Absolutely loved staying here; even with the ongoing construction. Lots to do and just a short trip to Vail Village. Had a great time in the pool and the Belgian Waffle breakfast was delicious. Will absolutely stay here again.

Planned staying here for 3 days for a ski trip, first room was smelling like smoke and looked like it was a 70s theme when that was not what I was looking for, apparently they say this was renovated. Obviously this building wasn t renovated much. After that they let us switch to a new room, much better. We wanted to change rooms. 5 minutes later, we get a call saying we are getting charged, if we leave, and customer service is horrible. Also, no laundry machine. EDIT: This was our 2nd time staying, it was the Evergreen building that we were not having a great time in. Besides that this hotel is great. But I am giving a 1 star for this specific building, the Evergreen building.

I was disappointed to see several employees not wear a mask.
1) one of shuttle drivers had his mask around the ears and below his mouth( there is a pexi glass barrier). No reinforcement of mask policy on the bus either ( several people getting on the bus with no mask, drinking water from the bottle the whole duration of a bus ride)
2) the lady cleaning room next to ours had no mask- you can have your unit spotless, but if people cleaning it are not wearing masks....I would expect more from Marriott!
3) maintenance guys leaving elevator- no mask
A couple other occasions ( a person pushing a laundry cart).
Was hoping for more compliance.
With that said, in more public places masks are worn by employees.

Vail always stands as my favorite destination, yet this Mariott location somehow manged to turn this trip into my worst experience. We arrived around 1:20 am and the check-in process was very tiring & the person at the front desk (Aren) was not at all helpful. When she finally checked us in, it was almost 2 am. she had absolutely no clue where the villa s are and does not even know how they are numbered. After searching for the room in freezing cold, when we finally called the front desk , she answers back saying she usually doesn t work here and cannot help us. Also, there is Not enough parking available on-site. Ended up parking in a handicap spot as per her instructions again. Would not recommend this place if you are looking forward for a peaceful vacation.

For a place to stay, 5 stars. I mean, it's a Marriott Vacation Club Resort. That's an automatic 5 stars, because they're always excellent. For an MVCI resort, I'd say 4.5 stars because their WiFi was beyond weak, their kids' nights were prohibitively expensive, and they offered no educational speakers or reenactors. Nonetheless, it's an awesome place to stay! Clean, spacious, laundry in room, coffee 24/7 at front desk, cool pool, pool table, game room, trails, playground, gorgeous fitness center, convenient to grocery stores and gas stations.

We booked this place with a timeshare and loved the room! The rooms are clean and large, we had a kitchen, living room, dining room, bedroom, loft and 3 baths. There's a great creek down below. The hot tubs are great and there's an indoor/outdoor pool. A great place for couples, families, or friends. Lots of activities on site and a short drive to downtown vail ski area. A must visit!

Beware, cord cutters. There are no smart tvs. And if you're looking to escape basic cable with commercials, just know that Fire sticks, Chrome casts, etc. are blocked by the resort's firewall. Front desk gave me tech support number. After about 30 mins I was told a network protocol would keep it from working. So no streaming over wifi. Wifi, by the way is also spotty. But you can alway rent one of their dvds from the 90s for $3 a pop.

I was here for a business event, and this was a great hotel. The location was very accessible, and the atmosphere very comfortable. They even had cookies and lemonade in the lobby for a great refreshment.

No secure wifi for guests, paper thin walls, and no ac/temp control through any of the summer months. The beds are stiff and uncomfortable; added with the fact that the rooms are either hot all day and night, or super cold when you use the provided fans, this is not a place I would ever recommend. It's a wonder anyone can sleep here.

My vacation here was great, even in summer. The main downside was the lack of air conditioning and washer/dryer in our room. There were many box fans, but they were quite noisy, as well as not being as effective as an AC unit. The various buildings on the property do vary, but the Douglas building lacked two necessities. The indoor/outdoor pool was quite fun. It went down to 9 feet in the deep section outside. There are also two hot tubs in the pool area. One is inside, the other outside. Just off inside from the pool there is a sauna and steam room next to game room. The game room wasn't the most impressive, but it did have a ping pong table along with a Wii and Xbox. I did enjoy the location, there is a walking/biking trail down to West Vail. The location is not ideal for morning runs as trails are quite far away for trail runs, and and lonely streets are hard to find, not do they to go anywhere. However, if you could manage longer run with the thin air, the city is quite cute.

Rooms are nice and high quality. Service is great. The one bad thing is the hot tubs. To go to one, you have to walk all the way outside in the freezing cold. Every other hotel had spas in every building, but not this one.

The most beautiful property!!! Lots of wildlife and a gorgeous creek with comfortable chairs and a grill. There is a pool and a few hot tubs! The rooms are adorable and spacious. They have free shuttles that can take you into town in about ten minutes. They run every 30 minutes making it very easy to get on go into town for a bit and come back without having to wait for too long. There are also tons of activities near the resort for people of all ages to enjoy from the scenic gondola rides to the amusement parks. One of the best trips I have ever taken

Streamside isn't the most robust Marriott resort, but the room is great, fairly spacious, and the amenities are good. The pool that's allegedly heater to 80 degrees is absolutely freezing, but there are many good options for activities.

Shuttle service was great into Vail for skiing and restaurants. Front desk was very helpful with everything we needed from restaurant recommendations, extra towels, church times, and more. They absolutely made each of us feel very valuable and that it was no problem to assist us. Activities for the kids and adults were fun and amenities kept everyone busy (pool table, ping pong, hot tubs, pool, s'mores, etc.).

Through all the years I have been staying at Marriot this has to be one of worst experiences I have ever had! I am sitting in a hotel with no power typing this and when I asked if I could change hotels and be credited back for this night their response was "we will work with you" REALLY???? I think the answer should be absolutely!!! Just be prepared if you stay here, the place is dated and also very loud from the highway 70. The two good things I can say about this place is the concierge and the room service was great! Other than that I compare these accommodations to a 2 star hotel. You can tell their staff isn't properly trained on company policy but they are very polite. I can say this stay did help me make our decision NOT to be a Marriot Vacation Club owner!!!

Very nice rooms and friendly staff. Our room seemed nicer than the pics on the site like it had been recently renovated. Only complaint would be the pools. They need an area for smaller kids.

My children loved the Minion movie night, ice cream social, pool party, lanyard making, and tie dying activities provided. We couldn't stay away from the ping pong table in the "Cave". It was an overall great family-friendly stay.

People were extremely nice and helpful. JORDAN IS A ROCKSTAR! She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The pool is indoor and outdoor with 2 hot tubs. Pool towels are given to you. The security is good. You need a key to enter the buildings. Parking underground and the spaces are a little tight but still big enough to load and unload. Laundry soap and dishwasher stuff plus salt and pepper is provided. The shower head and pressure is good and the pillows are very comfortable. We were really close to everything a Safeway store, McDonald's, gas station, donut shop and places to eat are less than 5 minutes away. There was 5 in our party and we had plenty of space. We are very happy with our stay. I would give you 10 stars if I could. Thanks again for such a wonderful place to stay after a week of hiking.

The apartment is super clean, beautiful and has any kind of utensils that my heart desires. The location is absolutely perfect. Close to everything, yet nice and quiet. It is also close to the supermarket, plenty of restaurants and the sports facilities and recreation at the Marriott is fantastic.

The Evergreen units have been recently refurbished and they are wonderful. The resort has an excellent staff who are friendly, knowledgeable and go out of their way to be helpful. I like the fact that Streamside is located away from the busy center of Vail but is close enough to allow for frequent visits provided by their free shuttle service. I recommend the Marriott Streamside

Stayed during the summer. Rooms are clean and very nice. Location is fantastic in West Vail, and the resort is pretty quiet. The pool and hot tub were both nice as well. Front desk staff is friendly and they even have board games to check out.

Very nice and well maintained property. Surprisingly quiet w proximity to road. You can't see or hear road once you are on property. Condos are very cozy with all the amenities you can think of. Has a great playroom for the little ones with toys, crafts, and much more. Has nice Indoor/outdoor pool and spa. Only downside was no convenience type store on property, but several stores within blocks.

I would recommend this place. After having much trouble checking in the staff were very helpful and kept their cool through it all.

The rooms were very nice and clean. The resort is a great area close to it all. There's a pool, bfast, lounge, game room, sauna, and fitness area.

Loved all the amenities at our disposal including the racquet ball court, gym, steam room, sauna, game room, and pools. Theres a calendar of events which, when I was there, included a beer tasting, wine and cheese tasting, and smoothie bar. The complementary bus into town was also fantastic. You grab your gear and go! Short drive to the lifts and gondolas. It's really convenient to have the snowboarding and ski rental facility in the main building too. The bus has spots for the gear by the way. The desk staff weren't overly welcoming and warm but they were not rude either. So that's whatever. The room itself was quite nice and roomy, enough so for a few people to relax comfortably. The pull out couch was surprisingly nice to sleep on and the main bedrooms bed was super plush. I really think the full kitchen is super nice for longer stays. Now you can meal plan your stay with the shuttles sometimes running to the local grocery store. I will say, I'm glad they had a portable humidifier in the room, I really needed it being from Florida. Our room had two TV's, a balcony and a fireplace, which were super nice to utilize. Two bathrooms made it a breeze to get ready in the morning. 4 people would be fine in a room here. I really enjoyed my stay. The ski lockers are located at the bottom of this building so you can grab and go straight to the shuttle, which goes into town to the lifts. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. EXCEPT (there's always one thing)... the construction happening the floor above us. We were told about this upon arrival. But it was suppose to be between certain hours only. However, almost everyday, without fail, the workers were early and very loud. This woke us up eariler than we intended and I'm already not a morning person. Kind of a bummer when you're on vacation. Bad for me... But what's good for you is hopefully it'll be renovated and new when you're thinking of staying here. That's a plus! Would return again =]
