Winter expeditions have ever been a ritual in my family.
I used to worry a lot when it comes to sportswear and equipments especially for my
twin kids. Last year, I made a decision that turned my winter vacations into
a mesmerizing trip.
A One-stop-shop online a winter-warehouse provided me the best equipments
at the fairest prices with abundant selection of colors and exceptional fabric quality.
The way they set a filter on their website simplified our shopping for ski helmets, goggles,
snowboards and plenty of accessories for my kids.
The catering service and the instructor were really masters of hospitality and I can't wait
going back this year as well.

All staff are absolutely amazing. Great customer service to the people who worked in Food & beverage as well as the rental shop/ski lift. Wish I could remember the name of my trainer that I received ski lessons from. Over all had a great experience but I think the food needs to improve here. Ordered a cold bowl of tofu udon soup. 2 stars for the food :(

Had an awesome snowboarding day here. The lifts were all running except for one. Snow was a bit sparse in some areas but all the main runs were groomed which made for a very pleasurable day of riding. Ate at the cafe next to Disney mountain and the bacon cheddar burger was great. Cooked exactly as ordered. Service was also very friendly.

Such a great mountain. I think it's my favorite in all Tahoe. The staff have friendly attitudes - they must be well trained and looked after. And the website is great, too - with conditions updates on old 40 and powder that are always accurate. You guys make the logistics of skiing a breeze, so we can concentrate on enjoying ourselves ...

The resort that Mickey Built! Check out the History before going to make it an even more fun experience. Take the old highway entrance and the little gondola for a trip to the past. Great friendly staff with a small business atmosphere unlike the new Corporate Ski Vibe at many resorts in the area. Sugar Bowl Pro Tip Back Country Access and have a shuttle car waiting at Donner Lake. (Check with resort for open boundary) Take half the crew home to get started on dinner and other half to caravan car back from resort. DO NOT LEAVE CARS OVERNIGHT people could risk their lives looking for you.

Great place, many lifts and runs that are kept well groomed. The facilities are clean and new although the entire place is incredibly busy during peak season which makes it hectic, although that's to be expected for such a large venue. Overall great fun.

Nice variety of slopes for the whole family. Close to Bay Area, with plenty overnight stay options around Donner Lake and Truckee. In 2019-2020 they give discount for lift tickets if you order 2 days ahead of time. Free lift tickets for children 5 and under.

Wasn't to crowded on our visit but it was a weekday. My son who is 10 is learning to ski. There aren't many green runs and a couple of them are borderline blue runs on parts. The blue runs were a little rough as well in parts for him as he has taken blue runs on at other resorts. Also at the end of the Christmas Tree Express its terribly flat which makes for a tough time getting to the lift. Overall we enjoyed our selves but I'll think twice about coming back until my son can take on Blue runs.

One of my favorite ski resorts since I was a little kid. Lots of terrain to keep me entertained. I was just there for three days, and still finding new things on the last day. This time I stayed in the hotel, which had great rooms and amenities. The new spa is fantastic, with a beautiful yoga/dance room, steam, sauna, hot tub, pool, etc.

Love Sugar Bowl. I've been to most of the Tahoe ski resorts, this is definitely the best one off the 80 corridor. High elevation, nice snow, good lodges. Lift prices are steep everywhere but this one feels like you get your money's worth.

Gorgeous little resort in a snow-bound area you can only reach with a gondola. Great slopes, good lifts, options for renting everything you need (and great staff there as well! Only the actual ski instructor was a bit disappointing), and a good restaurant with a warm ambiance and good food. Staff is extremely kind and helpful, and the atmosphere hard to beat. Easy to get to from San Francisco and even easier from Berkeley, and highly recommended.

Bought in advance a two day pass for the weekend. Unfortunately do to bad weather the second day had high winds so only two beginner lifts were open. Only asked for a complementary ticket for a future date and was denied. I was not asking for a refund. The guest service agent Elliott Bringman was not sympathetic at all and rude. Tried reaching manager for tickets. No response.
