After 30+ years of only buying Chevy's (GM Family)and get very poor customer service from Chevy the last couple of years (long story). I decided to make a change. Over the summer I researched vehicles, resales values and customer service rating. I decided on a Jeep. Looking at different dealers on the web in SE Michigan ,myself and not doing google searches, I found Suburban Chrysler in Troy to have the largest selection of Jeeps in the SE Michigan area to choose from. We looked around the lot before going in. We didn't see what we wanted compared to the website. Glen explained due to the large selection, many vehicles are kept at a second lot. Glad we asked and didn't leave, which crossed my mind. I told Glen, basically what I was looking for. Glen brought one around and then took us over to the other lot, while asking questions to refine the search. Told Glen what was out (Models and colors), What we preferred and options that would be nice, but weren't deal breakers. Got it down to three vehicles. Took the numbers down, printed off the specs and did side-by-side comparison while eating warm cookies. Well, my wife was eating the warm cookies.
Decided on the one we wanted and took it for a test drive. Upon return, Questions were answered, numbers were discussed and paperwork started. Couple large selection with a great knowledgeable sales staff (Glen and Nick) made buying enjoyable.

I originally went to check out this dealership because they had a ton of trucks to choose form and I wanted a better experience than I had at Milosch Dodge in Orion. To my surprise every experience I had there was fantastic. My salesman Tim Pazdziora was upfront with everything and provided the exact service that I wanted. I will definitely go back in the future for my next vehicle. Great job Suburban Dodge!!!

The staff is friendly, but i feel like they are too busy to actually hear what the customer is saying. I took my wife's 2017 wrangler for a coolant issue on 2/10/20 they said it had no issues but when you get the vehicle to running temp, you can start to detect the sweet smell of antifreeze blowing inside. I also took my Ram for an oil change the following day and asked them to look at/adjust the rear brakes as they make a horrible noise every time i back up, but that didn't get fixed either. The last item that i'm not happy about nor do i fully understand is the quote provided... you know exactly how much an oil change and tire rotation cost... so the quote of ~$52 vs the actual bill of almost $70 just left me disappointed.

I leased a Jeep Wrangler here 4 years ago (now own it) and worked with Ralph Geary. He's the best! My husband's lease was up on his Ford Fusion (I was in a Ford before the Wrangler too) so he didn't see anything at Ford he wanted to get back into and was generally bored with Fords products and their ridiculous prices so I steered him back to Suburban Chrysler. The place was packed with shoppers and everyone working there was so friendly but the best part was Ralph. I generally dread going to the dealership but my experience but will work with Ralph on all my future leases/purchases for as long as he's there! He's honest, friendly, helpful and super responsive. Not to mention just kind and pleasant. My husband drove away with a new Cherokee which he loves. We shed our last Ford and have officially, and happily, joined the Jeep family. My daughter is in a Compass. #lovesuburbanchryslerdodgejeepram

Good dealership. Great selection of vehicles and the sales people are decent. I've had many vehicles during the last several years. Much better that the old dealership that closed down after 2008.

The service team is good, they also have a quick oil change lane, which cuts down the wait time significantly.

I am always provided with great customer service here. I have another dealership within 5 minutes of my home, but their service is nowhere near as exceptional as the Suburban CDJR if Troy. To me, it's worth the 20-30 commute (depends on traffic). They provide shuttle service while waiting, which allows me to multitask. Or, I can wait in the showroom while enjoying light refreshments (popcorn, pizza, hotdogs, etc). Deanna was my normal service associate, and was excellent, but she recently moved to a different department. No worries, she connected me with Kyler, who also excels in great customer care. I highly recommend others to stop in and experience the customer service that I believe is second to none.

The overall selection is great! I ended up purchasing a manual Rangler Unlimited Sahara (only one i could find around the area). I worked with Alan and have nothing but good things to say about him and would give it 5 stars based on my experience with him. Unfortunately, the management I'm not a fan of. Via emails, Suburban CDJR would be "taking care of" and "covering" the remaining lease payments. Long story short, It was rolled into the purchase and am very displeased with the way it was covered up to the very end and would have walked away from it if there was another like it around with a different dealer. Lesson learned, do not trust managements word that they will take care of your lease payments or will cover them, IT WILL be rolled into your next payments no matter what you hear. Other than this (which is significant to me), the experience of purchasing was great with Alan and would recommend him if you decide to go with Suburban CDJR of Troy.

I gave her some basic criteria and she finds the perfect match every time. Time and time again, I have got the vehicle that I wanted at the cheapest from them. Could not have been happier with my experience with this dealership and Greg Osinski in particular! I was taken care of last minute right before the holidays but Greg ensured I was able to get the car I was after (Cherokee Trailhawk, highly recommend) without wasting time or making me feel like I was getting pulled around. I greatly appreciate how fast but thorough the entire process was. I will definitely be returning at the end of this lease and recommending Greg and Suburban to anybody in the market!

Fantastic experience every time. The service center is really helpful and prompt. I had a warranty issue on my car and the fixed it without question. They have complimentary popcorn, coffee, and water in the waiting room. They also have a kids area to keep the little ones busy.

Avoid this service department at all cost! I took my vehicle in for an oil change at the recommendation of a friend who works at FCA, since I was told dealers will usually flash the computer with new software updates when you visit. I doubt this dealer did that based on my experience, which is detailed below. Based on how much they tried to up sell me on unnecessary services, I won't ever purchase a new vehicle from the Suburban Collection or let them service a vehicle. Judging on the attempted up sell, I'm sure they are paying their service advisors a commission.

The service advisor said my Jeep was out of warranty, but I could get "extended protection" if I did the required maintenance before 50,000 miles. I was told my vehicle was overdue for a break fluid change, coolant change, fuel system cleaning, trans fluid change, and 4x4 service. I look at him and asked why I need 4x4 service when I don't have a 4x4, my Jeep is FWD. He said "oh". When I asked for more information about the "extended protection" he was vague and said I would be covered at any Chrysler/Jeep dealer worldwide. This whole time he made it seem, by being vague, that the "extended protection" was an extension of my warranty by Chrysler, but in fact, it's some aftermarket guarantee offered by a company called BG. BG is the company selling the dealer the fluid additives and cleaners they use for these "recommended services". I later consulted my Jeep owners manual and looked at what Jeep says I should do by 48,000 miles and none of the services I was told were overdue are actually needed. In fact, Jeep says not to change the coolant until 10 years or 150,000 miles! I asked for a list of the services needed and the cost, so he wrote it down on a blank piece of paper, but didn't get me a chance to take a picture of the cost The coolant was $240 and the fuel system cleaning was $152, I don't remember the others, but they were over $100 each. When I hesitated on the costs of the services, he said I should at least do the fuel system cleaning for $152 and it will pay for itself because "it increases fuel mileage by 6-7 miles per gallon on average". Of course this is a total lie since my Jeep is rated at 19 mpg city and 25 highway with a combined mpg of 22. I get 22-23 combined mpg already. There is no way for $152 I can get a 27-31% increase in mpg! If that was possible, everyone would be lined up to get their fuel systems cleaned, since they would save 27-31% on their annual fuel bill.

I was told service would take an hour and it was about 45 minutes. I was taken up to the register. I was told my bill was $33, I asked the nice young lady at the register if they put their Semi-Synthetic oil in my car, because I was told it would be $55. She looked at the paperwork and said no, I needed to talk to the advisor. I asked him and he looked at the paperwork and said they didn't do it, but he would have them "top add it". Now this gets into the other part of the story, when I came in and asked for an oil change with Semi-Synthetic oil, I was told they don't offer it and they use standard oil and then add an additive which makes it a Semi-Synthetic, but of course after i looked up the additive, I found out it was another BG product that doesn't magically turn regular oil into Semi-Synthetic oil. I was so sure they were going to overfill my oil that I checked it on the way out just to be sure they didn't mess anything up and I actually considered going to a quick oil change shop to get another oil change just to know things were done properly and I actually got the Semi-Synthetic oil I had requested. It's pretty bad when I feel I can trust a quick oil change shop more than the dealer!

When I looked at the paperwork, he never did write down the cost of the services I was "overdue on", but he did write the list down. The best part is that he was still insisting I needed 4x4 service when I don't own a 4x4! See attached image.

This dealer doesn't care about the customer, they just are about screwing you out of your money.

Very poor service!

They could not even do the regular maintenance service that they're supposed to do( as per service manual)
No car wash done, No Vacuum done.
They did not even bother to check the things you complained\asked\requested for.
Gross!

I wouldn't prefer\suggest anyone go here and be disappointed.

I am forced to give one star otherwise this wouldn't let me post :(

Bill Messina was just a pleasure to work with. He found me the perfect vehicle, and made trading in my current vehicle easy. I never felt overwhelmed, and ended up with everything I wanted in a vehicle and more, at exactly the price I was looking for. Just purchased a brand new 2018 Jeep Renegade Trai...

Just purchased a brand new 2018 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk on 02 January 2019. Jason Flora was awesome and helped get me into the vehicle I wanted at a price I could afford. He was very honest and upfront with me about everything throughout the car buying process, which was nice because this was my first New Vehicle purchase. He made it very easy and stress free.

Right out of the gate, Jason was honest by telling me that he doesn't sell many of the Renegades, so he isn't super familiar with some of the fine details. I did a lot of research before going in, so luckily a knew a lot about the vehicle I was looking at, but there was actually quite a bit that Jason was able to inform me about that I hadn't even considered. For example, on the 8.4 UConnect, he walked me through every little detail, which made the UConnect even more appealing.

Overall, I had an excellent experience and I don't think I could possibly give any other FCA dealer my business. It's about a 40 minute drive from my house, but the customer service and care I got from the crew here make it absolutely worth the drive.

I had a great experience at Suburban Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep with Michael Davis as the salesman that helped me. He respected my price range and did not try and push anything beyond my comfort zone. He was a nice guy, and spent a lot of time with me to make sure I found what I was looking for. I would give 5 stars, but at a few points in the process (from beginning to driving off the lot) the dealership itself could have been speedier. All else though, I would highly recommend their services to a friend!

I had been getting the run around on leasing a 2018 Dodge Durango RT with another dealership and after looking online I saw that Suburban had the exact truck I was looking for. From the time my husband called and confirmed they had the vehicle in stock to my arrival they had my information in the system and I was greeted by Alan Bradley within 5 mins. The entire process was quick! I had being going back and forth with another dealership for a week and was thinking this was going to be another drawn out process but it wasn t!

Alan assured that I d be walking out that day with my truck (keep in mind the other place I had made 2 visits all taking 2-3 HOURS , numerous phone calls spanning over a week and no truck). So I am very pleased. I knew what I wanted, I did not want to waste anymore time and Suburban delivered. Highly satisfied and definitely recommend this place. Go see Alan he s great!

I took my Charger in for a regular oil change and was given a written estimate of $29. When they called 90 minutes later to tell me it was ready (late morning on a Thursday), I was given a bill for $44. When I complained, they explained that $29 was for a typical 6-cylinder and that my V8 Hemi took more oil and a more expensive grade. I then asked if they saw my car when they sat in it to get the mileage to write the estimate. Of course he did and after I held my ground, they honored the $29 price. If I wasn't so stubborn, they certainly would not have honored their estimate. First bad experience here, but certainly not very cool.

After research online we went in to find the exact car we knew we wanted, and work with their financing options. Everyone on the team was exceptional, going beyond expectations to the point that they stayed after hours to make sure it was all perfect.

I know that means "they got the sale!" but there's a difference between taking a sale and doing so in a way that says "I care about you having a great experience." in the process. I don't buy new cars often, but I'm glad we went here and will definitely do so again in the future.

None of my experiences with this dealership have been good. I have leased a vehicle from them as well as take in another vehicle for routine maintenance several times. I won't be returning for either in the future. Here are a few snapshots.

After looking at their inventory online I went to look a new car on their lot. My experience with new car sales was to have the Salesman write up the wrong lease price during the purchase process only to discover their error an hour and a half into the paperwork causing the price to be raised by $30/month. I didn't want to miss out on the FCA rebates that were expiring in a few days so I accepted the terms. When I took delivery of the car the dealer had done ZERO pre-delivery prep. The car was far out of alignment and pulling hard left. They didn't do any sort of body inspection or wash and left all of the body alignment marks on the car. I had to return within 2 days of spending 3 hours buying a brand new car for them to fix the steering and wash off all of the marks. A day later I had my car back and the issues that should have never made it to me were fixed.

On another occasion I brought one of my vehicle in for brake work and an oil change. When I got home I noticed they had put 40 miles on my car! I called up the service manager and he said they had to drive it out to a clear part of the road (there were some light flurries the night before and maybe a quarter inch on parts of the road) to test the brakes and joked that they wouldn't have joyrided my car unless it was a Viper. Are you kidding me? The freeway and several main roads that are covered by salt trucks are right around the dealer. 40 miles! At that time, I foolishly accepted his excuse and moved on. That was really dumb of me and I should have turned away from this dealer at that very moment.

And finally on my last THREE visits I will ever have, they failed to do a very simple job not once but twice! I brought in my car for the rear differential fluid to be drained and replaced. When I went to pick up my car I noticed that they had used BG fluids instead of Mopar on the invoice. It seemed odd to me so I looked up the part number listed on BG's website. The dealer and put the wrong fluid into the $2000 limited slip differential in my car. I was fortunate enough to catch it when I got home... I thought. I brought my car back in the next day to have them change it out with the right fluid. A few months go by and I take my car out of storage and drive it a bit. Pulling slowly through a parking lot I start to notice a groaning noise coming from the back end of the car. They managed to screw up AGAIN. Either they never changed the fluid or they put the wrong fluid back into my car again. At this point, I was irate. I called and spoke to the Service Director because the Service Managers all seemed to be incompetent. I asked them to open up the unit and inspect it for damage and to take a photo to show me if there was any unusual wear because I didn't trust them to do a complete job. I got a call about an hour and a half later that my car was done and the noise was gone but they did not open the unit (surprise!). I left a voicemail for the Service Director about them trying to get away with an inadequate job and he called me back about an hour later. He claimed he didn t think any damage was done, how the heck could he know? They didn t inspect the unit! I thought about it during that time, if these guys could mess up a simple fluid change, not once but twice, it was probably for the best that they weren t going to take a part the rear end. I told him If they didn't want to do the labor to get the unit open, I wanted a year warranty on the part and service from the dealer, which he agreed to.

During all of my visits I have never felt the dealership go beyond what they felt was minimum that they needed to do. Their level of service is unacceptable and I will advise anyone I know to stay away from Suburban Chrysler in Troy including those of you reading this.

I was referred to Joe by another salesman from the Ford dealership I used for my lease as my wife was really interested in the 2018 Jeep Compass Latitude 4x4. I talked with Joe on the phone briefly earlier in the week and when we came Friday to look at the vehicle, Joe had it running on the side of the building waiting for us. Joe allowed us to take our time on the test drive and had waters waiting for us at his desk when we came back. We went through the paperwork and Joe made sure the numbers were exactly where we wanted them to be (slightly below even) before submitting the paperwork for approval. The rest of the process was just as enjoyable and efficient.

We then dealt with John in finance to finalize some paperwork and again, the service provided was top notch. We left the dealership after about 3 hours with a new vehicle that exceeded our expectations. We will definitely see Joe again for our Jeep needs in the future.

Note - The 3 hours flew by quickly as they have a very nice lounge area with coffee, water, popcorn, comfortable seating and a television. Although we did not spend much time in this area due to the hands on approach Joe took to make sure we received the best service possible, it still was nice for the brief time we were there and the popcorn hit the spot as an afternoon snack. Lol.

This is a really nice and big Dealer. The first time I went in just to give me and idea of what I was dealing with, talking about car prices, the lady that I talked to refused to give me a car price, she told me: "I will give you the price ONLY if you are taking the car today". How is that possible??? We all compare before making a decision so important. I was about to buy my car with another dealer, but then I was recommended by a friend to talk to another guy in the same dealer, this time was a completely different experience, he was always able to help and provide all the information I needed. I am happy with my purchase. It just has some little noise issues on the steering wheel, and I have not had the time to take it back for a check.

Bought my first Chrysler here but the salesman Anthony Abdullah was no help at all, didn t make me feel comfortable at all , he never showed me anything on my car, I had to go there the next day to have him show me some things about it. I do love my car but I will never go to Anthony again not will my friends or family. I got my first oil change and was told there was no dip stick, when I called Anthony he said , our cars have to pass an inspection before they sell, well obviously this was missed and I was blamed there was no dip stick and they would not help. I called the used car sales manager 5 days ago and still no call back. I called Gollung Chrysler to order the part and received it next day. Golling Chrysler is where I will be going to. Anthony is the worst salesman I have ever had.

Hands down the best service I've ever had at a car...

Hands down the best service I've ever had at a car dealership. I got $1,000 more on my trade in and had my hands on the steering wheel of a 2017 Jeep Compass within 2 hours of meeting with Max Dombeck. Couldn't have asked for a smoother transition with an out of state title.
