Come early, or make a reservation. I always come for the crab stuffed, bacon wrapped shrimp. These are to die for. The place is a favorite with the locals, and really is the gem on Sullivans Island. Old school wood panelling - it is cozy and relaxing. If you dont like canned fruit, dont order it. Otherwise everything is perfect everytime. Never a complaint.

Oysters in the half shell! Blackened tuna with collard greens! Shrimp, followed by key lime pie...... A great dining experience, and loads of yummy goodness. I am so happy we stumbled upon this gem!

What a delicious piece of flounder! I really enjoyed the atmosphere! We had a large table, and everyone's food arrived to them hot! My friend ordered crab legs and they were seasoned to perfection!

This small restaurant is located near Sullivans light house. Food was excellent. The batter is light and the seafood is tender and moist. Recommend the shrimp. Waitress was quick and courteous.

My husband and I entered the restaurant around 5 p.m. on a Saturday. There was only 1 other family in there. The lady at the front desk did not acknowledge our being there. The restaurant smelled musty. We were seated and our waitress, Mandy, was friendly and helpful. My husband had the she crab soup, stuffed flounder, green beans, and coleslaw. The green beans were straight out of a can. The rest of his meal was okay. I had sauteed shrimp, okra, and collards. My shrimp was tough and chewy. The collards were marginal, and the okra was good.

We will not be returning.

Best fried seafood ever!!! I have always loved their food and I didnt think it could get any better but it has! Tonight we had clam chowder and their fried shrimp and oysters.....cooked perfectly and definitely not greasy like some seafood restaurants. The place was packed but we had called ahead and were seated within minutes. Our orders were brought out promptly and the food was so hot and fresh. The owner is always so pleasant and friendly. Our waiter, Matthew, was on top of everything!! Excellent service and excellent food in a quaint local restaurant! A+++ in our opinion!

Go to a seafood place and get the burger. I know, I'm not a seafood guy at all but the folks dragged me here. Anyways, the burger was decent not the best I've had on this trip. The atmosphere is laid back but shabby. Guess it works as a local place but it's not for me.

We found it just like their advertising says, quaint, comfortable locally owned restaurant where you can get generous portions of fresh tasty seafood and actual vegetables at lunch for a family friendly price.

My extended family visited here last week. We had a party of 14 and the waiter was fabulous! Our appetizers arrived quickly. The portions were large and everyone got their correct orders. It was my grandson's birthday and they took time to wish him a happy birthday.

I wanted to like this place. The menu has unique items and priced about right for Sullivan's. My experience was average. My wife ordered the scallops which tasted old, and her side of squash casserole was funky tasting. My stuffed flounder was bland and overcooked and my side of "creamy grits" was not creamy or even flavorful. Now on the positive side my Mother in law had fried flounder and shrimp and it was very good and so was the coleslaw. The service was also good. I would recommend to the chef to evaluate the recipes you are serving. Thats our experience.

It's small! Call for reservations! Which my cousin did for us and these guys really put on a spread! I had the whole-fried flounder, and it was cooked perfectly with the right amount of seasoning. My nephew's steaks looked great and they wasted no time devouring them. The server (owner maybe?) Is very proud of her place and her food. Not five stars because my wife's scallops were WAY overcooked, but that might have been a mistake or a new guy on the grill. Either way, good beer, good food and good people. Call for reservations! And enjoy

We came to Isle of Palms for our 10-year anniversary and decided to try Sullivan s for our anniversary dinner. The owner and staff were friendly, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was amazing! My husband ordered the seafood casserole (the owner s father s recipe) and he said it was delicious. My grouper with shrimp mornay sauce was also delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Quick and friendly servers, amazing seafood and hospitality that was exactly what you would expect from a family owned restaurant. The manager was so friendly to us "tourists" and thanked us for ordering the seafood casserole. She shared that the recipe had been passed down from her father. We loved it! The seafood stuffing side is delicious as well!

Great food. May want to call ahead.

Awesome place to eat. The other places seemed to have a lot of fluff but this place is just low key and great for a quick meal. I was here working from out of town and it was perfect. Good portions and very reasonable on the prices. Food was really good and fresh!

I am at a loss for words. I can't even describe how good the food was here. I had a petite grilled tenderloin topped with pimento cheese and blackened redfish with bleu cheese butter with a mushroom bacon risotto cake and grilled asparagus. It was to die for. All the flavors melded together perfectly. My husband had a seafood pasta that was excellent. The cheesecake was homemade and also equally awesome. Can't wait to come back!

We had a large group on a Saturday night and called ahead. Within 30 mins they cheerfully accommodated us. The food and service was excellent!! Mama D aka Donna (the owner) was super cheerful and just lovely to chat with! Highly recommend this place for locals or out-of-towners!

The service here was great! We arrived at around 7pm and it was pretty crowded. There was a line out the door but we were seated within 5-10 minutes. Our server was very nice and helped with anything we needed. I ordered the crab pot and it was delicious! I would definitely recommend stopping by here if you're craving some good seafood!

Food was very good, decent prices, service was good, could have been better. Was given the check before asking if we wanted desert, was out of a couple of deserts that we're on the menu. Would recommend.

I grew up going to Sullivan s. It was my favorite then and still is today. Service is on another level. You are treated like family and appreciated for being there. Portions are huge and prices are great. Southern hospitality and cuisine are top notch. You can t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Dining experience was not great. We were here in early May and did not get a chance to post review that evening. We were there on a Saturday evening with a brief wait. Once seated we were handled by a series of different servers including the hostess. All were trying to cover for our server who was supposed to be on her way to our table. Ordered, served, and ate before she appeared at our table. She walked directly past us multiple times and avoided eye co tact. The only time she came to the table was to bring the check. On my way out I told the hostess I was embarrassed to say I didn't leave a tip because I was not sure who would get it. All I got in response was I'm sorry. Hopefully the young lady has improved in her service.

Good home cooking meals and service. Stop by on Sunday for lunch and you get a free dessert for each person. Cobbler, cake, and delicious banana pudding!

I had catfish stew which was not amazing, but I wanted to try something a little unusual. I had country fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra, so good! Gravy was good and no gristle. Of course I always use a little Tabasco to make it just right.
