I've been shopping at KTP for years. Its always a good experience. The prices are reasonable, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. There are places much closer to me, and I still usually prefer to go to "The Post".

This was sale week so the place was crowded. THE FOOD PLACE WAS CLOSED so find somewhere else to eat. Other then that a normal pleasant store with helpful employees.
A bit difficult to navigate if you're new to the store with its several floors that wind together, but overall a great place, and very cool on the inside!
Great place but they don't offer military discount. The guy at the counter said they offer a generous one one week a year. One week ... thanks, we serve 365 days a year and we get one week. Thanks ....
I feel like everyone in New England makes this their first or last stop in Maine. I drove up here just to grab a Geocache for Maine, and took some time exploring this store. Great outdoor store filled with many amazing brands and a lovely and very helpful staff.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. Every employee is extremely polite and helpful, and most of them know their stuff. The selection of high quality products is phenomenal and we'll stocked. Worth the drive every time!
A grown man's ideal shopping experience. Ladies if you need to have time to shop to your complete delight, drop your man off here and you'll be coming back to fish him out of the store.
Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great prices and a summer tent sale on out of season goods that's not-to-miss for deals on high quality items.
Such an incredible store. They carry a fantastic variety product for every genre of outdoor activity you can imagine. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the prices certainly are competitive rivaling that of an Amazon which is awesome. Love this store!
The experience I had, much to my dismay, was less than great. I attempted to purchase a fire arm and they attempted to put the sales tax on my bill. Getting them to correct this issue was a huge pain in the rear end. I had to wait an additional hour. They didn t offer any solutions and were less than helpful in correcting.
I order from Kittery Trading Post online. Their shipping is very fast. I live 4 States away and can't drive up there. They have quite a few sales and also have free shipping.
One of the best and most comprehensive outdoors/sporting stores I have ever visited. Bigger than Scheels in the Midwest, and anything I've seen on the west coast.
This is a great place to find any kind of outdoor gear! They have a huge selection of anything you want from clothes the side by sides. They have a decently friendly staff but they do not allow dogs on their premises.
I shopped here a lot growing up. It made back to school shopping fun with all the choices. I still have the suede Jansport backpack I got in 1986 and still use it! You'll find so much great stuff here from clothing to camping supplies.
There are alot of clothes brands to choose from at pretty decent prices. They even sell fudge and candied nuts. It's basically like an oversized cabela's or bass pro shop.
This place is absolute heaven for the outdoors oriented. Prices are about on par with the big retailers, and selection and service in most departments is top notch. It's a cool place to see with supplies for all types of adventure seekers, and i would highly recommend paying this store a visit!
Well run store, I have been shopping there for hiking gear, footwear, clothing, Archery gear, fishing gear and firearms / ammunition for the past several decades. Overall, very pleased.
Absolutely fantastic staff. Went with the Hope's to make a trade of a rifle. Check in staff was great and safe. Trade staff did amazing work to get me the best deal in a new rifle. Love how they can do Maine and New Hampshire transfers. Huge help! Will do business with them again.
I purchased my first fire Arm here (Ruger LCP) along with an extra clip and Ammo. It was amazing experience here, the staff was helpful with the application. They did not pressure me to purchase, they identify my needs and produced the best solution to fill my needs. Loved the no pressure environment. The 2 hrs drive was worth it
The floor clerks were extremely helpful, even looked for & found a way to get me more off my purchase. More than satisfied with my experience. Thank you.
Would just like to THANK YOU to Charlies and the assistant Manger in the firearms department you guys, are AWESOME made it a stress free experience for my wife to buy her first firearm and I love my new Nikon scope works great Again THANK YOU
I did try to sell my two used 12ga pumps. Very young looking man offered me $75 for one and $125 for the other. Thankfully I tried with Cabela's. Older and much more experienced man took his time and explained to me a lot about guns. They gave me $425 for my guns. Thus my trip of 36 miles from Kittery to Cabela's was worth $225.
In short, Cabela will give you more for your used guns and treat you with more respect and attention.
As an outdoors woman there is nothing I don t love about this place. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. It can get pretty busy for them almost any point in the year so I would come beating patients.
Online customer. Purchased a used handgun. Due to numerous FTFs, it was returned. When the manufacturer failed to repair it, Kittery issued me a store credit. Less than 48 hours later, I was shooting my replacement handgun at the range!! Kittery is awesome!!!
Huge sporting goods and outdoor store. Went in for a quick trip ended up spending multiple hrs. Good prices, huge selection of merchandise from clothes, to camping gear, paddle boards and more. We will be back.
What an awesome store! HUGE selection, good prices, and the widest variety of outdoor gear I ve ever seen. Better even than Cabelas, Bass Pro, Gander, etc. Good deals inside the store and even better deals in the tent sale outside.
This place has it all! Plenty of parking, clean bathrooms, lots of hand sanitizer stations, and even a small take-out restaurant for lunch. (Menu for the restaurant is on their website). Be sure to go when you have plenty of time to look around, because there's a lot to see. They have a large selection of shoes, including running shoes like Brooks & Hoka1. Also a great selection of Birkenstocks. Lots of name brand clothes, like North Face, Columbia & Patagonia. They also have everything you can think of related to outdoor activities. Tents, kayaks, fishing stuff, hunting stuff etc. I went in looking specially for a hydration vest to be worn for running. They have a big selection of Camelbaks, but also over with the water bottles and such, on the back wall, they have a selection of lighter weight hydration vests, better suited for running. I found a vest made by Nathan that checked all the boxes for me, but they also had some nice vests made by Osprey and Camelbak as well, and a few hydration belts in the fanny pack style that hold water bottles. In that same area they had some handheld water bottles with the strap that goes around your hand, and reflectors to be worn when running at night. Overall a great selecting considering this isn't a running store. Can't wait to visit again when I have more time to shop!
I always like Kittery Trading Post. I have to take exception to the attempt at food service in the parking lot. It's horrible and not managed well st all. Rude teens in charge. There was an older woman there for a moment to oversea them but left with no interest. I put a food order in and paid. Four of them stood around chatting. After many people came up to place orders they broke into frenzy. One started cooking while the others watched. Orders came out ahead of mine. I asked where is mine ,I was here first. They said get back away from th r windows and wait. NO THANKS KITTERY. NO MORE KITTERY!
Lines to Long!and I was on a hurry,so I asked to check out at service desk and Hale said to go get in the Long line,so I ask the at service desk and she said no so o threw it in cart and left disappointed!
Many variety of outdoor stuf, work stuf or just leasure clothing and shoes, many brands and you will pay for it. Wait for sales 50 or more % - ends of season etc. Be aware you can easily spend half a day here without noticing, time flies fast and deals are tempting.
Overcrowded for the Labor Day Sales event. Lots of children's entertainment, food, and noise. Difficult to locate a good deal. This is located in the The Maine Outlet Shopping Center.
