Best bar in Wrigley! Tons of local craft beers and great food! Friendly staff too!

This was first time here and I loved it. Our server, Mayra, made our experience magical. Definitely would come back again. Ask for Mayra, she will treat you right!

I've been there before a few times and it's always been the same copy paste, basic bar you've always went too, nothing interesting to do. Just cool props to look at I guess.

Those fries though. Daaaamn. Best fries ever. Also the only bar the bartenders that pay attention to you in Wrigely. Will def be back.

Some crazy guy told me there were friendly, non-poisonous cobra snakes that roam this bar. Of course I found this to be a lie when I went in but the place is still super cool so I go anyway!

Great beer selection right next to Wrigley's. Was not able to enjoy the open windows at the front of the bar due to the extrem temps

Attended this bar on a Friday night for trivia. They have a $20 for non game nights all you can drink beers from 6-9. Great, chill bar! Somewhere that you can have a beer and chat.

Bar tenders were quick to get our orders. Food was decent. Not too far from Wrigley Field. Good place to get a drink.

Went here on St. Patrick's Day weekend. The specials on the chalkboard said $7 Irish CarBombs and was charged $10. When we told our waitress that they were on special. she ignored it. Spoke to manager who would not honor special. Ended up paying full price. Never going back and have told my friends not to patronize this place!

One of the few "real bars" left in Wrigleyville. Cheap tacos and the Malort is free flowing.

Horrible service, horrible drinks, and inept management. I have never seen such disorganization in any kind of establishment in my entire life. This bar is ran like a 1 year old's diaper... crappy.

Great neighborhood bar that's all the better with the new additions to Wrigleyville. It is truly one of the authentic gems of Clark St. Great staff, awesome food and low-key. You can always meet a friendly Chicagoan there to chat with.

This is a 5 star review for our server, but shame on the bar. Here on pride weekend and they have 1 poor worker running the whole place. She s a rock star and working hard, but a shame they put her in this position. One would think on pride weekend a bar would staff up......

There was a dude playing guitar after a Cubs game, had a beer, it was cool, I'd go back to see how it is on other days

Hawkeye Heaven in Chicago. Cold beer, Hawkeye themed decore, close to Wrigley, I love it, I love it. (It's a Hawkeye thing.)

There isn't anymore Merkle's Bar because of the construction.

It's a nice and tasty Asian and American fusion cuisine. The food is delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. Must try when you're around. Casual and self service style.

Friend of owner came in so drunk he couldn t stand. Began throwing glasses and at one point a chair against the wall next to customers. Was not asked to leave. Was not escorted out. In fact was protected by the bouncer from angry customers. Would not recommend would not return.

I went to Merkle's last night for a friends birthday party. When I showed up with a group of friends, the doorman wouldn't allow us in because of my friends shoes, which we understood. Meanwhile, we are texting my friends that are inside, telling them we have to go to a different bar, while the doorman was letting in other people that did not fit the 'dress code' they were trying to enforce on us. I politely asked the doorman why they were allowed in, and his response was full of cuss words and said its his job to let people who he wants in. I proceeded to ask what his name was, and he responded with "my name is F--- Off!" I asked for his manager and he said that he won't get him because the bar is busy. I assume the manager was watching this, because one minute later he came outside. The manager Liam, was rude and very unprofessional and didn't care to help resolve the situation with his extremely rude employee that has no customer service. But as soon as I mentioned that a party of 8 that are inside are going to leave because we can't come in, then he switched his attitude and allowed us in.

We are finally allowed in, and the place is extremely dirty. As expected, the bartenders had horrible service, terrible beer selection, disgusting bathroom, etc. etc.

Do NOT go here, you will receive terrible/rude service.

Came here before Pride to pregame a little bit, and loved it so much that we came back after the parade for a quick dinner and drinks! Super great staff and excellent service in the morning and evening!

Beat this deal- Tuesday's are everything half off!! I always get the Black n Bleu burger- ground beef burger with bleu cheese and mushrooms, amazing!! Another great burger is the Cajun burger- has avocados and sliced pineapple. Bonus- comes in a pretzel bun!! For no additional cost!! Final bill for a burger $5- add a couple dollars for tip and you still come out the winner!!!
During Bears season- all you can eat buffet for $11!! Awesome wait staff and incredibly good food!!

Jason is a fantastic bartender. Also, they had some amazing stout on tap. Really good bar, even for Wrigleyville.

Great staff, good space and very accommodating. We hosted a private party and the transition between our hours and time they open to public went very smoothly.

Food is always fresh, quick and really good. Management and servers are really cool, always friendly and attentive. We've had a few large parties and post work functions there and they've delivered every time. It's also very reasonably priced considering the neighborhood. Highly recommended and two thumbs up

Horrible service, way understaffed. The poor lone waitress tried her best but couldn't do it by herself. Hawkeye game with one bartender and one waitress?! Horribly managed.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and great food make this a great place to stop before a ballgame or a show at Metro.

Love Merkles. It's one of my favorite places to go in Wrigley. Rockie is an amazing bartender. I highly recommend making a stop in to check it out.

Was really hoping to like this place since it is an Iowa bar, and I'm a Hawkee. We stopped in while wandering around Wrigleyville during a Cubs game (so we were the only table there), and the food was great, but I had to go to the bar to get a waitress, our waitress forgot what drinks we had, botched the checks and it was just overall not great service. I'm sorry, it was the worst service I've had thus far living here in Chicago. I asked if she could split the check, and she said yes. She came over and asked made sure what we all had so she could split it by item.

She was struggling to keep it strait, so I asked if we should just split 7 ways (which we were okay doing) and she insisted to split it by item. She then put different items all all different checks, so every person's check was wrong. And when we put two receipts under to charge to one card, she charged a different card for those two receipts (so one of my friends paid over 40, and he had a 15 dollar meal). I honestly wish I never asked her to even try to split. Normally I like to ask just in case, but I really regret doing that here.

Honestly, the food is great. If you go there, just go when you're drunk enough that good service isn't an issue and you can pay with cash. I know it's a Wrigleyville bar, so I shouldn't expect amazing service, but seriously, if splinting the check is too hard tell us and we will deal with it. Not that hard.

Have ordered from here twice. First time everything was delivered, but burger was burnt. Second order our cheese curds were missing and burger was burnt again and everything was very very salty. Overall I would not order from here again.

Awesome done bar in Wrigleyville, this place has awesome service. 4 stars because the food is good but not great. Definitely recommend checking out Friday night trivia and the happy hour drink deal.

Nice Iowa bar in Wrigleyville! Reason for 5 Star rating is that they have a secured Lyft phone charging station for every phone out there. Which is HUGE!
