I got my hair coloured and cut by Ali here around a month ago and I m still receiving compliments. I went from and ombred blonde to an all over red. The change was amazing she got rid of all my dead hair and did an amazing job styling afterwards. The conversation was great and I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking to have a big change or even a small colour. This is a great place to go.

Amazing Environment at Stratosphere!
I moved to Vancouver recently and after a few weeks I ended up with a mop on my head because I'm really picky and didn't know where to cut my hair. Somehow I ended up at Stratosphere and met Chad, he cut my hair EXACTLY how I wanted it and I highly recommend him to anyone!
Ali is a little angel in a big talented being - she is a GEM - i am always worried when someone so young is doing my hair as a much older lady -- she is skilled and listens to you - she is the sweetest loveliest young lady - she makes you feel important valued and is truly interested in who you are and what you do and how she can make you feel good about yourself - a diamond she is! so many thanks to Berlin for putting up with my back and forth and back and forth questions -- totally accommodating helpful didn't for a second make me feel like the obsessive person that i am - just helped me out and made the scheduling fit me all with what i know was electronically a smile - and so nice to see Jay's smiling face again as well - this place is really FAB

I came in for a cut and unfortunately walked out hating my hair. The stylist had no idea how to work with thick hair or achieve the look I wanted. It was my first time at the salon so in retrospect I should have asked for an experienced hairdresser who could work with thick hair but I didn't. Clearly I was booked with someone less experienced which I realised by the most basic cut I received and because the price of the cut was very low. The rest of the salon seemed full of regulars so clearly my experience wasn't indicative of the salon as a whole.
Deb is amazing!!! She is the best at microblading and I will always recommend her!

Have had my hair cut here several times as it is close to where I work and have always been very happy with the service and results. The last time I went I was helped by Steph, a very chatty and talented young girl! I wanted to change my hairstyle and Steph helped me choose something new. I was very impressed and will be going back.
I've been here twice to get my hair cut.
The shop is bright and clean, the receptionist and hairdressers very warm, energetic and friendly, the hairmassages relaxing and caring, the free coffee is gently sweet and full of flavour - like having a cup of coffee in Italy, thebproducts are gentle, smell good and effective, and my hairdresser, Chad Evans, is warm and friendly, listens to what I want and always gives me a haircut that makes me want to wear my hair down. You get all the quality for the reasonable price here.

Been coming here for a couple years now and it's been a wonderful experience. I always see Ali when I go and would recommend her to anyone thinking of trying Stratosphere out, she's assisted me so much with deciding what kind of look I want and helped me change it over time as I wanted even when I wasn't sure myself.
Never feel rushed when coming here and always get a great conversation and haircut, the tea or coffee they offer at the beginning of the appointment is a nice bonus too.

I just love this place! Every time I go there to get a hair cut I feel like million dollar!!!! Really good costumer service. Everything is super clean inside. They re definitely follow all the COVID-19 rules which it feels super safe. I go to Dustin, yes he does an amazing job every single time.
Everything here is top notch! I've been getting my brows waxed & tinted by Deb for over two years and have never been able to find anyone who offers her level of professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail. I've had my brows butchered by other salons and even after one visit, Deb finds a way to make them perfect & symmetrical. I don't think I could bring myself to let anyone touch my brows again

After my colour and cut last week at Stratosphere, a stranger came up to me and complimented my hair, it looked that good. My stylist is very tuned in to what I want, which makes me a very happy client.
I love this place. The whole crew is very welcoming and friendly. I have been going here for years and there's a special feeling when everyone knows me by name. It's filled with talented passionate professionals who obviously love what they do. They continue to give back to their community which is very admirable. I look forward to their seasonal interior decorations! oh, and the best haircuts in the city!
Comfortable atmosphere and everyone there seems to truly enjoy what they do.
I see Dustin and he's my favorite stylist ever. He really makes me feel confident about my hair. He also just blow dries my hair with such purpose and technique, I've even started doing the same... or rather my attempt at something similar. And when I leave after an appointment I feel like I'm in a pantene commercial. Now that my hair is silky bouncy perfection I get to 100% honestly say "I just woke up this way".
I've also had the privilege of getting my brows waxed and tinted here, and I must say that the attention to detail this lovely lady has is seriously impressive!
10/10 would reccomend Stratosphere.

I've been seeing Dustin for 5+ yrs. He's dedicated to his craft & thus brilliant at what he does. I feel very well taken care of every time I sit in his chair. He takes the time to discuss your hair goals & gives you genuine advice. I recommend him to everyone!
Best hair salon in Vancouver hands down! Both my sister and I had the best experience there with Chad. He gave us the first haircut we loved. Everyone there is super friendly and the salon has a great atmosphere!
Dustin is hands down the best stylist/colourist I have ever had. I arrived in his chair with a total botched colour job and he worked miracles while being realistic about what could be achieved in one sitting. Eight months (and a few visits) later, my hair looks the best it ever has (I know this because people often comment on how great the colour is).
UPDATE: Still going to see Dustin - and I have determined he is actually a hair god :) Having continued to give me the best colour, he just restyled my cut...and dang! He nailed that too!
Great location originally on Grandville street. They offer a variety of services including makeup and hair cuts. I recommend Kendall she has incredible skill as a hair stylist. They have the ability to book online ahead of time. There is limited parking next to the salon but there is a parade in close proximity on Cordova. They also have dogs which add a great atmosphere. Everyone is really friendly
I recently got my hair dyed and cut here and I'm in love with it. All the hairdressers here are super talented and passionate about what they do. I was there for four hours and the vibe was super great. If you want awesome colour ask for Ali !!

Amazing. Kendall is an absolute gem and an amazing artist. She worked wonders with my very long overdue hair. I am new to the city and was nervous about going to a new stylist but was SO lucky I chose this spot. She made me feel at ease, was very knowledgeable and super sweet. Both colour and cut were beyond perfect, the entire staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

It's a good experience every time I go in for a haircut. Great atmosphere, friendly people, prices are on the high end but they vary depending on the hair dresser. All in all great place and I've gone there for years.
I would recommend this place since they have great service and it's not too expensive. I would defiantly get a haircut there again.

If you're looking for a review of the salon's culture and treatment by staff, this review might be helpful! After spending 2 hours searching for hydrogen peroxide with no avail, I had the bright idea to stop by my neighbourhood salon to ask for it. Dustin came to the rescue with a smile! He didn't even roll his eyes or judge that I asked for such a random item. Instead he went to the back and came out with a small jar for me. And you know the best part?
I'm not even a client! But now I will be - I'm booking my appointment for next month. <3

Ali is great for short hair/bobs. I was distraught after my stylist of nine years left Vancouver, but a few months later I saw someone with a cut similar to mine and thankfully that person told me about Ali. Hope to have at least nine good years with her, too!

I've been seeing Kendall at Stratosphere for the last year and a bit. She is a genius at colour and is my secret weapon against my hair's strong tendency to pull red. I am so thankful to have found Kendall. She is wise beyond her years and a true talent. She knows my hair better than I do and I trust her implicitly.

Talented staff however they often canceled on you which it s hard if you really need the haircut or you moved your whole day around so you can make it to the appointment.
