Wonderful nostalgic place to visit, definitely recommend this to anyone who is a music fan. Lots of history especially about Elvis, this is where he recorded his first records, but its also the place that started recording some of the most iconic blues artists and is know to be responsible for the birth of the blues. Its a can't miss spot
Great tour guide with excellent historical knowledge and humor.
So much history in this building. Tons of artist, past and present, got their start and/or recorded here. A lot of good Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, BB King memorabilia

Best one room tour in town. You can still feel the magic. A must see.

Amazing and great value for money.
History was good.
Nice place to visit. Out tour guide was extremely energetic and made the whole experience worth it.
What can I say? Elvis, Johny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis all were here. Incredibly well preserved. So glad it wasn't ruined over time when it was used as a rental.
Fantastic tour. To actually touch a microphone that so many legends used was spectacular.

Great look at the history of music making from behind the scenes. Lots of priceless memorabilia on display and we loved the tour. Our guide (Graham) was awesome. Very knowledgeable and fun to listen to. I can't recommend it enough. Free parking and reasonable tour prices. A+++ a must see when in Memphis.
Where music history was made! Amazing place, and your guide(Jeff) was equally amazing. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Every rock & roll music fan should visit here!
Exciting, it seems to go back in time, it's all like then. True music is breathed true art, when little was done so much. Very beautifull!!
Not much to look at from the outside, but a very interesting tour, surprising how many stars started their recording careers there, including Elvis Presley, worth a visit
To be standing where modern music history was made is a mesmerizing experience. A most-see, dont-miss iconic place!
This place is great!! Excellent place to get a feel for where the great stars of rock and roll began. Our tour guide really knew her stuff and enjoyed interacting with the group. Had always skipped the tour and decided to go one day, omg, loved it. Guide was great, not very long so easy to fit in if you have a full day planned. The information was delivered in a fun educational format. Would recommend!
Very good tour! Neat history ! Must see in Memphis, close to Beale St..
Small studio with a big history. Good guide made experience one to remember.
Dynamic, very friendly guide. For those who like rock, and a must see.
Tour not handicap accessible. But very enjoyable just the same. Tour guide Zack was the best

This place is legendary. The radio room they salvaged and set up upstairs is beyond awesome and learning the history of how all the great legendary made their way through sun studio was awesome. Can't remember our tour guides name but he did a great job and was really into the history. Fantastic place where the legends were born.

Singular! There is nothing really incredible but it is a place full of charm and history. A fun the blonde girl riding a visit
Very cool spot! Saw the studio where Elvis recorded his 1st record. They even have all the original equipment used for the session!
They also had clips of the song, and clips of the famous jam session he did with Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, & Carl Perkins!
They had a piano used by Jerry Lee Lewis, & they let me play it! I haven't played in over 40 years, but remembered just enough not to embarrass myself LOL. A must see in Memphis!
Really interesting review of the start of rock n roll. Elvis's first recording studio in an up close and personal tour. Graham our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgable and musical.
Tour was awesome, cheap, and gave me chills to actually stand in the same studio that many greats recorded in!
Awesome gift shop. Loved being able to go inside without having too purchase tickets for a tour.
Went to Memphis for honeymoon. Went to Sun Records was amazing
Fantastic history of music country / blues and rock n roll
I got the chills standing where some of the greatest artists have stood!
It was marvelous and our tour guide Crockett Hall was great.
I could feel the spirit of million dollar quartet ... Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, the "spirit" of legends lives here ... As a U2 fan, this is really a highlight ... Thank you!
A MUST STOP n Tremendous History. Personnel there are very friendly and helpful
Really great place to visit Plenty to see and the staff are lovely.
Saw the TV show and The Million Dollar Quartet in Branson, it really got me interested in how Sam Phillips and Sun Studios made those stars. Our tour guide was AWESOME.
If you enjoy radio history and Elvis Presley this is a great tour!!
Unexpectedly good. Didn't really have this place on our radar but we all really enjoyed it. The guide really brought this place to life. Such a small unassuming place with so much music history.
Excellent tour by Nina! So much great music history here! Don't miss this one me. Leave two hours for a short wait, the tour, and the great gift shop and cafe.
Nice little studio hidden away. Has events occasionally
I rated this place poorly because they claimed to be open daily. We drove 2 hours to find out the doors were locked.
Awesome place with a super exciting tour. Tons of great information that you just have to go there to learn. Discounts for groups!!!
Must see place. The tour provided so much information about all the people who recorded there
Phenomenal knowledge and history of the studio by the tour guide, Hannah. You can tell her true passion and love of what she does and where she does it.
Sun Studio. As an Elvis fan, this piece of history could not be missing. As if The King and Johnny Cash can come in any time. This place breathes history and music. If you are there the tour is also a must. The guide takes you back in time and tells the story of Sun Studio very passionately.
So interesting, guide she was awesome and she was all in and so emotional. Not a big place but a lot of everything
If you like music it is must stop while visiting Memphis, check tour schedules so you show up on a good time.

A must see peace of history of musical revolution of Rock n Roll.
Really awesome tour for those of you musically inclined. Really special to see and be in the birth place of a music movement. The tour guide was knowledgeable, witty, and kept it right on track with no dilly-fallying. A little aggressive asking for tips, but all of Memphis was when we visited.
You could feel the history in the walls. The tour guide was brilliant and knew his stuff. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anybody that loves music history should go here.
Nice but overcrowded. Not worth the money. Was better 20 years ago.
This was my favorite stop in Memphis so far. The story behind the studio and the memorbilia was excellent! Our tour guide, Graham, was absolutely excellent and did a fantastic job, you can really tell that he's a music fan and loves his job!
