Very well appointed hotel. Helpful staff and good location.

I went away with friends and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The staff, from the minute we arrived to the time we left, were absolutely brilliant...nothing was too much trouble. Our rooms were beautiful and clean and had the best views, no matter which side of the boat you were on...although we were advised that on a weekend the sunny side may be quite loud due to the bars and restaurants. We stayed harbourside and despite being the side of the airport we didn't really notice the planes coming in...although that wouldn't have bothered us anyway! The whole hotel was beautifully kept, and the sun deck and bar, although small, had a great vibe...cocktails were delish too! And the breakfast and afternoon tea were just perfect! Whether you're an explorer, like we were, or want to stay in one place I honestly can't recommend the Sunborn enough... We'll definitely return, might even take my family next time, lol!

Had an excellent deluxe room here. Modern feel and excellent location. Despite spending a lot of time in Gibraltar I had never stayed here before. I've just booked again for two more weeks! Worth paying a bit extra.

Best hotel in Gibraltar by a stretch. Excellent service and very nice rooms, and the food is fantastic. There's a casino in the hotel if you're feeling lucky and a rooftop bar, too, and the hotel's located in Ocean Village close to plenty of bars & restaurants.

Stayed for 2 nights , great location and exceptional staff! Might be slightly more expensive than other places but worth the extra expense ! Close to airport , town and bus station . The bed was the best I've ever slept in . Housekeeping service was 5* to suite this yacht . Will be returning in the summer. This hotel is much more than just a hotel and is worth the travel from England in itself! Thank you

What a lovely place to stay. The staff are lovely and so helpful. The breakfast is really nice and there is such a choice! It's near the boat trips to see the dolphins and not far from the town. Lovely xxx

5* Yacht hotel. Excellent service (a bit slow at busy times at the Aqua bar). Great breakfast. Good virus control and cleaning.

Little bit of luxury. Lovely environment. Great sized rooms. Friendly staff. Area around is buzzing. Enjoyed the casino and the restaurant was great, with delicious food and wine.

Stayed for 4 nights , had one nights sleep due to noise from rooms above, banging , walking about. Rooms have walls like paper and wooden floors mean you can hear every footstep. Absolutely horrendous experience that I never want to repeat!

WOW what a hotel. Great service and so clean. Best service at breakfast I've ever had. Nothing was a problem for the staff. We had a 6th floor basic room which had nothing basic about it. All computer controlled and very well decorated. Our friends were getting married on the boat and the wedding was amazing thanks to the staff. The Food was so delicious and catered for all our needs. Wedding on the top deck in the sun was so cool. Cant recommend this hotel enough. We bought our tickets for flight and hotel through BA and it was cheaper than all other supermarket travel websites.

Luxious beautiful place to stay. Staff are friendly welcoming and helpful. The food is amazing. It is a little expansive but I have to it's worth every penny. Loved it.

High end of the restaurant eateries. Service was good although very clinical no interaction between staff and patrons which is a shame. Not cheap.

Very nice hotel loved the cocept that this hotel is an actual boat.

The soundproofing was a bit bad, and the party sound outside at 4 am had been coming in.

Perfect as always. Best place for breakfast, fantastic views whilst drinking champagne.

My husband and I have stayed in this beautiful hotel twice now. The rooms are clean, modern, comfortable and finished with up to date technology. The staff are really attentive.
This location is surround by a variety of bars and restaurants. Spain and Morocco are also nearby. We will definitely revisit.

Great boat Hotel, had lunch there for special day, happy hours are Spanish price is excellent, very attentive staff and clean surroundings.

Really lovely setting and venue, though the drinks were quite expensive and the service quite slow

Very unusual, spotlessly clean, but noisy and brash. Too many gimics in the room and hated the bathroom where there is little privacy.

La Sala restaurant onboard has a great value Sunday lunch menu. Nice surroundings and reasonable drinks prices.

Beautiful, luxurious yatch. Loved the experience. All the staff were great: very kind, helpful and accomodating. Breakfast was superb and the room and the views were awesome. I would definitely go back :)

Beautiful setting for a family wedding. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The staff in the Spa were lovely and attentive. Rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious. Highly recommend the Sunborn.

Fabulous place to stay. 10 min walk from the airport so no transfer need, you just walk across the runway. Superior rooms have a balcony that you can sit on instead of just a juliet balcony ,so worth the extra. Rooms are great, spacious and all lights, heat/AC and even curtains operated from a bedside control panel. Huge TV with UK channels, fab bathroom and biggest bed ever ! Breakfast fabulous, plenty of choice. Service throughout so polite and friendly and staff go out of their way to help. Rooms facing the runway are best as they overlook the marina and the runway so you get to see planes take off and land from about 400yds away...no noise problem at all though. Great sundeck with sunloungers and bar and small pool. Plenty of places to sit around on-board but also plenty of bars and restaurants all around the boat in the ocean village. Main town shopping area about 5 mins walk with small versions of many UK stores including M&S and Debenhams. Dolphin and whale watching trips available from boats parked next to the Sunborn so everything you need is all at hand.
Would definitely stay here again, such a great set up.

Great hotel with fantastic views. Rooms are gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Stay on the runway side as noise from bars can be a pain on the other side.

What a great holiday we made all the better onboatd the sunborn staff out of this world just cannot do enough for you

While the venue and the drinks were excellent the food was not anywhere near the quality I would expect. I am staying at the sunborn in London next weekend so it will be good to compare. Having since been to the sister Sunborn in London I would say generally the Gibraltar ship wins on most fronts, food was still disappointing however.

This definitely gets the prize for the weirdest property, but excellent service & location.

Beautiful hotel. Food and breakfast buffet excellent.

The breakfast was lovely and the rooms great. We had a very noisy room the first night but they moved us the next day. Staff were professional and friendly. My husband had problems getting onto the wifi. We weren't sure if it was his phone however he never had a problem anywhere else on Gibraltar or any other country we have ever been to.

Yes, it s an exciting concept, the rooms are well designed, but I m not convinced the price is justified.
The acrid smell in the room was off putting.

Very opulent, beds very large and very comfortable, rooms spacious however very expensive and not really worth the money. Gym good. Didn't get offered any casino vouchers as other guests did (slightly miffed) had to ask for drinks vouchers which other guests were being offered.

Love this hotel, very smart bedrooms and brilliant breakfast. Can't wait to return
