Stovax Ltd Review

Had my product for a few months now and I feel it has made the room and gives the room a lovely finish.

I got my stovax Midi T multi fuel stove fitted on Monday. It looks amazing and was exactly the look I was after. I have really changed to look for my living room. The stove gives out fantastic heat into my room. I'm really looking forward for these long winter nights. I would recommend everyone to purchase a stovax product.

I am the proud owner of a Stovax Vogue Medium. This is truly the centrepiece of our new home and lighting the fire is the highlight of every day. It burns beautifully, has a very clear window and is far more appealing to watch than anything on the TV. We absolutely love our stovax wood burning stove.

If you buy one of these stoves, make sure all the parts are there before it is installed, ours was installed in June 2017 the multi fuel parts were missing, it s now October and despite repeated requests they are still not available.

We looked at several woodburners before deciding on our Dovre 250 stove which is sold by Stovax.

We absolutely love the heat it throws out and is so much easier to control and better in general than our previous open fire! We ve not had any issues with performance so far and would thoroughly recommend!

We bought two stoves in the Autumn whilst renovating our home, a woodburner for the living room to replace an open fire and a gas stove for our new extension. They both look wonderful and give out plenty of heat. Absolutely thrilled with our choice.

Recently moved house and have been looking into getting a fireplace as the the property s original one was unfortunately removed at some point. I spoke with the staff at Stovax and Gazco about exactly what I wanted and they were incredibly helpful, knew their products well and provided me with invaluable advice about what kind of fireplace would best suit the space, installation constraints and alternatives to help keep within my ideal budget. Overall great experience and looking forward to enjoying the fireplace!

We had a Stockton 6 Stovax multifuel woodburner. We had it for 3 years installed by a registered Hetas engineer. We had a Hetas engineer chimney sweep it each year too. We looked after it and burned the wood recommended.
Then, we had a problem with the back baffle plate cracking. It needed replacing but to do this the screws on the outside needed to be removed. This is not easy as you can imagine being baked on. I had two engineers try to do it but couldn't without causing damage. I then phoned the customer service for help and advice. This is the reason for my negative review.
I have never spoken to a more negative arrogant unhelpful man.in my entire life. Chris his name was n he said there were two Chris's n he was known as Chris n the first letter of his surname which I can't recall. He just repeated over and over like he was bored and falling asleep "get a qualified Hetas engineer to remove the screws."
Even after I explained I already had n could he offer another solution, could they send someone and id pay but he was not interested at all. I asked to speak to the manager but he would not let me.
Apparently this back baffle should not have cracked and my engineers had never seen it before. All I needed was Stovax to help me, it is their product afterall. No help and very very poor unhelpful and rude man who would not move from the company line, just was not interested.
I was so upset with this that we removed the Stovax Stove and bought a Clearview which we should have done from the start. All parts are easily replaced if n when required.
Stovax you should be ashamed employing staff like that. I will never use you, or recommend your brand to anyone. Utterly dissapointed. My product was registered correctly gor warranty too, but even that was not of any help. Useless company.

very disappointed with our Stovax Reflex 75T gas fire. Looks good but when you want to turn it down there is no 'STOP' point on the remote so you continually turn it off as you don't realise how far down you can go. We paid an awful lot for this fire and are disappointed to say the least.

Love my fire got a Sheraton 5 heats the whole house and burns like a dream!

We have a Vintage 35 log burner - it s absolutely stunning! The quality of the cast iron is very high! It was installed by Flaming Grate in Dawlish. We couldn t compliment the stove or installers more!

Ordering parts for my parents stove was quick and easy, highly recommended.

Worse company we have ever dealt, appalling customer service .... ordered a wood conversion kit direct from them, constantly parts delayed, part of order delivered, eventually after nearly 3 months cancelled the order and still 3 months later fighting for a full refund ... emails ignored, calls ignored, extremely rude staff ... our fire was only purchased in November last year and already needs all the door seals replacing, the stove is definitely not worth the money we paid and we would not recommend Stovax as a product or ever purchase again!

Stovax have a great range of quality stoves and fireplaces , one thing to be careful of is that if you buy online you will only qualify for their one year warranty ,if you buy from one of their retailers through a shop and register their product you will qualify for the extended 5 year warranty well worth thinking about.

This is a review for the spares shop. I ordered online as they do not have a collection facility at the factory, a shame as I was on the same road. I ordered online at the weekend as I had the following week off work. By Friday nothing had arrived. I called and was told they would call back. Three hours later I called again and was told it was being despatched that day. My order was changed to "despatched" at 8pm 3 days later on the following Monday, over a week after I'd ordered and paid. Fortunately Yodel were more efficient and I managed to get the delivery changed to a time I was home.

Really poor customer service and unbelievable excuses - The email trail I have is really quite funny were it not so sad -Gawd knows how they exist if their stock control systems are really as they have explained them to me - It's just embarrassing - I hope Mr Walker (director) looks at these crummy reviews - -Anyone who would like to see my email trail for a laugh please let me know - If what they have told me is true then they are ripe to be bought out and reorganised.

I see they are close to Greggs - do they spend all day stuffing themselves with pies and then assuming the consumer would also like stuffing ?

having used one of the stockton 5 stoves without any problems for 7 years i managed to break the glass - ordered a part from stovax, arrived promptly, wrapped up carefully enough to resist the worst the delivery firm could throw at it. stove working again no drama.

Currently own a Stockton boiler and a Vogue gas burner for a smaller good room. Both stoves have a premium feel to them and are great centerpieces to each room, visitors are always blown away by the heat the give off!!

The shop looks really nice but there are no opening time details and having rung the telephone number, again, no details.....living no-where near Exeter, it would be good to know if the shop opens on saturdays and sundays and what time?

Qaulity Stoves and Fires

Really pleased with my stovax studio fire, looks brilliant and heats the whole house. Would recommend.

Recently bought a Stovax fireplace. To all readers be careful because the (water based) lacquer finish reacts to the most natural of things ....water. I put a cold glass on top of the mantle piece for about 2 hours and the condensation left a 'swollen ring' that cannot be removed. Clearly this product has not been properly design tested as I found the same problem on two test pieces. Stovax were not interested and so it is up to other readers to comment on their experiences to alert future customers.

We bought a Stockton 5 woodburner by Stovax 7 years ago. It s served us so well in that time.

Three years ago the rope seal on door had worn down so needed replacing (I believe this is normal) Stovax have an easy to use spare parts website to order replacement and online videos which showed us how to replace rope. Once we did this it was like a brand new stove - Fantastic!

Stove door from day one sticking ...handle not fit for purpose...cannot get any one out to look at it.

Just got a Stovax Vogue Medium wood burning stove. This is a Brilliant stove great control over the fire. The heat is fabulous, will be great for these long winter nights. Without hesitation would recommend this to anyone.

Really pleased with my two Yeoman CL wood burners - both look great and give off loads of heat. Both are easy to use and very responsive. Glass stays really clean thanks to the airwash and flames look great!
