I came in with really long, thick hair that was in major need of some help. I had a picture of what I was thinking I wanted and Morgan did SO well matching that! I highly recommend her!

I love studio 285 Jordon does an amazing job on my hair. My hair always turns out better than I imagined!

A year ago I made an appointment with Dalton. I was SO excited to finally have my hair done and extensions as well. That was the only thing I talked about until the day came. When i arrived at the salon that day, i showed him pictures of dark hair with caramel highlights. When I left the salon, I had bleach blonde highlights on the top of my head (keep in mind that my hair is dark brown). The extensions were a dirty blonde, almost brown and there was barely even any hair put into my head. Needless to say, my hair looked HORRIBLE and I paid over $600 for it. Oh, and not to mention, Dalton never responded when I tried to get in touch with him after i left that day. I had to deal with that for the past year until I finally got my hair done from a traveling stylist not too long ago and I didn t even pay half of the price I payed at studio 285. I was and still am VERY disappointed with my experience with this salon.

I always love time spent with Brittany. She is attentive and caring. She is knowledgeable and always knows exactly what I want! I have been going to her for years and I m always satisfied with my hair! She is the best of the best!

Whitney Harrington is the absolute best at what she does! My first experience with her was great! I had a formal event that I was going to attend and I had originally booked a hair appointment somewhere else. Two days before my event, that salon canceled on me. I was devastated and worried I would not be able to find another salon to color, cut, and do an updo on my hair in that short amount of time. And to make matters worse I was new to the area and did not really know a lot of people. Luckily, i have a friend at my gym that told me about Whitney and Studio 285 and how great her experiences have been. I call Whitney on a Thursday and she fit me in that very day late in the afternoon since I work. She also helped me schedule an updo on that following Saturday and a professional makeup session too! She was absolutely wonderful and understanding and patient with me. She took the time and understood my dilemma and for that I will always be thankful. Studio 285 and Whitney Harrington are the best and I would tell everyone in the CSRA and the entire state of Georgia to check them out...they deliver in all areas and you walk out feeling beautiful! Thank you so much Whitney...you ARE the BEST!!!

I went and saw Whitney at Studio 285 and she was amazing!!!! She fixed my hair from being so brassy, to a beautiful ash blonde. I didn't know it was even possible but she did it. I would highly recommend her for your color and cut. I will be returning for sure!

My first time at Studio 285 and it was amazing. Not only is the studio gorgeous but everyone is extremely friendly. I chose Becca as my stylist after reading her profile and feeling confident she could create the look I wanted. My time with her at the studio was great! She is so easy to talk to and she listened to everything I wanted to do with my hair!! I left feeling so great and ready to attend my baby shower and shoot my maternity pics!!! Found this AMAZING salon after a great deal of research - having visited many salons in Europe and the United States, I would rate this salon above them all. The place is vibrant, energetic and staffed by talented and committed professionals. Brittany was so welcoming and her guidance on how to transition my hair from brunette to the ever increasing grey was superb. I am so happy with how my hair looks but more than that, it was an inspiring experience from beginning to end. I would recommend Studio 285 to anyone who is seeking the highest quality styling with a sprinkling of chic magic!

Studio 285 is a great place to get your beauty on. I just recently moved from out of town, and we all know how hard it is to find the right person to do your hair. The stylist Whitney colored my hair and took my mid length dark brown hair, to a natural ash blonde. Not only is she super comfortable to be around, She did such an AMAZING job at a great price considering what all had to be done. She is a real life saver to a new girl in a new town.

Whitney is amazing! She knows her stuff and does amazing work. Prices are great too! The new salon is gorgeous! Ive been coming back since we moved here from FL. I won't trust anyone else with my hair! Ive had Whitney do my hair color about 5 times now and I have never wanted to change a thing about it. She is a super sweet and the time flies by!

I made an appointment at Studio 285 in Augusta for a shampoo, cut, and balayage on a Friday morning before my wedding rehearsal and wedding the next day, Saturday. I had originally booked with the new talent because the cost was less and the stylist had amazing reviews. However, a week before the appointment I was notified that the stylist I booked with was not available but they did have a stylist available at the same time that was a level above new talent. I gladly accepted, while at the same time confirming that I had an appointment time of 9-12 for shampoo, cut, and balayage. The lady on the phone said I would be finished at 11:45 likely. This was perfect because I had to be in Savannah for wedding activities that afternoon.
When I arrived for my appointment, the stylist was a little late and only had be back in the chair by 9:15. She was very nice and the studio was beautiful. However, she had me written down for color foils and by the time she started I just let her finish rather than correcting her.
Around 11 AM she had still not shampooed my hair yet and I reminded her of my timeline and that I had to leave at 12. She quickly shampooed and toned my hair (which really burned and come to find out damaged my hair).
It came to be 12 and she was still blow drying the hair and had not yet cut it. I started to panic and told her I had to absolutely leave no later than 12:30 PM to make it to Savannah on time.
Her assistant came to run my card for payment while she finished. She was not able to cut or style my hair and the ends were so damaged and brittle and would break like wet spaghetti. The cost of this was $185 with 20% tip going up to $222.
I was so upset. I have never been so upset in so many years. I was hysterically crying in the car about how bad my hair looked and I had to go home and style it myself for my own wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner!!! The hair was and still is so so damaged and she cut so much of the length off that I was worried about the bridal updo the next day as well! I ended up being about 15 minutes late to the wedding rehearsal and had to speed the whole way to Savannah. I was pulled over by a trooper in one of the small towns where the speed limit drops, but was still crying and so upset and even told him what happened; the police officer felt so bad, he let me go with a warning!!!
The stylist did offer to let me come back and have my hair cut and styled at no extra charge since she couldn t finish but I would rather never go there again! I am always cautious about booking services in Augusta because it is a town that lacks in basic knowledge and talent, but I thought this Studio would be better since they have a location in Atlanta as well, but I was very very mistaken!

Lexi (Alexis) is amazing. my only regret is not sitting in her chair years ago! She saved my hair and even for a correction (my first visit), gave me the exact results I have always wanted! If you want to feel and look like a million bucks and get supermodel hair reults and basically restore your dignity, go to her! You will never look back. Totally talented, down to earth, results driven artist who represents her trade and the beautiful salon she works for well.

I recently got my hair done there. I used Nina Kitchens and i was very very impressed with my hair! Love the salon!. I will be a repeat client!

Today when I called to make an appointment the girl at the front desk hung the phone up on me before I could finish talking. Immediately after I called back and asked for the price of an eyebrow waxing she quoted me $12. After I got my eyebrows waxed the same women told me that the price was more expensive and charged me the increased price. I was overall extremely disappointed in how rude the 5 girls working the front desk were. I will not be going back.

I have been going to Studio 285 for at least 8 years now. Not only was Brittany my hairstylist, she was someone I considered my friend. I am a huge Boho Britt fan. She is kind, family is her top priority, and she is very talented. Things have slowly started to change over the past year or two as she has been flying to New York, LA, and Miami, and has now opened a salon in Atlanta doing hair for high profile clients and celebrities. It is harder to get an appointment and she has become less and less hands on, with many assistants doing most of the work. I still continue to make appointments because I like Brittany as a person and a hairstylist. However, my heart was completely broken a couple of weekends ago when I walked into her salon in Atlanta and was told that she had gone to New York and she sent someone else to Atlanta to do my hair. This was not just a routine cut and color mind you. Brittany had told me months prior SHE would plan on being in Atlanta to do my hair for my 30th year class reunion. When I walked into the Atlanta location on the day of my reunion, everyone acted like they had no idea that I didn t know and that someone should have told me that she wasn t going to be there. I had even texted Brittany the Tuesday before just checking in to make sure we were still on for Atlanta with no response (which Dalton confirmed was still her work cellphone). I received a text from the salon the day after I sent the text, confirming my appt and to bring cash as the card machine was down so I just assumed she got busy and couldn t respond. How could someone I have trusted for so long do something like this to me on such a special day (4 hours before my reunion). Also, her prices in Atlanta are A LOT more when I could have just had my hair done in Augusta if I knew she was going cancel me and go to New York to do one of her high profile clients instead (the reason I know this is because I saw it posted on Facebook). I was told by Dalton that Amber, her sister/salon manager, or someone would be contacting me. As of yet, almost three weeks later, I have heard nothing. Obviously, my continued business is not important. I have learned that many stylists, including her own sister-in-law and close friends, have recently left the salon. That speaks volumes. I usually don t write things up like this because I am not someone to publicly try to talk bad about people but it has completely crushed me that Brittany would ever do anything like this. There is a quote that was on her work station before she moved into her new building. Money is numbers and numbers never end. If it takes money to be happy, your search for happiness will never end. Don t forget your hometown people that helped get you to where you are today.

I really like studio 285 :) My stylist has been Hope Gleaton. She is friendly, honest, humble and has been doing an absolutely fabulous job on my hair. With little to no effort on my part, I'm having good hair days regularly. At first I thought color was her specialty because she is very good at that but the cut she gave me last time has me thinking about Hope almost everyday! My favorite thing is that she takes a moment to look at me as a person before she starts rather than just making me feel like she is just slapping on a common style and working on a head sticking out of a cape. I appreciate her care and attention to detail. I'm really looking forward to going back! Why else should you ask for Hope? Because she seems to have a hunger for improvement and in any field, that's an advantageous find!

My mom and I came to this salon a while back on a Saturday to get our hair and makeup done for my wedding. It was a small wedding so no bridesmaids, just us. My makeup looked okay for any other day but definitely not bridal, and I later fixed it myself. My hair wasn t properly pinned up apparently, because it was falling out in multiple places by the time I went back to put my dress on. My mom also didn t love her hair or makeup. Not a horrible experience, but also not what you would expect for people doing hair and makeup for a wedding. Kind of felt like it was not super important to them to do a good job. Like I said, this was a while back but I recently looked through my wedding photos and it made me wish I had gone somewhere else. I don t know if it would have been more important to them to do a good job if they were making more money with a large bridal party but either way, it was a mediocre job at best.

Love this salon and the atmosphere. I always enjoy my appiontments with Whitney. She always knows exactly what I need, and executes it well!

A couple of months ago my best friend hired a hair stylist and makeup artist from this salon for her wedding and everyone was disappointed in the hair and makeup. For one, nobody's hair stayed curled!! My hair is naturally curly and holds curls very well, but for some reason when the girl did it, literally an hour later the curls had fallen out. Two, the makeup artist used the same foundation for everyone and used a powder that when the photographer used flash on her camera, it flashed back. Any professional makeup artist should know not to use a powder that does flash back for a WEDDING!! Another thing about the makeup, there was no contour, she used bronzer for contour. Any makeup artist should know not to use that as a contour. Also, she didn't do any lip makeup!! Glad that I at least brought my lip gloss with me. And my fake eyelashes fell off right before the ceremony. I'm very angry that I paid for something that turned out to be so disappointing. I could have done my own hair and makeup much better than that, but unfortunately I didn't bring my makeup with me because I had expected it to be done by a "professional".

Jordon listen to what I wanted, and found the perfect style and color for me. She was wonderful and made what is usually a stressful situation easy.

Went in for a typical highlight and cut and came out with Orange streaks and the worst hair cut I have ever gotten. It's not remotely close to even and cute. I just wanted a natural highlight and April, the stylist, decided to do biolge (not sure if that is correctly spelled). Well not only did the coloring turn out orange there are many places that have like leopard spots and/or missing color. I feel like I am a high school student who tried to do my own hair. Wish it would have went better bc I really enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe.

I always look forward to my hair appointments with Jordon. I know when I sit in her chair that I m in good hands and my hair is going to look amazing when I leave! Today I had two rows of weft extensions and two packs of fusion extensions removed, my roots smudged, a color done to brighten up my naturally blonde hair, and A cut. The outcome is fun and sporty and we were both giddy with excitement with how it turned out. Thanks @jordy_withthe_goodhands

Brittany/ Bohobritt has done my hair for 12 years. She is fabulous and I am so thankful for everything she does. She definitely takes care of her clients and is always available to help with any of my beauty needs. Lover her, her staff and Studio 285!!!!

Worst appointment I have ever had. Katie needed to move the appointment I had made back a half an hour but did not take the necessary steps to let me know this. I showed up at my scheduled time and could hear her across the salon complaining to the receptionist about me. The receptionist came back and told me that she could take me a half an hour later. Even when I came back a half an hour later, I still had to wait for another 20 minutes for her to be ready for me. She was incredibly rude during the appointment; didn't wait to warm the water up before washing my hair, got water down my back soaking my shirt, told me I would regret cutting my hair shorter. When I got home after the appointment there were so many spots that she missed which I had to cut myself to fix. I would NEVER go back to her. Absolutely not worth the $40 I had to pay. Her prices are going up to $50 next month... don't waste your time or money. The salon itself was very nice and my sister goes to another of their hairstylists and loves her. I just wouldn't recommend Katie.

Studio 285 is the best Salon around. It s a beautiful relaxing oasis with friendly staff. Very knowledgeable and educated on the latest trends and styles. I was desperate for a good look and came all the way from Texas just for Brittany to do my hair.

Not to even MENTION the level of perfection and expertise that is going into my color, extensions, and style... should I mention the neck massage when I got my hair washed....?

Not only was there a night and day difference in my hair before i walked in, there was a difference in my confidence too! I ve been using cheap box color for years. My hair was so broken and frizzy and very long. Taylor colored my hair back to its natural color with silver highlights to better match my hair as it grows. She also cut and styled my hair to a more modern look. Thank you Taylor. Amazing.

Hi my name is Mary I went to the Augusta location studio 285 the past two Friday s everyone was really nice but now I m hearing they only want hi lights an extensions now what kind of hair salon does not wanna do a blow dry an style if you re a stylist you re main priority should be making the customer happy!!! It s not really a salon if you can t just come n for a blow dry an style they shouldn t have that service on their list

I absolutely love coming to studio 285. Whitney is my stylist and she is able to get my hair the right shade of blonde. I currently drive 6 hrs from Tennessee to come see her. It s well worth it. I found her on Instagram about a year ago ( Instagram name blondehairstylist) and she always out does herself. I ve been trying to get my hair icy blonde ever since I can remember and other stylist turn me orange and damage my hair.My first session with her she got my hair exactly what I ve been wanting. She is talented and sweet. I wasn t going to be able to come in for awhile so she opened up her schedule and worked me in and did my hair 2 days before her wedding. Selfless character! The salon is beautiful, from the moment you walk you feel like you re at a resort.

I recently called to make an appointment with one of the Studios Employees, I requested a stylist that no longer worked there without knowledge they had recently just quit the salon. The employees at Studio 285, proceeded to say that the stylist was out of town at Church Camp when the stylist had actually quit and moved to another salon.

This was the best experience I have ever had getting my hair done!!! So before I decided to come here I went to Sallys beauty supply to pick up stuff to do my hair. The workers there "helped me" pick out the stuff and told me how to use it. (I was trying to dye it light brown) You should know my hair was previously black box dyed (I had done a color remover which helped lighten it a little before I tried to dye it). So after I used the sally stuff my hair turned out HORRIBLE!!!! Half my roots were a strawberry blond and the other half a real ugly yellow blond well the rest of my hair was dark dark brown, and I had "Cheetah print" hair in the back meaning I had globs of blond all randomly placed were my hair decided to except it. When I went to this salon Tiffany was my dresser, not only was she so sweet, kind, and did an amazing job I felt so comfortable the whole time. She fixed my hair better then I could ever imagine!!!! It looks better now then it did on my wedding day! I absolutely love it And it only took about 2 and 1/2 hours and thay is with a double color and a hair cut. I love the way it turned out! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone! There facility is so nice to, comfy chairs, nice waiting room, good product, and when u are under the dryer they have t.v. for u to watch. Not to mention Tiffany was very well knowledgeable and gave great advice and knew what she was doing.

The space is beautiful, the staff is friendly and efficient. All staff were wearing masks and cleaning stations. Very please with the experience and the haircuts for my boys!

I found Whitney on instagram (blondehairstylist) and thought her work was phenomenal. I have been searching for years for someone to get my blonde the right shade. I have never been so pleased with my hair. I live about 3 hrs away and thats not even a problem, I will follow whitney where ever she goes. If your looking for a place to get your hair done studio285 is it. It is truly something spectacular

Had an awful experience at studio 285 , I went to a different to a different hair stylist at a different salon, to have my extensions moved up and they were matted and placed wrong .... I don t recommend going there ...

I had clip in extension damage on my scalp, and Whitney Harrington has helped me get my hair healthy again! She gave me tape in extensions and my hair is now growing and I feel like a million bucks. She also is willing to travel - my mother cannot leave her house because she watches my brother who has special needs. Whitney drove to her house and did her highlights as well as mine/ extensions. So thankful for her willingness to go the extra mile for her clients.

I came to Augusta to get my hair done by this salon that I had heard excellent things about, but upon arrival the employees were dressed in revealing clothing and the music was entirely inappropriate. I was appalled that they would play such graphic and explicit music while there were clients and young CHILDREN present. Then after all of this, I had to wait for someone to finally return to the front desk so that I could pay and leave. Overall the employees were very unprofessional in dress and conduct, so I will not be returning to this salon again. I am extremely disappointed as I love my hair, but I will not go back to Studio285 again.

Absolutely excellent!Wow! How much would you pay to have a hairdresser who knows what you want when you vaguely know yourself? Exceptional service, beautiful surroundings and outstanding professional technique and execution are exactly what I got- a perfect color and cut that made me feel and ( dare I say?!) look 10 years younger. Megan O. is a consummate professional, personable and all around hair super hero. The front desk staff was so kind and wonderful too. I think this chronic salon jumper has finally found a home and hair expert to stick with.

Whitney and I met a few years when she started doing my hair. She was the ONLY one who could get my hair blonde, with me being naturally redhead. She had done amazing work. This past year I made the mistake of going to a salon that a friend worked at. I got what I thought was extensions. The girl that did them cut a wig and glued the pieces to my hair along with surgical tape. I got them in November and I had Whitney take them out in February. It took Whitney and another stylist and two hours to finally get them out without damaging my hair. I was mortified but not once did she ever make me feel embarrassed about it. She showed so much sympathy and she made sure I walked out of there looking like a model and feeling confident about the work she did. She is far more than just a hair stylist.
