Sundance Mountain Resort Reviews

We had a great experience, all staff members from the shuttle driver, rental staff, to the lifts were helpful and friendly. We went on a holiday weekend and had a great time smooth operations. I would highly recommend.

This a great resort just a stone's throw from Provo. They have great shows, ski slopes, summer trails, and restaurants.

Beautiful place, great skiing and lots to do even in the summer, staff is great and super friendly

One of the smaller gems among the behemoth ski resorts in Utah. Robert Redford has kept it intimate and more personable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Whether you're eating in the Tree Room or a more cozier setting in the Blue Bird Cafe, the food is good, if a little on the more expensive side. But the prices aren't out of line compared to other resorts. The slopes provide a variety of terrain for all skier types. Although, there are fewer choices due to the planned size of the resort.

Went mountain biking with my son. Great bonding time. Scenery is inspirational. Bike trails for all levels of expertise. Not as crowded as Park City resorts.

Gorgeous views and fantastic restaurants throughout. Loved just walking around and exploring, definitely would like to come back in the winter time.

Lovely setting... If you get here during a full moon, the ski lift runs in the evening for a spectacular view! Be sure to save room for a hot chocolate while riding the lift.

Nice Ski resort, there's a nice trail that leads up to a very beautiful waterfall.

Great place, friendly staff. Don't skip the zipline if visiting during the summer season. Stayed on River Run, charming cabins.

We were, unfortunately only there for one night. But, oh, how we love Sundance! Gorgeous, cozy, welcoming, friendly and classy! Just our style. And every staff member was a true gem. Our zip-line tour was a blast! Thank you for making my guy s birthday a true delight!

Went to the Owl Bar up at Sundance and had excellent service from all of the staff. Highly recommend.

Went the to music in the summer. It was pretty good music. Not the greatest but its free so you can t really beat that.

Beautiful! You can take the ski lift to the top of the mountain at the top is a restraunt and then you can hike down or take the lift.

Saw Joseph and the dream coat. It was amazing! The outdoor theater is so beautiful. Will have to go back to see more.

Rode the ski lift to the top. Perfect activity for a summer day. Had awesome nachos at the top. Watched people zipline and ride mountain bikes.

Stunning scenery. Magical mountain peaks, expansive Aspen groves and fresh alpine air. The Foundry Grill has a great menu (I recommend the filet or the pork chop) and be sure to wash it down with a mountain cooler or sip on a hot cup of Wassail. It s like drinking Christmas!

Love this place. Can't wait for winter so I can ski.

We attended Sundance for the Halloween lift. It was very nice. It's family friendly but also a little spooky at times.

We absolutely love Sundance!! The only downside was with our room. When we flushed the toilet, it sounded like a flash flood. On the other hand, the shower barely had a trickle coming out of it and was very hard to regulate the temperature. Other than that, it was great!

Fun getaway even for a few hours on a hot day in the valley, it is like 30 degrees cooler up the canyon.

Delicious food and atmosphere, but a bit pricey for locals.

Went for a day of early-season slopes. Roads leading to the resort were maintained and easy to drive. Plenty of friendly, respecting, and knowledgeable staff in the parking lot and throughout the resort to help whenever I needed it. Public restrooms were clean. Overall a fun day and great experience.

The Halloween lift ride combined with the live music at the Owl Bar made for a fantastic evening.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Food was on point... Grounds could use some tlc.

Surrounded by the beautiful mountains and trees, Sundance exudes a feeling of zen and relaxation. The food at the Foundry Grill is an amazingly delicious treat to the pallet.

A wonderful and thoughtful resort located in a beautiful setting. The staff was attentive and helpful and the accommodations were charming and well designed.

Stayed here for an anniversary trip. We had a really nice time! The resort is really beautiful overall, and the food at the restaurants is great. They also gave us a lift pass to check out the sights while we were there, and that was fun!

The room itself was fine. It was cozy and secluded, but not quite as nice as I was expecting for the price. Also, the resort itself lacked way-finding signs, which was a little annoying.

Great place to spend a day or even a half day close to Provo

I went to Sundance to ski at night with my wife and mother. It was the first time for my wife and we taught her how to do it. I like what I can ski at night for those who have no experience but I like the springs to the north more.

Lifties manhandle the mountain bikes. Last minute race course changes. Way to much flat/uphill fire road on the "DH" course. Slowest chairlift in the world.

Zip lime was like no others I've done before very intense and fast

On my last day in SLC we rented a car to go to Sundance. It is smaller (like Brighton or Solitude size) but not as good snow conditions at least when we were here. Still had a great time and they are cheaper

We were there for some snacks in the evening, but the views all around were breathtaking. The road up from there to Mt Timpanagos is great during fall.

Great for snowboarding. It was $25 for half-day for a number of good snowboarding tracks. Learning area for very beginners, a bar and rentals.

We went for a memorial service, the cabin area we were at was very clean and nicely kept. I have a 2 Mo old baby and the restrooms/mothers room down stairs was very cozy! The food was very good and I especially LOVED the lemonade!

One of our favorite places. Beautiful scenery. Delicious food options. Always fun.

We ate at the Foundry Grill and had an amazing meal with amazing service. The prices are steep, but we'll worth it if you can afford it!

pretty small compared to other resourts. good for a day but not really enough runs for more than one.

I was cycling the Alpine Loop and Sundance was the perfect pit stop for truing my wheel and topping of my water bottles... People seem really happy to be here... Good times!

the mountain bike trails are actually pretty good for a ski resort. I do wish they stayed open later though

Sundance is so beautiful compared to so many other resort in Utah. It may not be as big or has as much high end outdoor equipment. But no other resort can beat the few, food, and stay there.

We went to do the ziplining tour and it was fantastic. Beautiful views, safe and comfortable experience, and some of the best customer service from their team. We worked with Morgan and Lauren and they were the best!

I have never come up when it was summer, the view was simply amazing. Was able to take some good shots of the mountains and was really relaxing. I recommend this to anyone that loves nature.

The resort is spectacular. The food at The Foundry Grill is delicious or it's fun to see the artists at the studios.

Friendly staff. Snow wasn't great yet and it was raining.

A must see if your in the area. Very nostalgic and romantic place to visit for the day or spend a couple of nights
