Cool place on corner of busy street. Love the history of this place..and of course the memory of Elvis and others who got their start here with Sam Phillips and Sun Records. Great photo op. Better if the tour buses didn't stop right smack in front of the studio! Geez!

Finally, I was able to visit Sun Studio in Memphis! I love music and I'm fascinated that this studio is where some of the greatest singers have been discovered like the icons Elvis Presley, Jerry Lewis, Howling Wolf, and other artists. I got to hold the mic they use, the piano they played and other old instruments that have been preserved well in this studio. I did enjoy my visit here and I would recommend this to every music lover!

This was my second visit to Sun Studios but it was my favorite. Why? Because of our guide Graham. He was knowledgeable but also fun! His passion for music shown through his tour. Thanks Graham for a great time!

It should be a must to visit Sun Studios if you are a rock and roll fan. So many of the old stars first recorded there, including many of Elvis Presley s earlier hits. It s very well presented and a pleasure to have visited.u

See the Sun and Sam Phillips displays at Graceland, then go here. Had a guide named Graham who made the tour engaging and fun. Park in back on hard to find lot: Either small curb cut next to bldg., or Rt. on Marshall, Rt. on Orleans, Rt. on Monroe, then Rt. after SUN stenciled dumpster.

This is the only studio/museum you have to go to when you are in Memphis (yes even over Graceland). This is the birthplace of rock and roll and the tour is top notch. You can tell they care and they make the most out of the tiny studio. It will make you fall in love with rock and roll again.

This stop was THE HIGHLIGHT of my first trip to Memphis.

This is a must see for anyone visiting Memphis and interested in the history of Rock N Roll.

Wow! Just being in there feels cool. If your in Memphis going to Graceland it would be a shame not to check out. For the Elvis experience it definitely puts the cherry on top.

Great place to visit for Elvis fans and those music history buffs. Highly recommend taking tour as you see original studio where many great past and present artists have recorded their music. Its still in use today

Our guide on the tour made a small place into great stories. Loved the history of music. Sun Studios is legendary for giving big names their start - Howlin Wolf, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, etc.

Sun studios is in the top three things that you must do when you go to Memphis. If you want to understand what Memphis is all about and get the real experience. This is more than just a must do. This is Mecca for the genre it displays! It is a critical key that brings the history of Memphis all together.

Probably great if you're an Elvis fan. Lots of shirts an trinkets. But more available at Graceland.

If you love Elvis or any of the men who made history recording in that building, then no review is needed. It's wonderful and full of history! I could sit at the little cafe all day. Vacationing via Memphis and NOT going to Sun Studios (Sun Records) would be a crime!

A must see if you're a music fan in Memphis. Our tour guide did a great job! They walk you through some of the pivotal moments in music history. To stand in the same room where icons like Elvis, Cash, and Howlin' Wolf did their thing is pretty amazing.

I enjoyed the tour and think it was well worth the price. There is free parking behind the building.

It's ok but I didn't find this really special. Yes many stars have been here, they also been all in Disneyland, so yes you could say also I have been where those stars we're.

What a fun place. Have to give a shout out to our tour guide, Lana. She was fabulous and made our tour memorable. I would highly recommend this place as a must see if you are visiting Memphis.

I went once before and everything was wonderful! It was a small crowd of less than 20 people and the tour guide (cute, petite blonde lady) was so lively and really made the tour fun! With that first experience, I brought my family when they came to visit. The tour guide did well but there were at least 35-40 people in the group and it felt rushed. My second experience was a lot less personable and enjoyable.

Fascinating place! Our guide Lydia was great, spoke loudly and clearly, knowledgable and great enthusiasm!

It was almost closing time and they would not let us look around or take any pictures.

So rich in history and we had a great guide to explain it all!
