What an awesome experience. The staff and tour guide were great, and super knowledgeable. My wife said that the malt they made for her while I went on the tour was the best she'd ever had. The studio itself was lovingly preserved and holds such a rich history. It was a true pleasure to be where many of the pioneers of rock and blues music once stood and recorded their hits.

Sun studio and cafe is a must visit if you're a fan of rock & roll, blues and all things Elvis. They claim to be the birth place of rock & roll!! They have guided tours- provided by the staff that work at the cafe and are musicians themselves! My husband and I had a great time spending our Sunday afternoon here!

Terrific tour with Mark. Def a thing to do if you're in town

This tour was our favorite part of visiting Memphis. We took the tour after a day at Graceland, so it was neat to see where Elvis began, among others. Lydia was a great tour guide! Highly recommend!

You get goosebumps when you know the history of the place

Simply a MUST SEE. To stand in a room that Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and countless others created magic - is amazing.

Worth the trip. So much history. Prices ate very reasonable also. And I was even able to take in my Yorkie.

Informative , but rushed no.time to take it all in.

A music historical experience with an upright guide

What a fun experience! Daniel, our tour guide was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the studio and told great stories. So much music history in this little building it's amazing. To think they are still recording the way they did back then is awesome. For music enthusiasts/aficionados, this is a must see. You even get to touch a microphone that was actually used by the king himself! Great time and actually not a long tour.

Totally worth the visit! Great historic tour including stories from a local pro musician. I highly recommend!

Sun Studio in Memphis, where Elvis Presley recorded his first song for 4 dollars, "My Happiness", and then "That's allright mama" and then R'n'R was born! Historical place! A must see for the Rockers!

The stories told behind the music by the tour guide is great! Def my favorite museum tour in memphis! Great original pieces and it's amazing to be in a room where the greats once stood to record history! A must see!

Absolutely loved it. Host was excellent. The historic memorabilia is exactly what one expect. The final experience I will not share because it was unbelievable. A surprise worth paying for in it's self.

It was so surreal! I knew the history, but actually being here was phenomenal!

If you love Elvis and if you love modern music, this place should definitely be included in your Memphis itinerary.

Awesome experience. Take the 45 minute tour. So cool to see where Elvis and so many more legends started their careers.

It was really awesome, the guide was Great and really a great place too go if you are in Menphis

Great tour, my only complaint is that the guide didn't talk about Johnny Cash as much as she did other artists.

Awesome historic studio.. It felt like I was reeling back in time in the famous studio that Elvis recorded his first hit record.. Worth the time to take the informative tour as well..

Never realized the impact they had on the music industry. Lots of history here. Recommend as a must stop for a tour when in Memphis.

A very unusual place where you can hear a lot about old-time music .. B.B.King, Louis, Hooker, Amstrong .. great content of old records, records, souvenirs, newspaper clippings .. the ambience is real American .. cool .. I am was delighted. I didn't just get on the Rock & roll bus the next time :)

Loved it! Our guide was 'Lana' and she was so much fun! The guys at the front desk were very kind too. It definitely is a good time for anyone who likes music and wants to know more about Memphis music!

Sun studio was a great time we enjoyed every minute! From Krista behind the counter to Gram our tour guild everyone was informed pleasant helpful and enthusiastic!! A great family outing.

Excellent, a must for rock fans of all ages, this is where it all started. My guide was great ! Forget his name, this is his pic, Even the shuttle driver to and from Graceland was great . Thanks.

Has a lot of history and a wonderful display.
The hosts do a great job of walking you through it.
You can take photographs with some of the items.

Great fun. Not only do you get a great slice of history, but the "guide" was very funny and informative. As others have said, this is a really cool place, and probably my favourite of the Memphis memorabilia.

Tiffany Harmon is AMAZING! She gave us our tour and is an amazing artist as well! The cafe staff and the "Employee of the Century" are not to be missed! Enjoy your visit to Sun... I certainly did!

Wonderful tour to are guys were very interesting and made it up front

Didn't get to tour, apparently that place is hopping, you have to book ahead of time. Staff was nice and lots of merchandise in the lower cafe area.

Steeped in musical history, visiting Sun Studios is a must if you're in Memphis and have even just a hint of music appreciation. Great tour that runs for about an hour.
