I love this place! This was probably our 8th time here. The kids love it and the food is great for a resort. The houses are clean and in good condition, well stocked. There's a decent supermarket for breakfast and self catering. It's quiet, calm and the staff are friendly

Good offers for small children! However, the Hof van Saksen is relatively far away from a larger city, which is why you can not drive quickly to Assen!

We've all had fine days. The cottage was only allowed to undergo a renovation. But the team at the park were great. There was also so much to do for the children. We would go right back.

Great holiday park to visit with kids. Swimming pool had been upgraded with nice new slides and temperature is better now. Friendly and helpful staff. Indoor play area is nice as well. In walking distance not much to do but this is being offset by the park and his attractions easily.

It is a beautiful park but we were not affected by the house, 8 people for a long weekend 1100 ..
We arrived on Friday at 3 p.m. and went to see the house, it turned out that there were dead flies in 2 bedrooms. In my opinion before delivery, I did not check whether everything was okay. Reported to the reception and everything was cleaned afterwards. We thought, ok can happen, unfortunately. The next day after noon again the same problem, then we were terribly disappointed, again to the reception and again everything was cleaned up and cleaned and people from the technical staff were called in. They went to the attic and what turned out to be a whole nest with flies and what turned out, this was already known from 17 September . Nothing done so while you paid so much money for in fact 2 full days, an evening and a morning. The moment we were there with 2 little ones they wanted to spray with a chemical substance, we did not agree with that. They then glued all the spots shut so that no more flies could come out. We were then called that we could all have lunch the next day, as compensation. When leaving the park I again stated that I think it is a bad thing that when you pay so much money the house is not okay, while it was known. ( the flies). We suffered from it for two days. It was promised that they would still contact me, heard nothing at all !!!

Nice park. Spacious. The craft clubs and fashion academy, etc. are fun for the kids. Harrewar (kind of play castle) was fun for the kids, but there was not enough room for parents to sit and read a book. Buffet restaurant was good and also nice for the kids. For the rest it was too busy at the park, so we could not eat very often in the restaurants, because it was all occupied. Pool was okay, water and air temperature in the pool was just too cold.

Great place to stay, especially with kids! Relaxed atmosphere and everything you might want is on hand on the resort. Rain or shine, no need to worry about the weather, there is plenty to do!

Other than the lack of evening entertainment, this place is fantastic. Similar to one of the more decent centerparcs, it's very classy place with nice clientele, great food and excellent facilities. There's is a lovely beach with a climbing area, good quality bikes and a calm, serene road network which is very safe due to few cars. The indoor pool and flumes are perfect and the spa is lovely as well.

Very nice park with many activities for the kids. The food was also better than used to at other parks. Will definitely go again.

Probably the most beautiful Landal park. Spacious. Very many facilities for the children, both indoor and outdoor. The (indoor) pool has a nice lazy river and several spectacular slides. Outside there is a lawn on a small lake where you can swim with a large playground, partly in the water. Inside there is, among other things, an arcade with climbing machines (similar to Ballorig for those who know it), a section where a trampoline can be jumped and a 'craft academy'.

Very neat and clean pool, the service is great there, very cool slides. I really only miss a wave pool.

Nice. A pity, but actually disappointing, that during the weekend holidays the bar is closed on Friday and Sunday. Very strange. You can't go anywhere for a drink.

One of the most beautiful places where you can spend your free time with children. We are here for the third time and will definitely be back.

Briefly summarized ... TOP !! Wonderful wellness, great fitness, great swimming pool. Excellent culinary options, fantastic recreation.

A cheek how customers are dealt with here! First it was said that anyone who comes despite numerous closed facilities will receive a 100 euro voucher for the next (!!!) booking. Then the park was completely closed and now many affected people are being held up with vouchers and fed with standard emails. We had booked for eight people. It is almost impossible to get them back together like this. Especially not this year! And other dates are of course much more expensive than originally!
The lawyer is on! Never again Landal!

Nice park. Especially with children, there is also a real holiday for the parents, because there is everything for the little person. Only downside were the slides for which you have to be 8. Our children are water rats but not yet 8. They may enter the whitewater course so they have a good time.

Wherever everything was there.
Saves you a lot of stuff that you would otherwise take with you.
Cottage was certainly spacious and neat.
Swimming pool was also great fun for various ages.
And delicious food at the Grand cafe.
The fresh pizza at the northern market (supermarket de spar) was also quite satisfactory.
All in all, well worth 5 stars.

Lots to do for the children, a nice combination between entertainment and education. Many parts are free, sometimes for a fee, registration is desirable when busy.
Also in and around the park enough to find peace for adults.

A dike 0 for the pool, people are just barred so I come from far away and may not go in to swim so I will never go here again so with this dike fat 0 I think it's just a stupid rule this costs you customers and a lot to put you are a worthless company so people no radar you come for nothing !!!! Saves you fuel and time

It is one of the most beautiful holiday parks we know. Especially the noble swimming pool with slides of superlatives is worth a visit!

Had a wonderful weekend at this top park. Just a bit better and more luxurious in everything than other Landal parks, for example. Lovely box spring bed with topper, well furnished house, excellent sanitary. The house was also well cleaned.
The facilities at the park are also very good. Great restaurants and the swimming paradise and indoor playground are fantastic for the children.

Here I can always relax well. If I need more action, I'll go to the new slide. The part is awesome.

We were there for the 4th but certainly not last time. A dream for children and the ideal holiday to have a great time as a family.

Very badly cleaned house, we had a house for midweek in the summer of 2018 and almost all got scabies.

The Engineering Academies are great fun. Unfortunately, it is only open on weekends and on Wednesday afternoons. Understand that there are fewer schoolchildren free outside the standard autumn break. However, my children have flexible autumn holidays and therefore a bit disappointed.
Are here for the 2nd time because the farms are beautiful and comfortable.
What has changed is that an inflatable castle has been placed in the pool. Nice in itself, but with that the possibility to "swim" has disappeared. This could be improved with better placement of the ropes. During the hour of lap swimming, the lines of the lanes are missing and you cannot swim through.
