Getting ready to start with the company I m extremely energetic ,excited & striving for excellence
I got hired worked 2 days and was told the system is moving people to a new project instead of continuing where I was i pretty much got laid off and still haven't herd anything yet. The people I worked with were good people but there system is not professional or reliable.
Horrible company, unorganized, and unprofessional. I went to work for Pro Vantage Solutions in a warehouse for a local Walmart renovation. I m 18 years old and am a hard worker, but all hard workers need breaks. On Monday January 20th I worked a total of 8 hours with zero breaks until 3:52pm. Where I then had an 8 min break before I clocked off. The entire day I was told I needed to hurry up (I was working very hard as well). The Walmart guy that was in charge of it all showed no remorse for how hard he worked us. There were many factors that came into play when it came down to why we were rushed, but none of them were my fault nor any of the other employees faults. When I woke up the next morning I was so sore I could barely get out of bed (keep in mind I m 18, a male 5 11 150lbs so I m in no way out of shape). I gave myself some time to think and decided I wasn t going to show up to work that day. I emailed one of the hr ladies who hired me and let them know why I wouldn t be coming back to work and let them know the conditions of the work and that I left this email to hopefully make it easier on the employees that planned to stay there and work. I m still contemplating on reporting this to the Labor Board, I would definitely like to speak to someone higher up in Pro Vantage if possible. Things like this need to be done otherwise Pro Vantage Solutions will keep overworking and underpaying. Please Pro Vantage, anyone higher up, if you plan on making impossible deadlines for certain tasks. Then hire more workers, not overwork the 5 employees you already have.
This is a great company to work for. They treat their people well and they have good company values. Plenty of opportunity to move up if you work hard, show up on time, and do a good job.
I started work for Pro V earlier this week, and immediately understood why it's so poorly reviewed. The fact that I was approved for the job over the phone with no prior training should have been a huge red flag, but I'm desperate for decent pay. But that comes at the price of high demand for overtime and pulling the slack of understaffed shifts. Poor communication and sub par leadership are the clear cause of their turnover rate. And when this contract is done, I'm done, if I don't leave sooner.
Had music with a lot of profanity playing loudly in a store they were working in. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!
They lie to people they get them hyped up for a job and give it to the next person with more experience saying you need more experience. I told one recruiter how can i get more experience if you don't hire me to get any experience. We don't want to set you up for failure. Screw this job
Worked for them while I was in barber school, helping a Container Store unload trucks and merchandise. Job was okay but I don't know if I got fired or what. I had picked up some hours at my other job (which they knew about) because we were extremely busy that week, so I told them in the app why I couldn't pick up the extra shifts that were given. The next week I was off of the schedule completely and never heard anything again. It was very odd. Also, I was made temporary lead for a week because the lead was out of town. I was told I'd get a raise but never received it when my check came around. It was only supposed to be 0.50 per hour, shortly after that is when I guess I was "let go". I didn't feel the extra pay was sufficient enough to complain about not getting.
Alexis Tyler a recruiter called me for a job, but would not answer my call even after I left several messages for her. A lot of these recruiters don't take into consideration that if you apply for a position it's because you need a job.
A Great Company, Genuine Caring Executives
I worked for them for almost 3 years. For the last year, I was the head of the IT Department. It is a small privately owned and financially sound company. Upper management have known each other for a very long time. The work can be intense at times. Expectations are high - they expect employees to work to their full potential. Executive management cares deeply about treating all employees with dignity and respect. That respect includes the expectation that employees can do quality work and succeed. Bring a good ethic and attitude, and they will treat you well.
They don t pay what they are supposed to. Majority and I mean majority (I witnessed myself) of the leads are on drugs. ProVantage do not drug test because if they did ALOT of the leads would be fired! I know they will remove my review but I will keep posting it.
It NOT a good company, cause they forfeit my mileage and drive time to my first job which it WASN'T right since I drove from Texas to South Carolina for nothing. And plus getting paid FOR LESS when I have more experience than the others but they make more which it WASN'T right too cause they coming to me asking how to do thing's. Actually 1 star is too high, I wish they have negative stars. New updates, if you DON'T kiss butt, this company is NOT for you
A great business and fabulous customer. Their signs don't look half bad either!
