I have always purchased my vehicles from Suburban Chrysler Troy because of my salesman Jerry Leruth he is always honest , trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable in the process of buying a vehicle. I can always count on him to find me the right vehicle at best fits my needs. George in service is by far the best in customer care and overall knowledge of vehicle maintanence. He always goes out of his way to please his customers. The dealership is very close in proximity and very clean that's the reason I would recommend this location.

Visit was average. Wheels were not balanced as requested but was charged for service. Still felt major wheel shake at 70 plus mph. Got resolved at a tire shop three days later. Extended wait time (2.5 hrs) beyond promised time was not expected.

Three years ago I went to have recalls fixed. I came back to review a $1200.00 estimate for things I needed to do NOW. $2400.00 for things I should have done as well. I never had any of them done, and my van is fine.
I just got back from there for more recall work. I also wanted them to look at my powertrain mounts (engine, trans, etc), be cause something was loose and banging a bit. They said I would have to leave it there for two or three days just to have it looked at. Absolutely stellar service (not).
I am sure if I was their patsy and let them have my $2400.00 three (was it four?) years ago, they would have treated me like a prince. I am also sure that my vehicle would have ran great after all that work. Maybe even better than it does without it.

Worst service department ever

Worst service department ever

Took my car in for a rattling dashboard.

They kept my car for 6 days and told me they didn t hear anything.

Have to pay $90 diagnose fee for nothing.

When I arrived at home, I realize they chipped my front lip and 3 new dings on driver s door.

So I actually paid $90 to damage my car.

When I reviewing the 1star reviews, I saw a comment name Brian Allor had same experience with me.

I see this is the way how they make money.

I went in to speak to Kristine Hill about buying out my existing lease early. She was able to get me into a new lease on a 2017 Charger Hellcat for just about what that buyout would have cost me per month! She is a very good salesperson!!

Everyone at the dealership was extremely polite and helpful and the whole process took a reasonable amount of time. Kristine was able to get the paperwork squared away while I cleaned out my old vehicle at home. When I returned to the dealership they had me out the door in the new car within an hour!

I did spot a few paint blemishes on the vehicle and some minor rim damage to one wheel, but the dealership has offered to fix those issues at my convenience.

This must be my 3rd or 4th transaction at Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Troy and I will keep going back as long their service remains this stellar!

Suburban Chysler Is THE place to get your next car. Tom Brown and Maria were exceptional in the entire process. They were so attentive to us and what we were looking for. They made the buying experience a pleasure. We were in and out of the dealership in under an hour but were given so much personal attention. It's a great place and I will be buying all my future vehicles from Suburban. We really like our new Pacifica!

Doug Meyers and whomever fixed my Jeep is excellent. Went in thinking about what the problem was, ready to spend $200 on something that wouldn't fix the problem and Doug talked with me long enough to understand the issue I was having and point me in the right direction. His quote of the cost was more than I originally expected to spend but it fixed the issue and the quote was very close to the actual cost in the end. I am very happy with the service provided and the cost for such service. This is an excellent service department. Every time I've been there I've had a great experience. Mostly for oil changes but also for a few other things. No matter what it was I have never once been pressured to buy anything or service. It has always been an honest truth of what I needed, which wasn't much, thankfully. My 2011 Jeep Compass feels like it's running like new again - thank you Doug and team!

Mike went above and beyond no question! I will be back because of Mike some of the other reps that I dealt with were questionable, but Mike showed no byass. Thank you Mike!

Took my 2016 in for its 3rd oil change this morning, 1st oil change I also had them rotate the tires, they did, but did not reset the tire pressures as the front tire pressure is less then the rear so i will no longer pay them to do that. 2nd oil change, no issues. 3rd oil change I decided to open the hood when I got to my office to find they left my center cover off, thank god I did not drive far or it would have fallen off the top of the engine were they laid it and goodbye for good. Poor quality work, they seam to rush around and focus on the money, not the quality of work. New location is in my future for all future oil changes and work.

horrible customer service they act like they wanna help you but dont be fooled these guys are scam artists they act so busy when no one is in there i recommend everyone going to a different dealership. be warned they ruined my car. had to take it to go get serviced from another dealership they took care of me as if i bought a brand new car.

Do not buy or take in your vehicle for repairs to this location.

My wife purchased a used Jeep Wrangler from the dealership and after a year had to take it in for repairs.

Dropped of vehicle at service for electrical issue where car would not start on initial attempt and dash board indicators went haywire. After a week, I was informed of potential issue with starter and grounding wires, which cost $1000 to repair. Parts were changed and when vehicle was picked up same issue happened. Drop the car off again, this time it took them 2 weeks to tell me it was a problem with the radio, which they unplugged to solve the problem. As expected the issue was not resolved.

I ve requested for someone to meet with me to discuss the false diagnostics, have not heard from anyone in 4 days. Call or email, nothing.

Highly disappointed in the manner this situation has been managed, it clearly shows the low standard in customer service and lack of accountability from a product & service provider.

You really have to stride and effort to provide such a poor experience.

Used car buyers beware! Have had a nothing but a horrible experience after purchasing a used 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership. Have had the vehicle for a little over a year and have had nothing but problems since I've bought it. This review is mainly for the service I have received and the way they give their clients the run around.

When I first test drove the Jeep there was a knock underneath the car and I was told that once the drive shaft was replaced the car would no longer make that noise. They replaced it, took it for a test drive the knock was gone. Three days later the knock came back and the check engine light came on. So of course I took it back to the dealership and told them this was unacceptable that it needed to be fixed, they in turn told me that it was the transfer case that needed replaced and it would cost me $2500 to replace! I told them I would not be paying for that and that I felt they jerked me around when I was buying it by leaving this out! The transfer case is a pretty important part on a 4WD jeep, I felt like this should have been noticed upon first inspection. They told me that the most they could do was pay half the price of the repair! I feel that I should not have been responsible for something that they "left" out of the sale.

Went back 300 miles later to have my oil changed and ran into even more problems! First they told me my transfer case was leaking and needing repaired, you can believe I was shocked by this because their mechanics just replaced it earlier. They also told me my front suspension needed replaced and would cost $2000 dollars to do so. I was not happy and made sure to let the person know this, all he could say was "Sorry that's what's wrong with your car" So I left and went to another shop to get a second opinion. Was told that my front suspension was in good condition and did not need replaced and that the transfer case was leaking, which I was already annoyed about as Suburban just replaced it and obviously did not do it correct.

Now my Jeep will not run at all and I have to put even more money into it because the transfer case is not functioning. I will not be back to this dealership and would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

**Update - The transmission totally failed so its just a car sitting in my driveway now. Taking my business elsewhere

I worked with Anthony Abdullah who was a pleasure to work with. He worked patiently with me throughout the process while I made my decision. I had leased a beautiful white Dodge Challenger that needed to be returned. I didn't want to, but it's time was pretty much up. Mike knew how i felt about my Challenger. He spent a lot of extra time and energy into finding me a new car that I would love almost as much as my old one. After much work, we found my cute new zippy orange Dodge Dart. I am enjoying flying around the town in it immensely!! And I'm thrilled with the low monthly payment and great gas mileage!! Mike made my transition from the Challenger to the Dart a very easy one. I honestly cried the night I said good bye to my Challenger, but my new Dart has returned a smile upon my face!! :)

I purchased a brand new Jeep Patriot last summer, it was a simple easy, fast process. However, most unfortunately, someone hit me on the expressway and the car was totalled. If this wasn't bad enough I continue to deal with the situation as Suburban Chrysler has not submitted their portion of the paperwork/ check to my credit lender. The crash happened last September, and the paperwork keeps haunting me since this dealership can't get their act together to help me.
They will sell you a car, but when the worst happens they can't even both to help by finishing paperwork.
At this point my credit is getting ruined because they simply won't finish the process to cancel an extended warranty. I have already paid my share out of pocket, so it's really unfortunate that they can't simply help me to finish this process.

I never recommend working with this dealership, as they are completely unresponsive and unprofessional.

This is my second vehicle from Suburban and without fail, the experience was stellar. They take the time to find a vehicle that is your perfect match. This is whether you have a basic idea of what you want or if you're just getting started. Service is always friendly and knowledgable so you can say this is a well rounded Dealer. I recommend asking for Glen, he's one of the best and friendliest to work with during the new car process.

He makes servicing my vehicle a good experience. I was also very impressed with George who assisted me with all my questions and followed up with any of my concerns. I am grateful to everyone at the service department for taking care of me and my car and I will continue to take my car to them in the future!

Joe Bellomo did an excellent job finding us exactly what we wanted and getting us the best price. He also made us aware of all the incentives that were available to us which made our car less expensive than we head anticipated. The new cars on the lot were easy to walk around and look at and anything we had our eye on magically appeared at the front door with keys in it for a test drive. The inside of the dealership was clean and well spaced out so you don't get that cramped feeling while you're sitting doing the paperwork. We highly recommend Suburban Chrysler Jeep Dodge. We actually drive past three other Chrysler dealerships just because of how well this one is operated. Worth the trip every time as remind us with their great service and friendly atmosphere. This is one dealership that won't leave you frustrated.

Rude, horrible customer service. Never helpful on any visit, money hungry. Cares only about sucking every dollar out of you. Never have I experienced an ounce of "over & above" customer service one multiple visits for two different new vehicles (2012 300 and 2013 ram 1500). Would highly recommend going elsewhere

This dealer is fantastic if you want to pay more for your vehicle. I recently went here to get a price on a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. I was given a monthly price for 24 mos. with money out of pocket. After going back and forth with the Finance Manager he said he "couldn't go any lower" so I walked and went to another dealer close by. Their first offer (with the same money down and lease terms) WAS $76/MONTH LOWER than Suburban ($1800 over the course of the lease).

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

isappointed in the follow-up promised from the service department. I scheduled a service online via the website (2 weeks in advance), included a recall number on the request and followed up via email to the provided email to ensure the part would be available at my time of service. When I arrived, I was taken care of promptly, but wasn't informed the part wasn't available until I had been waiting for 30 minutes. My service adviser promised to order the part for me and said it would be available the following business day and that he would call me when it arrived. 2 weeks later and I've received no follow up call. Will definitely be taking my business elsewhere from now on, which is disappointing because I had a great relationship with this service adviser from a previous service appointment.

I looked between several dealerships and Suburban had the best inventory and even offered the best price. Kyle Huber helped me with my purchase to find the perfect vehicle for my needs and even get a price better than the other three places I looked at. I highly recommend asking for him if you want someone to help you rather than turn a sale. When closing on the car their was a discount that was having issues in the system with a third party the dealership still honored the agreed price on their dime. They had the specific color and style of my car traded to them from another dealer and they even had it arrive early than I expected. When this happened Kyle Huber was kind enough to offer and help me transport some items from my old car to my new one including inflatable kayaks. If you want someone that s committed to cars and not just a paycheck player I d recommend going to Suburb and ask for Kyle.

I don't want to waste anymore time writing this review, but I will say that for your own benefit stay away from Suburban of Troy for your next vehicle purchase.

Trading in one car and finding another to fit the bill, my dealer, Joe Bellomo was wonderful to work with. I was very specific in my needs and he searched diligently for the vehicle I wanted, even calling me every couple of days with a progress report. Great customer service!

There is more inventory to choose from here so you have more options and a better chance a getting a deal that is good and fits your needs best.

Far as I am concerned this is the best dealership service section in the area. I have plenty of kids that are all older and driving now. We all drive Dodge/Jeep/etc. products. So, we have had plenty of visits to all the area dealer service centers in this area for various reasons. This one has the best track record of servicing our cars correctly, and taking care of us. I have no issues taking my cars here.

Good for service but this is NOT the place to sell back/turn-in your car. They lowball you and then turn around and sell it for top dollar. For example, they gave me $2650 (which I had to fight up from $2250) for a 2008 Dodge Avenger with 130K miles and then turned around and have it listed for $7400 on their website. Are you kidding me? Although it is a solid car and I kept on top of the maintenance, that is quite the markup! And from a quick scan of the images, they didn't even do basic bodywork touch-ups to warrant such a price increase. There is also a $400 repair needed for the 'check engine light' to turn off. Shady. I also had an interested buyer that I referred to them and they never bothered to follow-up with her. However I do love my new Jeep Renegade so it's not all bad.

I always have a great experience with Noah Webb at SCDJ of Troy! I have made three purchases with him so far and each time is easy, and fast! he does not waste time with a lot of sales mumbo jumbo and gets down to the bottom line with concise explanations! I was in a huge bind and needed to get into a car FAST. I gave Noah the details of what I needed on Wednesday and I was driving off the lot on Saturday. (note: the delay was due to my own schedule). Basically if your impatient like me and dont want to spend all day at a dealership, but also want the best deal possible, Call Noah Webb!

For scheduled maintenance in the past I've had a good experience here. Took my wife's Jeep to get an oil change, scheduled tuneup and check to see why the heat was luke warm and not getting hot. They called to tell me that the heater core was bad and needed to be changed out. Quote for all 3 was $2,800. I thought that was a bit much so I shopped around and found the going rate was about half that much. I called back after I read up on previous maintenance documents and stated that since we'd been doing the scheduled maintenance including the radiator flush n fill that a heater core issue was a warranted item. The service advisor told me that is the case but only if the heater core was not leaking and he stated that it indeed was leaking. Since I haven't smelled any ant-freeze I was skeptical so I called Four Seasons Radiator in Madison Heights. I took it there and the gentleman informed me that the heater core was not leaking and he fixed it by doing a power-flush for $140.

I can understand a dealer being a little more expensive but to outright lie and mislead as these people did is totally unacceptable. They deserve zero stars for this visit and it will be difficult for me to trust them in the future. Four Seasons Radiator gets five stars however as they could've easily sold me on a heater core replacement. If you own a Chrysler long enough you'll have heater core issues so take it to Four Seasons these guys are the best!

I had already been to several dealerships before I went to Suburban CDJR Troy. I was over the whole car shopping and ready to throw in the towel. I had noticed a car I was interested in on their website so my husband suggested we go check it out. When we entered the building we were immediately greeted by a receptionist. I told her what we were looking for and she had me take a seat. We were then introduced to Bill Brys and from then on everything was smooth sailing! He grabbed the car I wanted immediately and let me take it for a drive. We got started on the paperwork soon after and he had the car through the service center, washed and ready for me to drive home that night. Bill was so accomadating and friendly. Not pushy at all. That was one thing that had turned me away from other dealerships. Buying a car is a big deal and not something I want to be forced into. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and would return, myself, for any future car buying. Thank you Suburban CDJR for a great experience.
