I have been using the owner Paul Johnson at Sun Point Appraisals for many years. I'm a realtor in North Scottsdale and anytime I have a new listing, I call Paul. He comes out and performs the appraisal(most times on very short notice) with complete professionalism. He is a true professional and the only appraiser I use for all my listings!

We chose Sun Point due to all the great reviews and unfortunately didn't have a great experience. Paul was our appraiser and when we spoke over the phone, I indicated our desire for an appraisal was to make sure the investments in our home were good investments and to discuss whether or not future investments would be wise. He assured me he would provide the consultative approach / engagement that offered those insights. Our appraisal arrived without a value included and was pretty template driven - not a lot of insight, despite providing a packet of all work done and before pictures. Questions following receipt of the appraisal were met with weeks of delay in responding and no real answer on value of work done on the home. At this point - months later, we still don't have answers to some pretty basic questions. I'm sure there have been great experiences as indicated by other reviews, but we did not have it with Paul/Sun Point. A disappointing $500 experience.

Sun Point Appraisals appraised my home in Scottsdale and did a great job. A nice young lady gave me a 2 hour window and arrived within the time frame. She was very polite and patient answering all my questions and even took off her shoes before entering my home. I would highly recommend their services.

Sun Point has excellent customer service and has helped my business grow. As a Realtor, it's getting tougher and tougher to educate seller's on the current market value of their home without offending them. I was referred to Sun Point from another agent in my office and I now make sure each and every one of my seller's has an appraisal done first. It's best when we all go into a listing with a real shot of it selling fast and for market value. Great job guys!

Phoned for a land appraisal on Thursday and Chelsey was very helpful on phone. Emailed me a bid on within a hour and I ordered the appraisal. Received the final appraisal by email the next Thursday morning. Very happy with the appraisal and the cost.

I decided to take a chance because I know nobody's perfect, but I will say my experience with Sun Point was! They've earned this review based on the fact that I was provided awesome service.
