Went on a crowded Sunday morning with my brother and his family who were visiting for the holiday. First time for all of us. Great food and excellent, speedy, friendly service. Had the Hog Wild omelette. Delicious! Will definitely go back for more!

All the food that I've had here has been excellently made and we'll put together for presentation. The staff are all very nice and enjoyable people. Been here quite a few times, never been dissapointed
Surprisingly wonderful! I've lived in this area all my life and have never heard of this hidden gem (thank you Google for finding it for me). Service was friendly and efficient. My coffee cup was always warm and full. The Eggs Benedict were fantastic, but the red potato home fries were even better. The little bits of grilled onion took the meal to the next level. Definitely coming back!
You'll wait in line for a table but you won't regret doing so. In the mean time you can look over the Betty Boop paraphernalia or drool over the plates rushing past you at a blur.
Biscuits and gravy were fairly mediocre. Biscuit was dense and cakey. Gravy...served cold, today. But something was off that I didn't enjoy. Even if it was hot.
Red potato home fries I did enjoy. Eggs and pancake were standard breakfast fare. If you got eggs, bacon, and toast, there wouldn't be anything better or worse that any place else.
Location itself is pretty non intimidating. Seems to attract an older retiree, coffee and newspaper clientele.
Would I travel here again? No. The Grange in duvall or Maltby Cafe offer a superior breakfast.
Perfect short order breakfast, old school. This is the only place my dad could find in MLT/Lynnwood that served chili cheese omelets, so we've been here quite a few times; always exactly what I'm looking for in a breakfast. Straight-forward pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Yum!
Upon entering the restaurant there was an unpleasant odor. The place was quiet with only a few people. We found a clean table right away and were greeted quickly by a server. She was polite and pleasant. The food was very good and the More
The best food ever. Reminds me of places my grandparents took me to. This place has some history. Go for the food and you won't be disappointed. Note the hours they close early. They have a variety. My favorite is the breakfast served all day.
It's a little crazy in here. It was my first time and it's easy to see most of the people are regulars. When you come in get in line and watch the tables. As soon as someone gets up, you sit down. A waitress will be by shortly to clear off the table and supply some menu's. The wait staff all seem very experienced and friendly. They give the cafe a smooth flow amist the busy in and out of patrons. The food was delicious, I enjoyed the coffee as well. I left understanding why there are so many people who enjoy this place. I look forward to visiting again.
While not much to look at on the outside, or the inside for that matter, you'd be surprised at how many people are packed into this place. This is by no means a bad thing - it's usually by this metric that you can determine if your going to get some good food or not. I can't speak for how good the entire menu is but there breakfast was good - although I find it pretty difficult to screw up eggs and toast. The waitress seated me quickly and service was excellent! Refills of coffee and water came without needing request, and my waitress made an effort to ask me how my meal was and if I needed anything else from time to time (all with a smile). I always hate having to run down my waiter/waitress anytime I need something - and I can happily say this was never the case here! Top notch!
Food was cold, unseasoned, they forgot my strawberries, my husband's sausage and my father's meal completely. Not worth the 40.00 spent, would not go here again.
This has got to be in my top 5 places for the worst cafe ever! They have 1 vegatarin option, it's too small, and is dirty. All in all very disappointed!
I chose this place because of the high rating and I was very disappointed. The food was very fatty and tasteless and my daughter's pancake was raw inside. Making pancakes should be the most basic thing for a restaurant. There's other reviewers that pointed out the same issues as I have here. I don't understand why this place got good ratings. Will not be coming back.
We live north of Lynnwood but travel to Strickers for french toast Fridays and to see our favorite server, Candy. She is so lovely. I also love the diner food. No frills, just solid, tasty food. Their pancakes are good too! I usually get their sandwiches, but their breakfast selection is also delicious. Its worth the trip.
It was FANTASTIC again!!! It's been almost 4 years!! Great service and the food is AMAZING!!! Kudos to the chef on his totally nailing the perfect cookery of my extra crispy bacon!!!
This place has really gone down hill in the last 2 years. The servers are nasty, the food is often not cooked well. Today I had rancid hash browns severed. When the server came over, eventually, to refill coffee, I told her, and she just shrugged and walked off. I had to tell her she was taking something off the check for that. Again, she just shrugged.
I wish I could give zero stars. Last week when I was in, a UPS driver was making deliveries, he happened to have a man bun and the waitress engaged in guessing the man s gender and making extraordinary distasteful comments with two of the patrons. This place is not LGBT friendly.
Aside from my last experience, and I do mean last experience. The food is mediocre, and varies in quality on each visit. They pass off room-temp, shaved potatos as hasbrowns. And about half the time, I have to send my order back due to massive mistakes.
This place could also use a makeover, both in their menu, staff and atmosphere. The place still has the wood grain paneling from when it was the Sandwhich Aisle in the early 90 s.
They were open and not very busy, but the service was still bad. The food was only edible. The cooks were funny and the Asian lady who took the time to get my wife tea while the waitress was on her phone is the reason I took the time to review. I have never not tipped before. I'll never go back .
The burnt buger was painfully over cooked, so was the bacon served on a moldy bun. No kiding, the buns were moldy. We sent both back and all they did was move the meet to a different bun. At least the cook apologized when delivering the new "horible burger" . The waitress acted like we suddenly had the plague. Way to go! I must say the breakfast that they were punping out looked amazing. To bad we order burgers.
Food was decent but the server seemed annoyed that we were there, even though my kids were being (surprisingly) well-behaved. Also, no changing table in the bathroom. So, if you're going without kids, it's probably fine!
It's our favorite place to eat for breakfast food. If you are looking for a while in the wall mom and pop place and not eat disgusting chain restaurant food.. then come here! They have great prices and big portions... My man can't even finish his food here.
Food is good, service is friendly, and prices cheap-ish. Very casual, out of the way greasy-spoon that really isn't so greasy. Parking is plentiful, but the place is popular on weekends and holidays.
Our first time at strikers was so good! Delicious cinnamon roll French toast and hogwild omelet! Service s nice and quick despite a near-full dining room.
Great food for good prices, but the wait times in the mornings can be very long, which is partly due to slow service as there are often times not enough servers to keep up with the crowds.
This is a great place for breakfast. Nothing fancy but good service and good food at a reasonable price. They serve lunch also but have not tried it yet.
Been here a few times. Service has always been very good and the food is the best breakfast fare I've had in Lynnwood. Much better than the chains in the area.
My family and I have been going there for years ! The food and portions have ALWAYS been outstanding in the past. On our last visit there, we were disappointed with our " old and all-time favorite " chicken fried stake. The gravy was super watery! Not thick and delicious like it HAD been so many years after they initially opened ! I'm not sure if they're trying to keep their costs down or what.. disappointed for real !
