This was one of the most amazing tours we took on our visit to Memphis. Graham was very knowledgeable about the history of the place. It's definitely worth it especially for music fans!

This was a great tour. Lots of great information. Jeff Smith was a great tour guide.
Guided tour with enthusiastic guide and very interesting facts.
Tour was short but very interesting with lots of memorabilia
Went here this morning before going to Graceland. What an amazing tour with so much rock and roll history. Jane, our guide, was a fantastic host who was very enthusiastic and packed a lot of information and music into the tour. Loved it.
Probably the best Tour in Memphis. Traces the history of early rock and roll icons, Howling Wolf, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and many others.
Loved the laconic style of our guide, lots of treasures to see and photo opportunities galore.
Really good shop as well for t+ shirts and momentos. Brilliant. $14 per adult for the tour. Don't miss it.
Amazing tour of an iconic location in Memphis. Alot of one of a kind memorabilia here. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and seemed genuinely excited to share the information about what had transpired in this studio. Cafe in front that sells drinks and souvenirs.
Very cool place. I didn't have time to take the tour. But it looked neat. The inside has a small refreshment area and lots of things in the gift shop.
Also a major bonus is there is a small parking lot behind the studio, which is great because parking downtown is crazy. It's a little bit of a walk from Beale street so I suggest car or other transportation.
Fun to see the 'room where it happened'. Interesting tidbits.
Mark was an excellent tour guide, he was very enthralling and knew the history of Sun Records extremely well, highly recommend
The birthplace of Rock & Roll. Parking is a little confusing. The tour begins upstairs. Upstairs is smaller than anticipated & everyone is crammed together, but it does have a lot of original and interesting items. Downstairs opens up in the actual recording studio. Our tour guide was fun, entertaining & full of information about all the singers. I highly recommend taking the tour if you're ever in the Memphis area.
Love!! Love!! Love!! Got chills the first time I stood at the microphone in the studio. Been there twice and will go again soon!! Keep on rockin!!
Great commentary from the tour guide. Brought some key historic points to life and played some milestone clips!! Very enjoyable and informative! Thank you
I was in Memphis for 3 nights arriving on April 11th. The day after we visited Graceland and completed the Elvis story by visiting the Sun Studios where he recorded his very first single. The studios are still untouched as they were in the 50's. The tour is quite short because the place is not that big but was very interesting thanks to Lahna who was very energetic and should I mention this very sexy. There's also a small record section where you can buy mainly vinyl records althuugh I don't think they have exclusive Sun releases. Great gift shop as well; so very recommended and ask for Lahna as your tour guide.
Great historic site for rock n Rollers. The guide was very informative and entertaining.
This place is very near and dear to my heart. All my favorite artists such as Howlin' Wolf, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and many more made themselves a name in between those very walls. This is a must see for any music fan. To stand in the same spot that The King of Rock and roll stood in is absolutely mind-blowing
The staff are musicians and engineers themselves who genuinely care about the historical significance of the place. Tiffany was our tour guide and she was wonderful, made the whole thing fun and entertaining. This is one of the best places to soak up some American history, not only for the history itself but for the current presentation of it. You'll feel a real connection.
All the great history of recording happened at the Sun Studios in Memphis TN.
Definitely a must see in Memphis if you are a music person!
LOVED IT !!!!!! The tour guide was amazing, an awesome lady, who's name escapes me, but it started with an L, was most excellent. Being there where the magic was made is truly amazing !!!
So much music history in this tiny two-floor building. The artists of years past come alive on a one-hour tour! At the end of the tour, you can hold the same microphone that Elvis held when he recorded in the studio!
Very interesting to visit. The '' guide '' is just awesome
Wish there had been more stories. For a place with such history 45 minutes doesn t do it justice. Great pictures.
A must see when you come to Memphis!!! Awesome tour!!
I'm not even a fan of Elvis, but it was still a really cool place. Our tour guide was friendly, and explained everything very clearly.
Ground zero for the popularization and creation of Rock-N-Roll. The staff are exceptional.
If you're into Elvis and the others, then you'll love this little tour.
This was the best part of our trip so far. Mark is an amazing, talented, knowledgeable, and made our tour so much fun. We learned so much! Bravo!
Staff were great and the tour was super interesting. The fact kids are free and the parent looking after the remaining kids gets free coffee and snacks makes it even better for families.
We had a very knowledgeable guide that made the tour very enjoyable
Of all the museums I toured in Memphis, this one was definitely the best. Very informative, informal tour. Staff is enthusiastic and helpful.
Amazing staff, amazing history, and we just loved every moment there.
Great tour. Helps you appreciate our musical history.
Widely known for the time Elvis spent here, but honestly there are also many other musicians with an equally important musical impact whom spent time in Sun Studios
Interesting tour inside the studio, that actually were just two rooms, I would say that the place is really iconic but there is not so much to see there. I mean it's cool to be in the same room in which Elvis or Jerry Lee Lewis had recorded.
Smaller than I imagined. Still very cool, very viable venue of American history.
Great info and history given thoroughly enjoyed the experience
Informative and entertaining! Thanks for a great tour!
Great tour. Lots of info and so much musical history in this building. Loved the tour and if you go hopefully your tour guide is Graham Winchester because he was great!
This is where Elvis and a bunch of music artists got their start
It worth it! You can see an important place for history of music.
Fantastic experience!!! Steeped in music history, real hair-on-end moment
We really love the history, and enjoyed the tour. it was a bucket list item, not sure it would be worth going back a second time, but we've checked it off the list.
Tiny place but so much history! Take the tour!!! This is a must in Memphis! Our tour guide was great too.
Loved standing where the Greats stood. Wonderful tour with great guides.
Great experience. Great staff. Was a high light of our trip.
A very cool tourist stop in Memphis TN. It's a must see for music lovers, and Elvis lovers. The attached shop, serves coffee, and takes you on a very cool guided tour. Definitely check it out once. Unfortunately it's not in the best part of town anymore, so make sure to drive or get a ride to and from. I wouldn't walk there as Memphis isn't what it used to be.
Great to be at the place where Elvis Presley and many more recorded their first albums. There's such a marvelous atmosphere 'cus the studio maintain it's characterization from years and years. There you can buy things about many of yours idols and from many others you just know listening to them indoor. Great experience!
Awesome venue. Super place to visit and get the low down on the past greats and the beginnings of rock n roll and how Sam Philip's almost past on the king of rock n roll. Simply fantastic.
Very interesting. Loved learning new things about the birth of rock n roll.
We were surprised with this tour. The tour guide made the experience.
If you are a music fan you owe it to yourself to go to this music Mecca. Great tour and fun, informative staff
...history is much of lies told over and over and even the teller is sold on the lies he was told. BUT, this is no lie. Rock and Roll was and is still birthing in this studio.
Many Memphians, have never visited this birthplace.
This small room has had very large results, best tour in the city.
Love this place
ELVIS was here
Great visit, wonderful to be where it all started. To be in the same room as Showing Wolf, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, BB King and U2, was incredible. Our guide was so knowledge and so interested in everything about Sun Studios. You should not go to Memphis and not visit Sun Studios
Great tour guide. Small place but contains much history. Still in use today.
great tour worth signing up to - we got the last tickets for our tour, so get there in advance to ensure you dont need to wait for the following tour
The photo ops it self is worth the price. Great tour guides.
