We were somwhat disappointed in our room. It was our anniversary and we were put next to an a joining room whete we could hear their television. We did not ask to change because by the time we realized it we had unpacked.

Sundance feels like home. Such a beautiful peaceful resort and thei still have all threw terrain I've ever desired - steeps, cliffs, bumps, terrain park, trees, and wide open groomers.
Amazing place! 6th year we ve been at this magical place where there is calm, peace and creation takes place! Love it and it is hands down one of our favorite places!
Good resort for casual skiers and snowboarders. It's typically warmer, more crowded, and icier than other resorts, but for a quick run with younger or less experienced group it's what you want
Great place to visit. I went on a fall drive through the Alpine Loop and got some lunch at Sundance. The scenery was so good I bought a round trip ticket on the ski lift to see some more. I couldn't have asked for a better lunch break/stop.
I was there to enjoy the haunted ski lift attraction during October. It wasn't actually scary, but rather just some good fun with friends and family. I felt that everyone working at the resort was super friendly. The "actors" on the ride were fun to interact with and had great energy.
My daughter Abbie and I spent half the day skiing and the other half snow biking. It was great fun! I caught an edge a couple of times and went down harder than a 57 year old likes to go down. We had a ton of fun! The mountain biking in the summer is great fun! I'm getting better at my downhill skills but Archie's Loop is a favorite!
We went to the Halloween Lift event and loved it! The ski lift ride was so fun and our three year old absolutely loved it and wanted to ride it again! It was a fun atmosphere and a good balance of little kid friendly and scary for older people.
I like brighton alot, the runs are flatter and the overall atmosphere is better. Sundance is ok, they try, and for the size its ok. Its more of a convenience resort. I have a season pass there because it allows me to go snowboarding. As far as moguls g, i really didnt see any and i think there is a even ammout of snowboarding and skiing.
I always go back. The food isn't bad and the atmosphere is unmatched. They made a small mistake with my food, but quickly and politely corrected it when I mentioned it.
The bottom cafe was really good very homely. Except the top of the mountain the hut up there had the smell of cat pee. It was very unpleasant needless to say we just went to the bottom of the mountain. I'm not one of those people who will let that ruin my experience so I only took of one star for that.
The Music Man was quite enjoyable! Each performer did can excellent job with their character. The sound balance was off when they sang with the instrumental track, it was hard to hear the vocalists. But the overall show and atmosphere was wonderful.
Dated expensive cottage, no fridge, no microwave, no AC, tons of people packed into restaurants and half the people walking around not wearing masks or practicing safe precautions
I attended the production of Oklahoma at Sundance Mountain Resort. It was a phenomenal protection, really professional, and the location was beautiful. I highly recommend getting the lawn admission for attending a play there. Even if it was more expensive, I would still recommend it. Just get there early. Also, it is really nice to park in the upper parking lots even though they are technically overflow. You can just walk to the amphitheatre a much shorter distance. Otherwise you have to ride the shuttle and/or hike a ways. Sundance is beautiful, a great spot for a date. The bugs really aren't bad at all also, don't worry too much about bug spray. Oh, and you are totally allowed to bring food, it just can't be in a big cooler. Just bring like basically a little lunch for you and who you came with. If you are sitting on the grass, then you probably are getting there early, so you will have some time to just enjoy sitting there so, you will have some time to eat a little meal too. It is perfect.
This place is absolutely fantastic. It is an extremely well run and thought out resort. The personnel are very well trained an care deeply about the customer experience. The food at the facilities is also superior, whether it s a burger, or a fancier dish. There are a large number of kids there at times. They seem very happy with their experience.
There is a nice waterfall hike one can take using the tram to get up high, then hiking downhill. Moderate difficulty.
Beautiful and relaxing, a great change from the experience in Moab and the brutally hot National Parks.
The cabin we enjoyed was quiet and very well decorated. 100 percent immaculate.
We paid approximately $300 a night and it was a good deal for what you get.
Went to Sundance to go hiking with my family. Unfortunately there was lighting and we could not go up the 2nd lift. The wait time for the deli was really long, but the quality of the food totally made up for that.
Enjoyed the peaceful resort during a long weekend trip to attend a wedding. Took advantage of the surroundings with hikes, spa, and zip line- great adventure. All staff was friendly and helpful. Don t miss the Owl Bar, best Manhattan and breakfast at Foundry delicious.
Went skiing for the first time here! The winter has been especially dry so not as much snow as would have been ideal, but overall good maintenance and marking for what they had. Also, we had a pretty painful fall and ski patrol responded and arrived quickly, and provided kind and thorough assistance.
although small, this resort has great snow and a good variety of runs. it is much smaller than the other local resorts, but this also means it is cheaper.
I've been to Sundance countless times over the years for a variety of occasions, and it's always a delight. The scenery is beautiful and the venues are lovely. It's a pretty quick drive up Provo Canyon to get there. Just be warned that you won't have cell service (not necessarily a negative) and that the grounds and pathways aren't lit too well at night!
If your in the SLC area this is a must stop. I 'll e this place year round. We are from Vegas and love to just sit and relax by the fire or take a walk around. The tree room is fun and has delicious food. A must see. Thank Robert Redford love this place.
I like to ski there because it has a homie feeling everyone that works there is friendly and most of all I can walk out my house and be on the lift in about 20 minutes or 30 at most!
We took the opportunity to visit the Sundance Resort in August of 2020. Upon driving up and checking into the front desk, we were not greeted immediately though we were the only ones in the lobby. We were given a studio cabin (#18) that was in desperate need of a new mini-fridge and a new patio. The lights were off to the hallway and we struggled going downstairs and finding a light that could help lead us to the room. We quickly decided this would not work for us and paid to upgrade to a mountain view room (#22). 1/2 of the lights were out on the walkway, which we reported a couple of times, the bathtub jets didn't work until maintenance came to fix them, the ice machine nor filtered water didn't work in the refrigerator (I was told that they were never hooked up??!!), some of the outlets only worked when certain switches were turned on, there was no AC and the entire room was just very outdated. The staff throughout the resort were apathetic, from the restaurants to the coffee bar to the front desk staff. The delivery people (for a fan, ice...), were nice and the grounds for the resort were very pretty, but man, the service...
Sundance resort is a gem! Everything was build in the right place! Is so cozy, beautiful! Weddings here would be magical. The scenic is fantastic for pictures. They have great restaurants and a nice gift store. I love coming here to hangout. So worth every time!
I went up for a chairlift ride with my girlfriend. I was able to find very good parking. Besides a little bit of debris that fell on me during the ride at the top of the first lift, which caused a little nervousness on my part, I would have to say everything was very nice. There had been rain the previous day, so everything was exceptionally green. It was beautiful.
Great place to stay orjust to visit for a night out. The staff is always super friendly and the restraunts are top notch. We had a banquet dinner for my workplace and stayed the night. The food at the event was verry good and the room was verry comfortable and well maintained.
Everything about our brief stay was a positive experience. The cabins, the people, the food, the scenery, everything was simply perfect. Every detail has been considered and presented in a rustic and wonderful way.
Planned a weekend for a global group of friends. From reservations to checkout, all was wonderful despite pouring rain, early snow, and cold. Staff team is terrific- empowered to help. Spa, art classes, dining at both restaurants and deli, and shopping were all top notch. Loved the outdoor market.
I'm sure I'm just echoing other reviews about this wonderful place. I had a room that was incredibly "rustic" and comfortable. And walking around the property was very very pleasant. I've never been to a resort, other those in Hawaii, where the property being very natural and not man made, added to the experience of the stay.
