This place is exactly what you want in a breakfast joint. I'm not giving 5 stars because it's the best breakfast in town, but rather it's great comfort food and I feel like places like this are getting harder to find.

Its rough around the edges, but in all the right ways. I've never been disappointed when coming here for breakfast.

Not quite sure about the story behind the Italian ...

Not quite sure about the story behind the Italian chef statue outside but the food was Americana diner all the way.

We stopped in for breakfast and my daughter had the German sausage omelette and I had the chicken fried steak and eggs, neither disappointed. Scottie had to take home half her breakfast because there was so much, I on the other hand devoured the two plates of food they brought me. Only criticism would be that the country gravy tasted more like Alfredo Sauce???? Kinda weird and we couldn't figure why but thought it might be the lack of sausage to flavor it...anyway.

As others have mentioned, the coffee is a step up from the standard burnt tasting diner fare we usually get - although a far throw from local or handcrafted. Plenty of seating available and we sat in the front where the sun came in through the window so the temperature was pleasant. The waitstaff was friendly and on top of our needs, while the bill was right in the ballpark and reasonable for what we got - $30 for two meals and drinks.

We plan on going back in about a month to make sure our visit wasn't an anomaly, but we're looking forward to having a new regular spot!

I ordered the bacon cheese burger and fries this time my sis and mom had biscuits and gravy. My sis came back for seconds they were so good. My burger was perfection. The fries crunchy on the outside sift on the inside and piping hot.

Barb is a great server, friendly and efficient. The links were some of the best I have had. Hash browns crispy on both sides. Eggs perfect to order. I'd me I find myself in Lynnwood again I will stop by.

Breakfast is great and actually all fresh made per order. Good prices, quality bacon and the coffee is fresh ground instead pre ground like most small cafes. No wifi though, so be prepared to actually socialize with your party.

One of the last few good home-made breakfast and lunch places. Open only from 7:00 to 3:00 p.m., no dinners. This place gets packed on the weekends, and you'll have to wait during cold days and especially when the power goes out in other places. Nothing fancy here, just gobs of comfort food that never goes out of style: hash browns, pancakes, eggs, omelettes, grilled sandwiches, egg scrambles, French toast, bacon, sausage, ham, etc. Don't come here for a salad or soup. Spacious dining room and great waitresses. Recommended is the hog omelette: ham, bacon and sausage with crispy hashbrowns. Stricker's uses Daly's center-cut thick bacon, which is awesome. Even the cheeseburger is excellent. Room enough to handle parties of 30 if you call ahead.

It's ok. From the reviews, the locals really seem to love it. I felt like I wasn't in the club. Very poor service. Took forever for a 2nd refill on my coffee and it was because I flagged someone down. Was tempted to get it myself but didn't want to get in trouble. Keep a cup of coffee full and good reviews will follow. That or just use huge coffee mugs, problem solved. Food and cost average. Can't think of a reason to return or recommend.

I've been here three times. Pancakes are always large, but gummy in texture and flavor. Service was friendly, but if I'm going out for breakfast, more than decent food is what I'm looking for - not conversation. If you can't get pancakes right, something is very wrong.

Rating this one star because there's an inordinate amount of high ratings for this place.

How does this place have such amazing reviews? It's honestly a marvel.
There needs to be more wait staff here. Things that should be standard like clean tables/chairs and silverware arent what you'll find at this place and I dont believe it's their fault, they dont have the time on a busy day with such limited staff! The food was odd, very fatty and tasteless. The juice is watered down which I guess should be expected. I give two stars for the 4 star waitresses. The rest is for the birds. I wont be coming back.

The downhome cooking and friendly atmosphere was great. It was kind of odd that they didn't have a hostess with how crowded the place was for breakfast? There where 3 or 4 groups all looking at each other trying to determine who was there first.

My dad owned this restaurant about 13 years ago. He started it in early 2000s. Great place to come and eat with the family. It's a little pricey for a 5 egg omelet. My wife and I split the Greek omelet but it was nothing like my dad used to make me. Overall family enjoyed it abd we'r had a great time reminiscing. They do give you a lot of food though almost too much. Thanks for the Good times Stricker cafe.

Hey if this info helped you in any way please like for me. God Bless!

Very very very clean place. We even made a note that their light fixtures didn't even have dust on them. The restaurant is set up as a very classic mom and pop place (kitchen is exposed along with all the soda machines and coffee makers). The server was very prompt and attentive, even though she was quite busy. Food was phenomenal. One could definitely tell there was love put into this place. Worth the 5 star review!

Stricker's has been one of our regular go-to breakfast places, mostly because they have an awesome chicken fried steak. It's delicious. Servers have always been incredibly friendly and courteous. It's a little bit off the beaten path but worth checking out.

Arrived before 8AM, walked in and sat myself at one of the many different table options in the main large dining area. Order the Basic Country Breakfast and it was fantastic! Tasty gravy on top of a layer of scrambled eggs over super soft biscuits. Comes with hash browns and choice of meat (I ordered bacon). Attentive staff, my coffee was regularly examined and refilled. Classic diner breakfast feel.
