I recently had the pleasure of working with Summit Title Services, Ellen Frith and Pam Koehler for my recent purchase of my new home. Both Ellen and Pam were extremely prompt and professional during the whole process. Although these are unprecedented times for their title company, they never missed a beat and in fact discovered errors on the sellers documents that had been submitted. Their attention to detail was meticulous and both Ellen and Pam treated my closing as it was their only transaction they were working on. Having closed multiple properties with Summit Title here in NH I can say they re nothing less than amazing. Ellen Frith, my account manager is an angel. She is funny, extremely responsive, and handles my clients with the highest level of care. Sometimes scheduling a closing becomes a last minute ordeal due to everything happening behind the scenes to reach that point. Summit has always been more than accommodating with getting us on the schedule; at a time and place that works for all parties. Mark Perkins, hands down the best closing attorney I ve ever had the privilege of sitting at a table with. He is thorough, explains everything in an easy to understand fashion, is patient, never makes my clients feel rushed, ensures he s answered all of their questions, and everyone leaves with a smile on their face. I have worked with many home buyers and Summit Title has always been one of my go to title companies for them. Their communication throughout the entire process is great. The staff is friendly and customer service is second to none. I continue to highly recommend to all home buyers and have used Summit Title several times on my personal purchase or refinances.
As a first time buyer My wife and I were rushed through our closing process back in December. I know I felt like I should be asking questions and I did try. Each time I was dismissed by our closing attorney. I know the market is busy right now but I have never been treated so poorly during my home buying process. We were given 20 minutes to sign everything and we were rush out of the room as our sellers were ushered in. As we all went to exchange keys and info (in the hallway) we watched the next family hustle in behind us. I am posting this now because there are things that I wish I would have had more clearly explained. Now that we ve settled in, I don t recommend the staff here and I think the biggest purchase of your life deserves to be treated with respect and human interaction and not like you are a walking dollar sign until the next one come in. Plus the office is incredible poorly located and also very unpleasant to navigate inside.
