly priced and was the needed repair for my A/C problem. My A/C was back up and running in less than an hour of Stephen s arrival. It took several hours for my house to cool back down to the desired temperature but my upstairs unit is now working better than it was before! My kids woke up to nice cool rooms the next morning. We are definitely satisfied with the professionalism and knowledgeable service that we received and will use Sunny s for our A/C and heating service needs from here on out!

In spite of the unprecedented Winter weather and an overloaded schedule, he arrived prepared for my request to check both the furnace and the thermostat and I m extremely grateful for his expertise.

My AC went out Friday night, Saturday comes and i could not get a hold of any company to come check it. Just when i thought no one would call me, Sunny Services called. They where her at the promised time and in just 20 mins my AC was working again. Kyle knew what he was doing and found the problem with the AC in a matter of seconds. We just had Sunny Service replace two 4 ton systems in our home. We got bids from four contractors.

First off, Todd Truly at Sunny, was the only estimator who truly (pun intended) listened to our goals and issue we were having with our current systems. He spent well over an hour, walking our home and analyzing exactly what could be done to improve our environment and address the hot and cold spots in our home. He developed a plan to improve our living spaces and correct issues in our current system. Not one other contractor did this. Todd provided a competitive price and we were sold.

The lead install tech Mason, was outstanding, as was his entire team. They minimized their intrusion in our home and executed the plan Todd had written up timely and with minimal disruption. Mason is a great attribute for Sunny Service.

Today the City of Keller inspector came out to check for code. He said everything was perfect. He added that he knew it would be as soon as he saw Sunny was the contractor. The inspector said he sees everybody in the areas work, and he personally feels the Sunny installation team (Mason) is the best in our market. The job is always perfect. A very pleased customer here...

Both of our A/C units went out within a month of each other in June and July. Sean really took care of us... he sent a technician out right away to assess, he answered all of my questions, and took the time to help me understand all my options. The service guys were polite, professional, kept me informed throughout, and cleaned up after the work was done. Sean is a true professional and has a great team.

Great Job! They actually got out to the house within an hour of my call for new service. Through diagnosis, great explanations of problems and solution options with prices. He had all the parts and got me fixed up on the first trip. They actually replaced the system at my old house a couple of years ago and did a great job of following up on the installation.

We used these guys for our HVAC replacement. They ended up being the middle of the road bid but threw in some extras. The techs were knowledgeable and friendly. They helped me learn about our system. They also set up check ins to tune everything up. The lennox system we bought works fantastic but is kinda loud after a few months. They say it is working as intended. Highly recommended for a local company to use for your hvac services.

I highly recommend Todd Truly with Sunny Service Heating & A/C! I called about replacing A/C unit and furnace that were the original units put in the house in the mid 80 s. Todd came out following day and inspected the attic thoroughly. He found ducting that was split open and return air was going up into walls and into attic. We were essentially heating and cooling our attic along with getting lots of dust in the house. His very polite and courteous crew came out the following day and completed the job that day. They cleaned up inside and out of house. City inspector was out the following day and said the work was all done perfectly! The cost is very reasonable and you will receive a winter discount. Johnny was very knowledgeable, took the time to comprehensively explain the "Air Scrubber" and answer all of our questions prior to beginning the installation process. After he efficiently and effectively installed the "Air Scrubber," he asked us to see the "Air Scrubber" in operation explaining that the blue light lit up on the outside of the "Air Scrubber" was an indication the UV light was properly functioning. He let us ask additional questions and provided us with his business card since we need a good HVAC company for our residential heating and air conditioning needs in the future. Kevin

This was the first time I have used Sunny Service. They were able to schedule an appointment for me within hours of calling. The technician showed up early and had my heater up and running quickly. They were professional, efficient, and friendly!

They are the absolute best. We ve never been pressured and always had great service. They have attention to detail and were honest when others were not. We had a problematic unit that caused a lot of call outs. We had their annual plan and it paid off. We now have a new unit and will continue with the annual plan. They truly are a five star service.

Mason and his crew from Sunny Service came out and replaced our 15 year old A/C system and the work they performed was top notch. These guys worked tirelessly for 12 hours to make sure the system was installed correctly and running optimally. I'm certain they would have worked even longer if they needed to. These guys don't cut corners. My family and I are going to reap the benefits of their hard work for many years to come.
