I emailed Subco concerning a billing issue and their response time was really quick! Treated with respect as well.
I emailed Subco concerning a billing issue and their response time was really quick! Treated with respect as well.
Angie from customer service quickly resolved an issue with unwanted subscriptions from another site from someone else using my info. Her explanation of the situation was reassuring and she was also helpful in hopefully preventing the issue from reoccurring. I really appreciate the help they provided.
I had very timely and considerate service from Brie. Would recommend their business.
Subco placed two fraudulent magazine subscription orders in our name this week. ***Beware!!!!!*** Oh, and they do not answer their 800#.
Was receiving a magazine that we did not order. When I called to cancel that magazine told me it had been order thru a 3rd party - Subco. I emailed Subco yesterday and I had an answer from Angie today explaining how the magazine subscription originated and canceling it. Prompt and courteous response fixing my issue . Thanks.
I was having ongoing delivery issues with a magazine subscription. Angie, in Customer Service, helped by calling the publisher and getting to the bottom of the issue. She called me to ask how I wanted resolution - back issues vs. extended subscription. She called the publisher back with my wishes and called me again to tell me all was good. I even got another call when she found out exactly WHICH issue I'd be receiving next and when I'd likely get it. I had called the publisher myself previously and got NOWHERE. 5 stars for Angie!
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MANY 5 STAR REVIEWS HERE ARE LIKELY PHONY! This company began sending me a subscription to US Weekly that I did not order. Several unsuccessful attempts to unscribribe directly through US Weekly finally lead me to Subco. They got my info from another group called US Periodicals, and who knows where they got it. As for the phony reviews: Seriously, how many people with little-to-no review history are likely to post glowing reviews to a middle-man company like this that merely processes subscription requests made by Organization A for Publisher B? I understand the magazine industry is in dire straits and that selling ad space is the only way they make money anymore. To keep those ad rates up, they must show sizable circulation, so i guess they are willing to stoop to almost anything to get subscription rates up. But the waste of paper involved in sending unwanted magazines to unsuspecting customers AS A BUSINESS MODEL should be considered a crime against the environment. Shame on Subco and shame on US Periodicals.
Never ordered this publication
Do not receive ANY MAGAZINES via USPS
Not interested in this or any magazines
Stop subscription/delivery immediately
Do not send a bill
Voice Mail: states their out celebrating at a luncheon
Leave voice mail-someone will get back
Reports to: Attorney General-California, BBB and US Postal Commissioner (sending fraudulent mail)
I had a wonderful experience speaking with their customer service agent. She had a great personality..........Terrific!!
very very good customer service. quick response. makes me feel not taken advantage of
Subco are is robbing my bank account! They can not be reached they will not answer the phone because the are to busy counting the money the are steeling from our bank accounts!
Cheyenne was wonderful to work with! The customer service was fast and pleasant!
Oh, hell no! First I get a subscription I never ordered and then you want to leave me on hold for more than ten minutes to try and take care of it? This is not going to fly.
I called to cancel an unsolicited, unwanted subscription and spoke to Angel. She was very cheerful, kind and helpful and made the cancellation quickly and easily. I appreciate her great customer service. Thank you.
I was very pleased with the service I received from Subco. I had an issue where I randomly started receiving magazine subscriptions in the mail, so I contacted the magazines and they gave me Subco's contact information. Subco responded quickly and answered all of my questions very thoroughly!
I contacted Subco to get help in stopping a magazine I was receiving through another source and was pleased by the quick response I got once I had sent the proper information to them. Brie was very informative as to why I had received this subscription and assured me that my request was being taken care of. What a relief to be able to have someone who is reliable and has integrity as Brie on your side. Thanks again!
I have received several magazine subscriptions for magazines I would never read otherwise. They said this company is who took out the subscriptions. Make sure and cancel any unwanted subscriptions as soon as possible
They were very helpful in correcting an issue with a magazine subscription. Angela took care of my problem right away.
I received a People magazine I did not order and they told me Subco signed me up. I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR IT, NOR HAVE I EVER HEARD OF SUBCO!!! I TRIED CALLING AND THEY'RE OUT OF THE OFFICE UNTIL 7/5. WHO BUT A SHADY COMPANY WOULD DO THIS?!
Terrible customer service it's been over a week since I left them a message and email and no return call back.
The customer care service at Subco was superior. Please personally commend Edward, your customer care rep in Fresno. He is professional, prompt, and kind. Many thanks!!!
I received a prompt response to my inquiry. Angela answered all my concerns directly. I appreciate the professional service.
I was helped by Cassie at Subco, I was getting ESPN Magazines I did not subscribe to, Cassie was able to help me get them canceled. I am very happy with the fast service.
Had occasion to request cancellation of subscriptions that were created as part of a product offer. Subco handled immediately - great customer service from Lori, Raquel, and Alysha. Thank you!
My subscription issue was immediately taken care of. Thank you!
AWFUL!! I DID NOT sign up for this. I called 17 magazine twice already and they told me my purchase was made through Subco. Only problem is I NEVER put in my email, card information or any other information for subco! How is this being paid for? Where are they getting the money? I already called and CANCELLED in July(which was a pain to deal with because they never answer!). This organization is AWFUL!!
I was able to text and cancel my subscription of which I was not aware I was part of. I texted the information and as little as 5 minutes I was done. Great customer service
Good luck reaching an agent horrible customer service oh wait no customer service
I inadvertently said yes to a magazine subscription I did not want. Edward was fast, professional and entirely helpful in making certain I did not receive any magazines I didn't want and I thoroughly appreciated his prompt and courteous service.
Was given promotional subscriptions to multiple magazines that I didn t want by a marketing company, but Subco customer service ended the subscriptions for me quickly and easily.
Brie was able to track down why I was receiving a magazine subscription I had not ordered. She made sure she covered every aspect of the cancellation including informing me what had happened and that I would not be charged and that the subscription was not set to renew automatically. There's more. She added my name to the their internal Do Not Mail List to prevent future orders from being processed through their clearing house and notified the subscription company to cancel in their system. Brie's service was, simply, amazing.
So far I have had a very good experience with subco. They have responded in a very timely manner
I recently began receiving a magazine subscription that I didn't order, I called the magazine's customer service number to be told the account was through Subco. So I contacted them and they were able to figure out what was going on and cancel the unwanted subscription for me. Really quick responses and helpful customer service representatives.
I have never subscribed any magazine and yet received 3 subscriptions to my old mailing address since July 2012, all seems through Subco Inc. I really wonder how they obtained my address and email information.
Still trying to cancel these subscriptions and figure out what other magazines I have been subscribed to.
I received good service and a quick response about my issue.
Subco's response was speedy and efficient and handled my unsolicited subscription with ease. Angela was the associate that handled my case and was very professional. The only thing unanswered was how a stranger's name appeared on the magazine with my address. I'm just glad to have it taken care of.
Assuming they follow thru on their promises, they served my needs well.
I never signed up for a magizine. These people are paying money to sign people up and have the person receiving the magazines pick up the rest of the bill.
If this isn't what they are doing exactly, it is at least very close to what they are doing. I keep cancelling the subscriptions online and they keep signing me back up. It says there is money on file, but they don't have any of my card info.
I'm going to sue if they sign me up again.
I received excellent and prompt service from Brie! She got to the root cause of the problem and clearly detailed actions taken and what to expect going forward. Thank you!
Rachel was very helpful in resolving my concern very quickly. She made it simple and easy.
Thank You Angela for responding so quickly to my request to stop a magazine subscription I didn't wish to receive. Very professional company everyone !
Quick response and resolution of issue by Cynthia. She was thorough and professional in explaining what to expect.
Quick and honest response, thank you for your time explaining everything to me.
When I called Subco I had the pleasure of speaking with Matt . He not only took the time to resolve my issues, but explain how the subscription process works. Thank you !
What a Scam!!! This company puts in orders for magazines that you never ordered and several of them. And I believe from another company called Millennium Publishing. They all damn crooks!!!
I would give them -20,000 negative stars but you have to give in order to publish!
They were very prompt at resolving my issue. Thank you Subco!
This is Indu Aggarwal. I had good experience. It was quick. Magazine is amazing
I received excellent customer service in a very timely fashion! Thank you Angela!
I received quick response and my issue was satisfactorily resolved.
Very helpful. Answered all the questions. Found out the Magazine HGTV was being sent as a four year subscription. No charge. They are hoping we will subscribe... Okaaaay! Interesting mag. Quick look and into the recycle bin.
I started receiving magazine I never ordered it. Now, I'm checking credit cards to see if I was somehow billed. I also suspect these people are nabbing orders when you check out through other stores.
I can't get Subco to answer their phone ... I doubt they'll respond to my email. We'll see.
Meredith Corp., which publishes Ladies Home Journal and More magazines, which I never ordered, said they are helpless to stop my subscription. Seriously?
I'm furious about this, and this company's business practices. Will be filing official complaints at all the appropriate places ...
The customer representative, Angel was very helpful in helping me with the issue. I didn't realize that I could receive Shape magazine for 2 years for free!! That was an added extra bonus!! She should definitely get a raise!!
I had a great experience with Subco Customer Service and with Angela and Roxanne, the customer service agents. They helpfully clarified my confusion about subscriptions and quickly fixed the problem. Thank you!
I sent an email asking why I keep getting a certain magazine and asking to cancel it.
They sent a nice email explaining it and canceled it. My only pet peeve? It took a month for them to reply!
I began receiving Seventeen Magazine. When I FINALLY got answers (almost four weeks later) I was told this company, Subco Inc, was responsible. SCAM. I too cannot get through, like the others, to find out "how" I was subscribed.
I had not ordered a magazine, and they took care of answering my email immediately. Great customer service.
I called and spoke with Angel to cancel my unsolicited subscription to Us Weekly. She was professional, quick, friendly and responsive.
They were prompt in resolving my subscription issue.
D.L.Murphy
Very efficient! Great communication! Raquel answered all my emails and cancelled a subscription I accidentally signed up for. I kept expecting the extra magazine to show up anyway but, no! She handled the situation perfectly. Thanks!
I received various magazine I NEVER signed up for. I called to inquire with those magazine companies on how they received my personal info and that I did NOT sign up and did NOT authorize these deliveries. I was relayed that Subco INC signed me up. My response...how the hell can someone else sign up for under false identity under someone else and now I have to reach out to this company to find out how they got my info and to cancel the subscriptions?! I contacted Subco and the rep didn't provide any feedback to me other than they will remove my information and also informed me to contact Millennium Marketing Group and that they pay this other company for personal information and they too sign customers up. (FRAUDENTLY). For those having the same problems I encourage you to file with the Better Business Bureau and with the Federal Trade Commission.
Cynthia from customer service was so helpful, kind and understanding with fixing a mistake on the account! Thank you so much!
They processed my request quickly and I hope accurately, waiting to get my refund check.
Total Scam Company. They pick a name and address and haunt you, sending you magazines you never ordered... I'm sure at some point a bill follows. It's taken several phone calls and emails to try to cancel. Terrible customer service.
I was able to get all the information I needed by Cynthia. Very professional and great at what she does!
I never subscribed to Golf Digest but I was contacted by a friend that said they they received a GolfDigest magazine under my name and using my friends address. Me nor my friend play or have subscribed to any golf related magazines or websites. I contacted Golf Digest and asked them how they got my information and I was told that it was through a 3rd party that subscribed me to the magazine using my name and my friends address. This company that they gave me was Subco. I have never worked with Subco and looking them up I notice they I am not the only one that this same issue has happens to. Leading me to believe they they are using fraudulent means to obtain peoples information. I have never consented to be under any contract or obligation with any sales representatives to get in any contract verbal or written to have them subscribe me to anything. I hope they remove my personal and privet information from any data base they have as well as my friends address that was used. I called them but they never answered...
I received a magazine I did not order
When I first contacted them I was angry but they explained what they did and how it could be resolved
I received an email from Roxanne once they had cancelled the magazine
The magazine would of been free but I didn t want to read it and even free for me somebody is paying
I was much happier once I contacted them the service was excellent. They can solve your orobkem
great customer service- lori was great- helped me out alot
Great service and customer response was very quick and polite.
A couple of months ago I got a cosmopolitan magazine. Something that I never order. So I call cosmopolitan magazine. And talk to Moore. I found out that there is a third party selling my information to open accounts on my wife name. I don't understand that you're company defraud people out of there money and it's o right with your company to do that the last time I checked that was against the law. So I'm going to file a complaint with consumer affairs .and then after I will contact district attorney in LA..
Started receiving Car and Driver magazine a few months ago that I didn't order. Thought it was some kind of mistake so after receiving a few issues I gave them a call. Car and Driver informed me this subscription was coming from some third party agent called Subco. Figured it was some kind of scam so I called Subco and it turns out it was included in a online purchase I made a while back (be careful what you click...). The lady at Subco told me I wasn't being charged and that the only way I would be is if I willingly renewed the subscription. I still asked her to cancel the magazine for me and she did, she also put my address on the do not mail list. Despite the time I spent on hold, everything went smoothly with the rep who was easy to deal with and had a good attitude about the whole situation.
I ordered a magazine subscription from them and had no problems. When I needed to cancel, it was easy to email them for one. Very quick response!
The representative Cassie provided me with all my answers and assured me that I would not be charged for the subscription my husband was receiving. He gave me details which I appreciated. I had been concerned because i had read some uncomplimentary reviews on Subco, but I can say that I found that they were very professional and very helpful.
I was receiving issues of Cosmopolitan magazine. I must have signed up for something and it was an included free subscription. I had no desire to read Cosmo. Contacted Subco and Ariel was very prompt and courteous at getting the subscription cancelled!
Had a problem with a magazine I received and had no idea where it came from. Subco, after much effort, found out for me and was able to get it cancelled. Excellent customer service and thanks to Elizabeth for taking the time to resolve the issue!
I accidentally subscribed to the wrong magazine and withing hours of emailing them, they took care of it and stopped the deliveries. Good, quick service !
They were quick in responding and resolving my issue. Efficient customer service indeed!
Brie from Subco contacted me very quickly to resolve my issue in a timely manner. When I placed an order through one company, I forgot to opt out of the free magazine subscription, so I kept receiving magazines I did not wish to have. Brie was friendly and quick to help :)
I had a problem with a magazine and they took care of it in a prompt and courteous manner.
Subco responded to my email quickly and answered my concerns.
I'm very pleased with the timely response to my request.
Thanks to Angela for this response.
My husband started receiving magazines in the mail that someone else signed him up for, I tried calling this company to cancel but no one ever picks up!!
HUGE scam! I started receiving Sports Illustrated magazines, called them directly and was told my membership was started by Subco Inc and I needed to call them to cancel. Terrible business by both companies.
I, too, started to receive three magazines that I never ordered. How does this happen. What a scam!
My experience is very similar to that of a number of others listed on this page : I was receiving unsolicited magazines (People).
I wrote to SubCo who against all odds, responded promptly.
They provided great detail regarding the whole process and the origin of this unwanted subscription.
As per my wish, Brie took care of the cancellation, and she did so very nicely and efficiently.
Excellent service and they got it right the first time I asked. Will be doing future business with them!
I was helped out by Elizabeth from this company. I told Elizabeth I was receiving Marie Claire magazines that I didn't subscribe to and was afraid I was going to get billed for them. Elizabeth told me that this was a ploy done by Millennium Marketing Solutions on my behalf in hopes I would enjoy them. Additionally, there is a Seventeen Magazine coming up as well.
Elizabeth also informed me that I will not be billed and once they stop, they will not renew. Millennium Marketing Solutions is doing this because they hope I will renew the subscription, but jokes on them I was never interested in the first place. If I was, I'd be already subscribed. Thank you Elizabeth for your great customer service! I greatly appreciate easing my worries.
When I contacted subco Cynthia helped me in a quick and easy manner she was really nice and explained everything well, Thank you cynthia!
Brie helped get my subscription canceled immediately. Thanks
Brie was AWESOME!! She responded immediately and took care of the problem. Thank you for your professionalism!
Excellent customer service with Cassie, who answered my questions and solved my problem professionally and courteously, and followed up to assure my satisfaction. Thank you.
Roxanne was super kind and helpful. She quickly changed my address on my magazine subscription and answered all my questions promptly.
I found out about this company from a third party publisher. The second customer service rep I spoke to was very informative. So I want to say great job done by customer service rep Veronica (450).
