Wow okay their receptionist is a total jerk. I called asking for any information I can get, on how to find a doctor to help extend my hormone prescription, and not only was the receptionist rude and curt, but she was also unhelpful and acted like I should magically know how to get a doctor. I had recently moved from BC and I was just trying to get any info I can on how it works, and she made me feel like garbage.
After dialing ext. 1, the receptionist is so rude... she even doesnt have time to listen customers problems and issues .
Doctor and receptionist on the 2nd floor are great for the most part. Which ever receptionist answers the phone is extremely rude. She was yelling at me over the phone and all I was trying to do was ask a question. Then she hung up on me. How rude is that.
Vary best health care and doctors who are there for your needs and service.. fast pace inspirational people kind caring and hopefull making the DiFranco in your doctor's visit.. true friends in the health care system. . Lovely place

been coming here for 3 years, the doctors and nurses are all amazing and kind. now there are of course bad staff and that's mainly one of the secretaries. 3/4 that work there are good at their job and make sure you are taken care of but the odd one is the reason why so many people leave a one star review. she's uncaring, mean and obviously hates her job but I haven't seen her in the last 3 months. I'm sure she was either fired or she quit since I saw 2 new secretary staff last I visited.
Horrible receptionists. They're argumentative and not helpful. They blamed the Costco pharmacy for not requesting my prescription refill even when I verified at Costco that it had been faxed to the right number a week before. On a different occasion, the receptionist refused to share the the centre's email so I could forward my insurance adjuster's forms to my family doctor; in fact, she asked me to call the office and leave a voicemail with my request even though I was already there talking with her! There are numerous other occasions, and I'm so disappointed in the receptionists at this centre! Now, because of the awful reception service, I'm looking for a new doctor.

My recent experience with the Sherbourne Health Center left me feeling both violated and betrayed, most especially by the people that I trusted the most, my health care providers. The one s professing to strive to create a safe, respectful and accessible space that affirms the identities, experiences and needs of all service users, staff, providers, students and visitors . Truthfully speaking, I was not treated with dignity or respect; but, quite the opposite, intolerance and discrimination. I was blamed for being late, for raising my voice because I was anxiously upset, and, for my care provider having canceled my appointment because I was 12 minutes late; through no fault of my own. Instead, they broke the appointment up into 2 visits, now and then. Having just spent $30 on a Lyft to get here, I wasn t about to be forced to come back, from 20 km away, in my physical condition, and as sick as I am. After all, many, too many times I ve wait an hour or more, patiently I might add, to see my doctor.
During this ordeal, I got attitude from the receptionist on the phone and then when I presented myself. These people forget that I AM the patient, and that it is my anxiety that I feel. I am the sick person, the one that needs their help and support, their respect and dignity; and not, their discriminatory remarks and condescension.
The Caucasian receptionist is the most rude individual I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with in our 30 second encounter. I was looking for a doctor that works the on Wednesdays but was unsure whether he was there Thursdays. She was incredibly dismissive and barely looked up from the computer. She waved her hand at me as though I was a bother and said us, your doctor doesn't work here so whatever, I don't know.
Been coming here for over 15 years. My doctor is fabulous, the service is friendly and courteous. It's usually very busy and the receptionists are overworked. Yet, if you smile and are friendly, and patient, you will always be treated respectfully.
Wait times are inconsistent. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Have been a for years and do not have a great deal of negative experiences.
There is a registered nurse working with my doctor that makes the entire business of going to the clinic very professional, friendly and informative. She does excellent work.
