Fraud!! I started received 2 magazines in Decembe...

Fraud!! I started received 2 magazines in December '18. One is for Golf magazine; I have not played golf in over 15 years... the second for People magazine addressed to my Grandmother who passed away almost 6 years ago. I was told Subco was the 3rd party who subscribed. I saw on BBB that many people have the same experience. I have been on hold waiting for "customer service" for nearly a 1/2 hour.

I share the same experience of many on this review page it seems. I too was sent a few magazines that I had not signed up for. I was very unhappy and was directed to seek clarification from Subco. Angela from Subco was very nice and informative. She helped me cancel subscription and was very prompt in her responses. I'm very please, thank you Angela

Was referred to Subco to cancel magazine subscriptions arriving at my home addressed to previous owner who had been gone for several years. Prior to finding Subco I attempted numerous times to return to sender with no success. I received a very prompt, professional and detailed response to my request and am totally confident that my issue is now solved.

I contacted Subco after learning the Sports Illustrated magazines my husband was receiving (and didn't order) were processed through them. I received prompt and professional emails from Angela when I contacted Subco asking to cancel the subscription.

Worse customer service ever. I was on hold for 45 min. When I did get a human I was told that there system crashed and they can't help me. It is very robotic you think that the automatic answering system could state that before I held for 45 min. My call was time sensitive so I asked the person to write a note stating that I called but she could not to do that. Stated that they could not take notes

I've received a Sports Illustrated magazine and i was not into sports. A representative from Subco was able to locate the magazine and advised me on how the magazine came about. I guess i purchase something online and i was given a 1 year subscription as part of a promotion. The representative was able to cancel the subscription and was kind enough to send me a confirmation letter.

We started receiving a magazine addressed to my brother-in-law who died 20 years ago and never lived at our address. When I finally got fed up enough, I found a number to call and they referred me to Subco who handled the situation promptly and even said they would be sure to put my address on the Do Not Contact list. I would definitely do business with them. I would give them a 5 if we had never received the magazine at all. It just seems so strange that ESPN should find a dead man's name and then send their magazine to an address in a town where he never lived in hope that he would subscribe. Makes you wonder where they get their mailing list. But Subco did a good job.

As a result of Subco's Customer Service there was nothing left for me to do and I learned some background information relating to my request which was awesome. I simply want to stop receiving Cosmopolitan Magazine and that's just what will happen. Easy Peasy! Thanks again Brie & Subco.

I was anxious in trying to cancel People subscription and subco ensured me my subscription canceled properly and that I wouldn t be charged since I never actually ordered this. Subscription just kept coming. It would have been nice to know it wasn t something I did order by accident. In fact it was actually a free promo I was getting. Having known that would have eased my anxiety. They replied back quickly and were extremely helpful.

They responded with a very professional email explaining how this had happened and informed me that the subscription would be cancelled. However, they stated that I may receive a few more issues, which I would prefer not to.

I've read a lot of reviews blaming Subco but as I understand it the information comes from Millennium Marketing Group and if so we should be laying the blame on them too .

Very bad service on part of subco. In Nov 2019, recieved a digital subscription to a magazine via a just fab purchase. Was told to contact subco with regards to the receipt and information. Numerous phone calls and emails later, i still did not receive my digital mag in fact everytime i call subco i get a different answer and no resoltion. I even got told there were no notes in my record despite my numerous calls and emails. Here i am missing out on my subscription because subco does not know how to disperse information to customers. So sad . No wonder alot of ppl report subscriptions they havent signed up for. What a mess of a company Subco is.

Started July 2018 cancelling my mother's subscription - a woman 90+ years old was signed up for Fit/Bicycle/Marie Claire and more - who does that and then after asking that all be cancelled and her debit/credit card stop being used I was told today an automatic renewal was processed - I have an email in July - all was stopped - almost a year later and another magazine arrives???? and a renewal was processed? How was this done? No one answers the phone in California at the 800 # either - go figure

I contacted Subco today because of a sudden onslaught of magazines that I've received apparently from Millenium Marketing. The Subco representative was Edward and he was super! He was very helpful in explaining what was going on and assured me that these magazines were complimentary and assisted me in providing contact information for the other magazines that were not coming through his company. Above and beyond customer service - a rarity these days! I am very appreciative of such professional, well informed and helpful service! 5 stars!

I called Subco to find out why our company was receiving multiple magazine subscriptions that we had not requested. Angela was quick, courteous, and extremely helpful in tracking down the subscriptions and went the extra mile to notify the company that requested the subscriptions in our name that we were cancelling so that they would not try to reactivate them. Angela was amazing to work with and was beyond helpful even though I was not a paying customer. I appreciate the attention given to my inquiries.

Angela responded and went above and beyond what I had expected (which was actually no response at at all), explaining the origin of the magazine and placing my address on their no-mail list. Had a great experience with company representative Angie clearing up confusion about an unsolicited magazine subscription. My visions of being billed for something I didn't order (or want) have pretty much disappeared. Common sense would dictate that if you send a trial sample of something you notify the customer that it's a no-obligation trial, but apparently that's not the way it's done these days. Thanks Angie.

I currently receive 5 magazines subscriptions which were received through qualifying purchases from JusFab, which partnered up with SubCo for the magazine subscriptions. When I first contacted SubCo the General Manager provided great customer service and a thorough explanation as to what role they played in my magazine subscription. I did not receive any additional charges or there were no hidden fees. I am simply enjoying my magazine subscriptions and I am thinking of re-enrolling once they are up for the year. It is really unfortunate to see the negative reviews as my experience was been nothing but great with this company.

I received a complimentary 1-yr subscription with an online purchase. I noticed an email from the magazine (not the online retailer I purchased from) a few days later with the following sentence: "You may contact customer service within 30 days to cancel your subscription and the free trial issue is yours to keep free of charge". I called up the online retailer I got the subscription from and their customer service couldn't answer my question and just gave me the number to SubCo saying I should call them for an answer instead.

I was expecting the same run-around but honestly Casey (the SubCo Customer Service rep) was really helpful, friendly yet professional and quickly answered my questions. The best part is that I got confirmation that I won't get charged for the subscription after all. Thanks for your help Casey!

I was/is having the same problems as other people described. I got into a 2-year Seventeen magazine subscription and I have never in the past requested it. I first contacted Hearst, the publisher, and they referred me to this company (Hearst customer service, by the way, sucks.) I called them at the toll-free number on their website. I waited for about 15 minutes with 10 callers ahead of me. Once I spoke with a representative, she was extremely nice and explained to me why I got the subscription. Some company called Western Readers Service provided me with an "Introductory free subscription with no obligations during or after the subscription trial period." She confidently tells me I won't be charged. I will keep checking my bank statements and look out for a bill, which will be on their tab and not mine. All Subco does is receive requests to send out magazines, and not really related to the publisher. If you have this issue I suggest calling them directly, or e-mailing them. They CAN cancel it, and remove you from future mailing lists.

I called Subco to learn the origin of the magazines I received. Brie from Subco was prompt and returned my calls twice. She is professional, explained the details of the promotion, clarified the parameters and future plans of the magazine senders. I found Brie to be an excellent Customer Service Representative! It is rare that a company performs prompt, efficient responses to a customer or someone who was not yet a customer. I very much appreciate Brie's attention, solution to the issue and complying with my request for written communication. Thank you for the proper handling of this issue. 9-3-19
